I have been a Deere guy my whole life so I am partial to them. As I was a plow design engineer for almost 9 years, I was paying close attention to the plows. I especially enjoyed seeing the 2 - JD 3710’s being used. I was the principal design engineer on that plow that was introduced in 1987.
Thank you, very enjoyable footage. My inquiry has nothing to do with farm tractors. Watching these tractors in action got me thinking about when I was in the Army and the 4 wheeled drive tractors they had. Namely the MRS 100, a rigid frame tractor equipped with a 471 Detroit engine some models came with a rear winch and all were equipped with a dozer blade. Pulling a 8 yard scaper. Used in the 82nd Airborne. The Army also had the Clark 290M tractor and the Cat 830, both equipped with dozer blades and 18 yard scaper.
The Case looks naked without a safety cage. Oldschool are the best. We had what was called the MRS in the Seabees. It was a 4wheel drive kinda like the Case except it had more massive tires on it. They were used for pulling scrapers and water tanks. They came with a dual stack Detroit and they were fun to run. Some came without a safety cab and others came with one.
Love the McConnell Mark. Always wanted a MF5200 but no luck so far. Your FW is always great to see and the Tiger 1000 is beautiful. Merry Christmas to you and your family Jason
Always had a soft spot for International Harvester stuff as the first ever tractor i got behind the wheel of was a lovely 'little' IH 454 here in the UK, way back when i was 16 yo well over 40 years ago. Some nice equipment here, all showing that the old skool can still cut it. Nice to see! 😎
It doesn't matter what brand of the old style tractors they were all very well made and lasted for decades but now all modern technology tractors don't last long and need very expensive repairs . The song called the old days were the good ways is very true.
It’s a stand out Classic. In 1964 112 hp was big. The IH 1206 would launch a year later at 112 hp. By 1972 the Case 2470 was top of the line at 176 hp competing against the 175 hp John Deere 7520.
First tractor I worked as a 12yr old was the 6 speed Case 1200, family ended up with 4 of them. Recovered them with 5cyl 2stroke Nissan diesels in 1969/70. Double the power, used to pull 48disc custom built plows and 3 x 28row seeders. We bought the first 900 Versatiles into Western Australia in November 1974. Still got one parked up after about 25k hrs
Thank you Jason for what you do. The last 2 were my favorite and the White plows were awesome has well …… Merry Christmas to all…… Let’s goooooo2025👍👍🙏🏼🙏🏼🇺🇸
😁👍. The ST 450 CAT is a rare one. 20 built. I have filmed one and it appears in the video Rare 4wds at ua-cam.com/video/GDNjOeeeWQE/v-deo.htmlsi=1hSTz-b7-kc_vbXB
Great video...couldn't agree more with your number 1 & 2 picks...my number 3 would've been your number 8. I'd like to see that fwd that was a JD 8070 series, but had the kinze "touch" to it. It looked like how an 8X70 series should've looked!
Can't pick favourite all of those are cool machines 😎 Would be cool to see some Versatile/ Ford/ New Holland Bidirectional action. Also Versatile 500, 555, 756, M.R.S or Co-Op-Volvo would be awesome to see. But really doesn't matter what you film or have filmed, always great videos. 😎👍
Look at that Massey Ferguson in the background of the Steiger 1000 at 11:07 mark of video! The Steiger always looked so mean in the fields around me when I was a kid! Always liked the MF (Our tractor brand) and the Mark that took over MF 4-Wheel tractors! That Copy Cat is the beast!
Sir, anyone who needs high Horsepower tractor like the last 2 should be working a field that you can't see the headland from the center of the field. I grew up in the 60's when the Farmall M and the John Deer 70 were your big tractors. I am not saying those big tractors have place they just need to be in the big fields of the Prairies of the Central and Western United Stats. Thank you for the great videos , God Bless
Merry Christmas! That 1200 at the start makes me want to bring Dad's out for some fieldwork again. Otherwise it's just a snow clearing tractor with a degelman blade on it
I have a full 16 minute video on the 10x 890 including driving it and an interview with the builder at ua-cam.com/video/38Pc-sPE9hg/v-deo.htmlsi=Qg8bXOjQGeYXkv_0
Don't know about you old farmers in the mighty USA. But this old cane farmer here in North Queensland of Australia. Would feel out driving the latest computer run machines. Give me the beautiful old Massey Ferguson, Case, Fiat, Or International machine any day
I would like to see an IH 4100. Ideally, on with the later 28.1x26 tires. Or a 4156 so equipped. A case 1470 with the 28.1x26 tires would be interesting also. When dreaming, a person can wush for more specific.
These older 4wd's are a real treat to watch. Still working hard after all these years!! Thanks Jason 👍🏻.

No offense, but I wouldn't brag about them, I owned 2 and they were horrible, and expensive to use.
1 of those Deere plows was way out of ajustment, The tailwheel wasn't at the bottom of the furrow
Merry Christmas everyone. Awesome classics.
For sure i love all this tractor in this video
Merry Christmas from Scotland 🏴🎄

A Case 1200 is the first 4wd l can remember seeing when l was a kid, great to see one still running and in very good condition.

