- Giving you advice whilst shaving my hair for the last time for a long time.
This year was brutal. From the commentary on all my videos to the feedback on my brand, this year has taught me a real lot.
I learnt a lot this year, but my biggest lesson was to remain humble. Remain humble to my craft, to myself and to my audience.
Thank you for giving me one more year to celebrate my love for my hair, especially with the launch of my brand. To all those who shopped and loved and supported, you are on an entire different pedal stool in my life and I will hold you there until I die.

I was never popular in high school and have always been an individual. I don't let what's "in" influence me because I do what I feel looks good on me and what I feel is best for me...at that moment in my life. Our lives are lived in seasons and change is inevitable. I am an introvert and don't "play" to people...I hate the term and idea of "networking" because it's not genuine. In short...I'm not going to try to create a friendship all for the purpose of maybe needing that person as a connection...it's not genuine. I am real...I am honest and I am me! I applaud your freedom to be simply you! It shouldn't be any other way. We all will have victories, failures and mediocrities in our lives. It's fluid...it can change like the seasons. My prayer for you is that you take joy in the comfort of being Stella Cini in all your glory, failures and in who God made you to be! God bless you Stella!

Stella, I've never commented before and didn't even realise you were getting negative comments. Quite often the negative people are the loudest and us normal people are quietly enjoying the videos. You really became an adult right in front of your audience and that's amazing. You started this channel under 18, making braiding videos for a hobby, then you turned this into a career, started a brand, had to put on many hats as a proper entrepreneur, of course you changed. You became more serious, maybe that's a sad facet of life, that the carefree teen is bound to die out and the adult who earns a living is bound to show the weight of that, but it's almost inevitable. I still hope you find balance in your work, so you can be more carefree again, so you won't cry yourself to sleep. At least you know yourself better now, and you can learn from your mistakes

In regards to your brand the most important thing is that you don't give up, mistakes and set backs are part of growing, and sure ar hell not easy. This was so incredibly heartwarming. I have similar feelings about feeling introverted and not a social person at all, and somehow, I've managed to have some little success in my own creative business this year. Lost friends but realized they were only holding me back so I'm ready to take on 2024 in a more balanced "me time" with less stress (*less people lol) and more creativity and fun at my own pace.

I’ve been amazed by the many transformations you’ve attempted over the past 2 years since I started watching your videos, and although I definitely have my favorite looks, you are blessed in that you seem to pull off pretty much all the styles you’ve tried. Probably a combination of good genetics/bone structure and the style choices you pair with it as far as makeup, contacts, accessories and outfits you seem to master the art of combining elements to accomplish a full look. I love the content you make and the fact that your aim now is to keep doing what you do for the love of it and that is very likely a key ingredient in why your able to pull off these different styles you wear the looks with confidence and thus the looks don’t wear you ❤

As a natural extrovert who has struggled this year after a hard health diagnosis, I get your thing about being yourself and not giving any f's about what other people think. I was always like that, but this year has been so hard. So thank you for igniting that in me again.

I am so proud of you!!! We are quite a bit alike in many ways. I too am an introvert, I tend to skip taking care of myself at times and I have learned a lot over the past year.
I learned the painful lesson about losing friends 4 years ago when I had my amputation. Some just couldn't handle that for quite awhile I had to put all my energy into healing in more ways than one and not spend so much on them. It hurt but I honestly don't miss them.
This year I became a certified peer visitor for the Amputee Coalition and got to fulfill a dream to help others.
And btw, I thought you looked stunning with buzzed hair. I buzzed mine due to Alopecia and I look horrible with it buzzed...but you gave me the strength to do so and I thank you so much.

I've been watching stella for years and years and seeing this video makes me happy for her. She has found herself and what she believes in, even if she's not comfortable with sharing some things, it's you who matters to yourself most and you must respect yourself before others.
Personaly, I like that every one of your videos have different energy. My experiencis is that life has ups and downs, we grow, we change, we evolve, thats part of life. If you were exactly the same as 4 years ago that would be wierd (because I know Im not, which I feel is both good and bad). I hope you will continue growing and learning (I know i will). I remember watching one of your old videos, giving yourself a cute little bob a mirror and a razer machine. I loved the result and since corona started I have done my hair exactly like that and get so happy everytime. It's never completely even or perfect, but it is beautiful and I'm so proud to do it myself. Keep doing your best ❤

It’s refreshing to hear you speak your mind, I think you’re awesome Stella, hope you find peace and tolerance to deal with the people that make you believe what they said about worst part of working.
It’s amazing that you care about henna. And you getting a buzzcut and also showing us your growth from a buzzcut makes me feel welcome, for some reason.
2023 also had a bit of unpleasantness due to annoying insecure, lying & mentally ill child-like people, a girl pulled on my hair and hit me around my body as she tore strands of my hair until they could take her away, I have mid thigh length hair, I love it long so it was so annoying and still is, for me, to have to deal with the loss and damage, so now there’s this whole regrowing I’ve to do and seeing your growth is great guidance and I also feel like I’m not alone if you buzzcut your hair. I did not buzzcut mine but growing out some pieces feels like if I had shaved, and maybe it was a bit like shaving, or even worse- like plucking the hair from the internal structure. Anyways. I recommend you don’t care about people who only care about harming you. My mistake was caring too much about worthless scumbag girls who are so insecure, not even they like themselves.

We are the same age, I used to be jealous of what you’ve been able to achieve that I haven’t but really I appreciate how much you’ve been able to do and learn for yourself and of course nothing is a competition and I know that I didn’t think that. I’ve only experienced what I have and know to appreciate others and to be inspired if someone else can do it so can I I’ve always loved your videos I appreciated and loved you experimenting new things and I did them with you! When you buzz cut your hair I never left and I was shocked at the response of your ''loyal'' subscribers. I never left even though I don't care about hair. I never left even though I could when everyone was leaving your channel. I started watching you and grew up knowing you. Maybe I will never meet you in real life but I feel like you are a friend of mine and I will always support you. I’m so proud of you… and honestly when it comes to doing your own hair and it not turning out like “it’s supposed to” - it’s not a bad thing to see the possible good that could come from it.. later on you see how it really looks or you see it from a different perspective and it’s okay to decide it wasn’t great, didn’t turn out great. Sometimes in life we do try to be someone other than who we truly are - whether it’s to please others or to try different things in general you’d never ordinarily do! Anyways, I’m so proud that you spoke YOUR truth. Also, constructive criticism doesn’t have to come out by being rude and ugly about something ya don’t like folks… like who takes something good from an ugly comment other than it just plain being ugly. The actual constructive criticisms were helpful and some genuinely did seem to want to help. But over time so many just wanted to shit on you for the tiniest thing, it was ridiculous as hell. I hope next year is better for you all around, the good and bad but mostly a whole lot of good.
