🌾 13 years of massive machines and countless jaw-dropping moments-what a ride! The Steiger and Big Bud are my favorites, but every tractor here is a marvel. Hats off to Big Tractor Power!
We have a Steiger Tiger ST 450, when we rebuilt it we upped the engine to 525 H.P.Rating. Has so much power it’s unbelievable. Have a spare engine complete with a Jake Brake out of a truck but seems when you have a spare the original keeps going. Cheers my friend thanks for all you videos over the years
Congratulations Jason on 13 years on UA-cam. Great accomplishment and your content continues to get better. I've been watching for about 12 years and will be here for as long as you film. Thank you for ALL you've done!!😊👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻
Well done! My dad managed a 10,000 acre cotton/soybean farm from the mid 60s until a few years ago. In the early 80's, his boss bought 6 Rome tractors with all LazerPlane setups on tandem dirt buckets. They leveled and graded every acre of that farm in less than 5 years. It was quite a spectacle. I got to spend many hours riding on those beasts. I can still hear and feel those engines😂😂 I dragged a 60'×16' land plane around behind them with a Case 2870 Traction King...😂good times!
Jason, you spoke the words of my heart. I love all tractors also, particularly the Big Bud 747. But those Steiger’s are something special. In seen my first Panther 350 in person in ‘77
I still remember back in the mid-80s when I saw my first big bud I will never forget how incredible and massive that thing was running in a field in Montana
My favorite tractor is a horse. Nothing will do better than a faithful living friend tracking life together through space and time my loving memories of life worth living.
My uncle worked with GM and they had the job of fixing the 8850 engines before delivery in Australia. He said they were derated and quite a good unit in full trim. I purchased a 7130 case IH with the cummins 8.3, this was a good tractor except for water pump failures. After fitting a few new ones he asked if he could look at it for me and discovered the clearance between the bearing and its housing was to tight. I fitted his new one with corrected clearance and kept a new one as spare- the spare was never used, well not in the next 8000 hrs. Shows you don,t get to be a manager of detroit diesel maintenance in Melbourne Australia for nothing. Ships, trains and trucks with ag as well. These days he wouldn,t be allowed near it. This is what people are complaining about, bring back Big Bud.
That camera shot of the Big Bud coming over the hill was phenomenal Jason. Really gives the viewer an idea of how large it is. Awesome video as always.
I grew up with a Farmall Super M, H and Cub. The Cub was orange because it was used by a township as a mower. Loved to see the big tractors in the late 1970s and 1980s and constantly heard a farmer will never need a 100 horsepower tractor around here. I grew up in the unglaciated area of southwest Wisconsin, now it seems every thing is over 100 horse. Pretty neat to see the 300 plus horse power of the 1970s and 1980s are reetooled for even more horse power. If you have the weight might as well go 700 horse if you can.
Definitely the BUDS THAT ARE BIG!!!! RENNERS WA- 14 was nice to see too and a favorite. Watch as much as I can but not as much as I like too. Love everything you do, sincerely John T.
Absolutely love the tractors ,watching the farmers Respect them so much for their hard work and dedication They should all be rich instead of struggling They can’t shoot a piece of leather through a hoop But they keep us all alive with their hard work and family traditions Thanks Big guy Keep bringing em and I will keep watching Love your channel
The Big Bud brand is back again. Several Swedish news outlets within the agricultural sector has already talked about it. It was a bit over 30 years ago that Big Bud brand was last making tractors. They did start with the 700 model, and that's what the news in Sweden says is the amount of horse powers. It's nice that Big Bud is back again. They managed to resurrect the brand again. I'm not an American, but i just love the big American machines, and while New Holland wasn't on this list, they're still my favorite brand
Glad to see that you have a 4994 video to show. The farm here in mid michigan that I still help on had 3 of these in the operation back in the late 90's. They slowly were traded off as parts were becoming harder to find. The last one we had was one of the white ones and had problems with the steering. That one was my favorite. It was finally traded.
Your video goes beyond showcasing machines; it's a powerful narrative on the relentless spirit of farmers and the technology that fuels their journey. Truly gripping!
One of your best videos ever well done on 13 yrs of tractor and farm machinery films, favourite tractor this time Case 4994 simply because the smaller 4890/94 and 4690/94 were sold in the UK where I live and they were just special at the time they were a really big tractor when the UK market was dominated by tractors in the 80hp bracket keep up the great channel
Love all these tractors! Jason, You bring so much knowledge and history to this channel! Explains the 13 years of Bigtractorpower success that it is! Thank You for the content that is bigtractorpower??????
I recently was able to go to Havre, Mt to Big equipment and see the 747 on display there. All anyone can say is Wow that is big!!! Glad I got to see it
Nice display of some great ole tractors. Remember seeing some of these on the bigger Dairy and grain farms in WNY. I’m Heading to Alexander NY for this years Steam Show early September.
You have one of the best channels going and your content is appreciated more than you'll ever understand. You've created a legacy here for all us farm fans. Thank you!
I enjoy your channel. I live in Southern California now. I grew up in Central Illinois and spent many hours in my teen years working in these behemoth Tractors and enjoying the surround sound stereo and engine sounds…. Every American Boy should grow up in tractors
7:16 Case IH marked the 50th anniversary of the Steiger and the 20th anniversary of Magnum impressively by launching a gold-plated edition of their tractors, showcasing their commitment to quality and innovation. This is a memorable milestone in agriculture, affirming Case IH's position in the market.❤
Excellent video once again big T 👍👍👍 the rite earthquake still my favourite followed closely by the big Ford and Steiger. Love them prairie monsters...
Im a little biased but the 747 is the coolest. I remember when it was new. It was actually built for my father’s friends Mike and Elmer Rossi. Very cool!
I love your videos and all the specs you give. It would be awesome if you could include the engine torque ratings too. Those numbers would surely impress!
Awesome video! Love all these old FWD’s. The Rome is an odd-looking tractor…I don’t understand why they needed to make the cab so tall. It looks like if a kid were to make one out of legos.
Excellent video Jason! I enjoy watching Big Tractor Power on UA-cam. I like all of the tractors you showed but my favorites are the Big Bud tractors and the Rite Earthquake tractor. However one of my favorite tractors is the CaseIH Quadtrac and the International Harvester 2+2 tractors and the Challenger rubber track tractors and the John Deere 8RX.
That's what you call 'big tractor power'! I watch your channel since the end of 2015 and always appreciated your videos👍 Thank you for sharing so many different farm machines, it's always great to see👍😁
No engines to me sound as good as a well functioning Detroit Diesel When it comes up to its Working RPM range it has a sound of its own Thanks again Love your shows on technology
Awesome video as always Jason, the ST450 Steiger is my favorite of the monsters in the video and there's still a few of them working here in Western Australia. I drove an AcreMaster for a couple of seasons in the early eighties, they were a little bit light for their horsepower but they were very well made and very easy to maintain and work on Merredin, the town they were built in is only about forty five miles away from where l grew up.
The Tiger IIIs are awesome tractors. That is neat about Acre Master. I hope to feature one here on BTP. I have a 1984 IH Acre Master brochure. I always wondered if IH kept going if they would have imported them to North America.
@@bigtractorpower Gearing up to build them in sufficient numbers would have been an issue but otherwise l'm not sure what their long term plans might have been.

The most powerful tractor I have seen yet is steam driven. And that's because of the genius called cory.