Where is the Big Bud?
I put many hours on a 4494 when I was a young man. But i like the old Steigers with the green paint.
Thanks for posting quality videos with factual info and most of all, no silly music.
It doesn't matter what brand of the old style tractors they were all very well made and lasted for decades but now all modern technology tractors don't last long and need very expensive repairs . The song called the old days were the good ways is very true.

Way to go Chris. Outside Belleville NY with the 4386.
Same location for the 4494
That Case 1200 Traction King looks like a beast with no enclosed cab. Surprised to see it's only 112 hp.
It’s a stand out Classic. In 1964 112 hp was big. The IH 1206 would launch a year later at 112 hp. By 1972 the Case 2470 was top of the line at 176 hp competing against the 175 hp John Deere 7520.

Not a big tractor but is smile when I plow my garden with my 1953 JD 40 standard and 411 plow. My dad’s 430S frequently comes out to play too
Thank you Jason for what you do. The last 2 were my favorite and the White plows were awesome has well …… Merry Christmas to all…… Let’s goooooo2025👍👍🙏🏼🙏🏼🇺🇸

Great video! You should consider doing a story on the Welker Farms big bud collection after they complete their current project. 👍
Merry Christmas Jason! Awesome video. Thank you for all you do! 🙂
Merry Christmas! It would be awesome to see one of the caterpillar v-8 powered st-450s in 2025 if you can find one to film
😁👍. The ST 450 CAT is a rare one. 20 built. I have filmed one and it appears in the video Rare 4wds at ua-cam.com/video/GDNjOeeeWQE/v-deo.htmlsi=1hSTz-b7-kc_vbXB

My dad was an Oliver man, but we did not have a 4WD one. If you could feature an Oliver 4WD in 2025 that would be great! Merry Christmas!!
2655! That’d be great!

Farming with the old iron is the way to go

The two last ones,are beast!!!;
That first tractor is certainly unique.
The ford was my favorite
Wonderful video!!!

That Ford disc had to be even more rare than the tractor!
Zielony Steiger jest super fajny wygląd i ta moc robi wrażenie

Seeing the White 4-325 would be cool

Merry Christmas, Jason! And is that 7520 Farming With Duffy Ag's big horse?
Merry Christmas to you and your family, videos are awesome 😊😊😊😊.
Good looking old case 1200. Not many left in any kind of shape.

Merry Christmas! That 1200 at the start makes me want to bring Dad's out for some fieldwork again. Otherwise it's just a snow clearing tractor with a degelman blade on it
Id love to see a more up close feature on that 10x 890. Im a fan of custom builds. We did it out of necessity when we were poor in my younger days.
I have a full 16 minute video on the 10x 890 including driving it and an interview with the builder at ua-cam.com/video/38Pc-sPE9hg/v-deo.htmlsi=Qg8bXOjQGeYXkv_0

Was hoping to see that massey at 11:06 in the field!!
Don't know about you old farmers in the mighty USA. But this old cane farmer here in North Queensland of Australia. Would feel out driving the latest computer run machines. Give me the beautiful old Massey Ferguson, Case, Fiat, Or International machine any day

Very Yankee stuff..
Merry Christmas BTP and fellow viewers!! I'd have to say the 4W-305 and the Steiger 1000 were tide for my favorites in this video.
Allis Chalmers 4W-305👍👍👍
More on the CASE 2670 I use to drive one in 70 & 80 in Norfolk England.
I have one 2670 filmed on a scraper pan. I hope to catch one in the field.
👏👏👍👍👌👌🚜🚜🙏🙏🇧🇷
Love to see more on the tiger 1000.....is it a green 9190?
Looks like that White moldboard plow is giving the JD 7520 about all it can handle
Hello! Whole lot of old but strong "horses"!
Hi Jason, did you make a vid of a corn grower tilling recently planted corn to break up a crust ? If so what is the title please?
Like to see the 4100 international harvester working in the field how mean are still in good condition
I would like to see an IH 4100. Ideally, on with the later 28.1x26 tires. Or a 4156 so equipped. A case 1470 with the 28.1x26 tires would be interesting also. When dreaming, a person can wush for more specific.
how about the massey fergurson 4840 and the 4880
Are you gonna do a full video on the custom tiger 1000?
Yes on January 17.
I had a IH 4366. *maybe it was 86?* darn good tractor. But loud..
Very cool. I own a 4786.
4-270 White please!
Was that 4w-305 repowered? How does it have muffler off to the side and not the 2 going through the hood?
I was wondering the same thing.
3 0 5.
Alice chalmers
Do you ever film in Alabama or Virginia?
Gotta love the ole Classic 4WD tractors. NOT a fan of those LOOOONG Poughs thogh
still waiting for someone to retro a set of quad tracks on an older 4wd, would be partial to a SuperBeast Quad Track
I know a farm that put Massey combine steel tracks on a 4586 to make a tile tractor. It’s on my filming list to catch in the field.
