What i am most excited about when flyout releases is the endless customizability you can have. You can modify every single piece of non-computer piece in the plane, (or even all pieces), and the game still doesn't have issues running. The devs of this game and their product is absolutely pulchritudinous.
Ik ive been waiting for 3 months and am so excited! The reason this game is so good is because it has been in dev for over 7 years, I can't believe the dedication the developer has has!
I actually really enjoyed the flying part at the end it gave me a nice idea of what flying it myself in game would be like. But i would also enjoy have a video explaining the basic mechanics of manipulating shapes and engine specs and assigning components roles and keybinds, not sure but the shape manipulation looks similar to sprocket.
Couldn’t you potentially 3D scan the plane in the editor? Make screenshots from every angle: top, bottom, rear, right, left, front, front right 3/4, front left 3/4, rear right 3/4, rear left 3/4 Then stitch those together in a 3D software, make it an STL file and export it to your printer? I’m not am expert in either of these subjects, so don’t take my word for it, but it might just work
I would always build complex fighter jets in KSP, some of which would take several hours, if not days to complete. I loved KSP because of its physics, though it always had its occasional kraken or two. Now that I see a game dedicated to this? Yeah, it's on my list for sure. I look forward to it.
Hi Messier, What if airliners really got competitive? In other words, what if airliners decided to dogfight each other? Could you create a passenger plane that can dogfight? I love your vids, keep it up!
I just found your content today, and you have quickly become a favorite content creator of mine. I worked on military aircraft all my adult life. After retiring from the military, I completed a degree in engineering, and to this day I "work on jets" every day. The information provided, production value and efficient use of time make your content really stand out.
What an amazing testament to all of your designs so far, as well as the complexity of the game engine. So many possibilities with FlyOut, and I can't wait to see what the thousands of users can come up with upon the game's launch!
I can't wait for the game to be released! I've been watching your videos for a couple months now and I am very excited to soon get a chance to be apart of the community. Keep up the good work, man, I can't wait to see more content!
No, the F18 is terrible, the CF18, now there’s a beast. Note: There is next to no difference between the two besides a spotlight and slight differences in modernization
Did you know that US military plane names have meanings? For example: A: Air to ground B: Bomber C: Cargo E: AWACS F: Air to air L: Tanker H: Helicopter V: VTOL So your plane would be an Air to air Tanker.
F-111, F-117, and the F-105 kinda muddy the waters. I think the name takes inspiration from the LWF program (though the F-16 of course is just the F-16)
@@RhodokTribesman those were from before the tri-service designation rework, so not really valid. and plus, the f-117 just had the fighter designation so testpilots would be more interested in flying it
Oh wow, how far you’ve come. I remember watching your first AI video way back. To see where you are now is amazing. Speaking of amazing, I think the fighter should be produced IRL. It looks like a mix between the MiG-29 and F/A-18 with some of the angles making it look similar to the F-22 or SU-57.

I honestly want to get this to make some fictional aircraft for ace combat, as there are some nations that should have their own aviation industry in strangereal that seemingly don't.
Finally getting to play this game is going to be a dream come true. I'm going to be that weird guy who makes Seaplanes. Challenge to you my friend, with the recent announcement regarding the revival of the Catalina, I'd be quite interested to see a detailed modernized flying boat in Flyout.
Amazing work as always, the content just gets better and better with you huh, keep up the good work and don't forget to take breaks! Can't have my favourite flyout channel getting burnt out
M82 you’ve made a beaut of an aircraft, I’m look forward to what you’re gonna create when fly out goes live. Have fun and continue making beautiful aircraft.
I'd love to see your take on a MIG 31 or some sort of super fast large interceptor, maybe something like the F 15 but maybe ad in some of your over the Top stuff that makes your channel so fun. What I mean by that is like a top speed goal or a rate of climb goal.
ive been watching since the very first flyout video and id never heard of you before that but man i gotta say its an awesome journey to watch this channel grow and be a part of it
Hey. Love your builds, keep up with the amazing content, and keep up with the UA-cam grind! You will make it! *But besides that,* I have a cool, goofy, (and extremally impractical) idea for an aircraft. My idea would be a delivery plane that delivers packages to other aircrafts IN THE AIR. Basically Amazon Prime for billionaires in a private jet. It would have to be able to carry a lot of cargo, *have a way to connect to other aircrafts and deliver the packages (via a tube or something),* and be fast, while also being fuel efficient (optional). Love your vids! Stay awesome!
Elevators do pull impressive amounts of positive AOA in unstable aircraft. The ones I've built in KSP for me to fly often need to have less relaxed stability than I would like because FAR won't give them over 40 degrees of control authority and you can't have leading and trailing edge flaps on allmoving surfaces, or at least it's more complex than single part.
video idea: use classified gov documents to make an exact replica of some plane like i dont know, f22, maybe the f-117 night hawk, FA 18 hornet if you want but the most important part you also put all documents on screen so we know its accurate
I would call you a (in a respectful way) nerd for all the terms you use, but i cant really say that because i am really interested in this kind of content. maybe when the game releases, make a tutorial? Always enjoying your content!
This is a beautiful video, the jet in beautiful, the montage is beautiful (great music choice), and you are incredible being able to build this. Thank you.
Hey could you also make some tutorial videos explaining how to get started in flyout and explaining some of the mechanics like how to make an engine, and some basics of aerodynamics? I think it would really help the community especially when the game comes out.
Hornet, flanker, and a little bit of a viper Looks cool. You might try making those air intakes a bit bigger and rectangular similar to FA 18e/f variant. I don't know much about aircraft designing but It just looks cool
Welp, I need this in my life now. Ive been working on a little side project and I have a ton of Aircraft I could make in this game so I can have *physical* examples of these aircraft :D

I've always thought that all of the planes you made looked weirdly shaped, but this has convinced me that flyout is gonna be a smash hit
Well that’s cuz messier is a fan of oddly shaped planes
This is interesting and quite new from you, i like it a lot (the hyper realistic part)
Nice build!
I hope we can get those little cockpit assets (radar and so on) from you when the game releases.
honestly Flyout is exactly what I've always wanted out of a vehicular design game, definitely getting this day one
When you graduate from SimplePlanes and now play ComplexPlanes
Severely underrated comment.
Saw this game and thought to myself: 'damn, the military got a cool new method of drafting aerospace engineers'
This would be really cool to have the models be able to be exported for 3d printing and making RC models...
