The hummingbird however...
It seemed fine for applying the semipermanent color, but the bleach application looked very scary to me, the roots didn't look saturated at all (they should be for an even lift, as brad mondo says, your hair should look like it's saturated with tooth paste) and it seemed like the plastic nozzle just scraped of the bleach off of the hair, so I personally would absolutely not use it to apply bleach
Also, you probably wanted the line between the colors to be more blocky, just like your ends, so it was fine, but I feel like in most scenarios you would wanna feather the color out more (e.g. a root shadow) and I don't see the plastic being as capable of that as just a brush...
She wanted the tone of the emerald to match her ends she didn't want the bleach to turn her hair to blonde because the two shades of green would have been a different tone that's while she applied the amount she did
@@edwinpeterson1861 applying more bleach doesn't mean you're gonna get a higher lift, it just assures you're going to get an EVEN lift
You could achieve the same level of lift that stella wanted by just shortening the processing time (which she also did), but not applying enough product just makes it patchy/more likely to come out patchy
@ncteumaja sometimes it does & because her natural hair color isn't that dark, she didn't want to risk it with I'm assuming she's not planning on having the emerald in her hair for a while and she said she got the results SHE wanted
Thank you! Regarding the Hummingbird query, it does work well with all hair products, dyes and bleaches. I can see what you mean regarding the saturation but rest assured the hair was saturated. When bleaching roots you don't need as much product because bleach spreads and lifts on its own on the scalp due to the heat generated, and the hummingbird did an effective job placing the product and then using the nozzle to help spread it.
For anyone bleaching their own roots at home, you definitely want a more blocky application to prevent overlap over the rest of the hair, and the hummingbird is great for that. I wouldn't necessarily use it for a feathered look, but for a root application of any product, its an effective game changer

The hummingbird is okay for color I think, it did a good job, but for bleach...it's not saturated...not really even, its patchy... It's not really doing a good job for bleaching in my opinion

i recently bleached n colored my brows purple! loves it a lot n then today happened… i have remembered the purple n used a diluted black that turned out blueish green… oh dear 😅 then because of the condition of my brows i cant do much 😱😰 so to redirect my thoughts of the look i colored my hair a lite shade of purple 🫠

Using a bottle for blonding services is nothing new but this design is quite clever I think it might be even better for folks doing their hair at home
I agree its an upgraded version of the squeeze bottle but this is a whole new experience. Even product, easy spreading and more comfortable on the hands
For me the hummingbird bottle didn't apply enough bleach, maybe it's better for color.
Have you tried it before? In my case I feel it very evenly distributed the product without over saturating, if you need more product however you can go in with a second layer of product

Not my favorite look tbh, the emerald was fine but the orange is looking sad and done with life. The styling saved the color but this, imo, ain't a good look.
