You are 100% the reason i found this game. For real, this is where i learned about flyout. I picked it up a couple of months ago, but haven't had a chance to really get into it yet. I've been designing (digital) aircraft for quite a long time now...started in (heavily modded) KSP...did some of my favorite builds on that... Then, i moved on to Juno: New Origins (if you haven't checked it out, you should. It's something of a cross between flyout and KSP). Did some pretty cool builds there too. I'd love to really sink my teeth into flyout, but i gotta be in the right frame of mind for it....and i gotta have the time. Sadly, those two conditions seldom overlap anymore. One day....
i was in this spot for a while, i realised that any time you do have is worth using for something you enjoy, and the best way to get into the right frame of mind is to just start
I’m so glad I found this channel and this game. I can’t wait for it to come out soon. I know my grandpa would have loved this game as he really loved planes.
I never saw that first video you made but damn it's really cool to see how you not only improve on that design but also integrate it with your previous one (the Basilisk) that said I think it would make more sense for a trainer for the Basilisk to also have two engines but I don't know how much that technically matters You have come a long way, and pretty quickly too, although I've only really been around long enough to see your improvement in interior detail lmao first video I saw I think was the flying nuclear aircraft carrier y'know I might not've bothered trying this thing out when the game is released but since you mentioned it I guess I will xd 14:25 "in this configuration" yes missing the main wings is just an alternate configuration of the aircraft 15:19 hey man it got back on the ground without exploding, so it's a good landing
You are the reason I’m so damn stoked for Flyout mate, also, anyone have any ideas for what I should make when this thing releases? I’m wanting to make competitors to real aircraft and follow the specifications as best I can
Try making a stealth based fighter that must have bombing capability and dogfighting capability with at minimum a 20mm gun with 600 rounds of ammunition. While maintaining the stealth characteristics. Let’s say a minimum of 4 250lb retarded bombs and a max of 1 1000lb laser guided bomb

I love your videos because having them on the background while i do something completely unrelated is very funny. Like i'm playing fifa and i hear you say "then we add some juxtapositional canards to increase the angle of attack of our airframe" and i'm just going "yeeeeeee i like your funny words magic man"
Because of this channel I've gotten invested into Flyout, even designing diagrams for my own aircraft I plan to build upon release. Can't wait for its release, and thanks M82!
One of the only reasons I ever wanted kerbal space program was to build planes. It's nice to finally have someone make a more detailed version like sproket for planes. I can't wait till the game comes out. Love your vids
Messier you should be exceptionally proud of what you've created, and you should be keenly aware that your ability to hop on the AI train and ride it to fame was a beautiful maneuver, you've slotted into the youtube community and I hope you stay for a long time.
It's crazy to think this is your 100th(2nd) plane already, then again, I haven't really watched regularly since the sky-cruise-ship and air-carrier. Funny to see how well that thing flies without wings.
I'd love to see more visuals on what you're talking about when explaining the builds. I don't know much about plane parts or designs so seeing images or a definition of a Lerx or whatever part it is you are talking about show up on screen could really help visualize and understand what you are saying.
Hey, I think it would be a cool idea to make a unmanned fighter aircraft, whith advanced missile systems and guns, and twin boom (because it's just mandatory). Also good job on the plane, it looks really good. Its been a journey from that video to now.
i remember watching your first video on the day it was uploaded and thought that was a really cool plane. didn't realize your skill would suddenly start rising.
been here since video 1! keep doing what you're doing, but I can't help to wonder, is this your first YT Channel project? if so, you're really good at presenting and keeping the video pace optimal
Imagine you go on your daily training and the instructor forget to turn on the G-limiter and you casually pulls 22G and still fly the plane with no wings
I would say in KSP 1.3.1 the mod environment was just about perfect for building planes. I downloaded a ton of mods and did some kit bashing until i got a very convincing F-16 out of it.
@@PlayerCarter.You are right, but it was what i had at that point in time. It is unfortunately still the best i have today. Where can i donate to the Dev's Caffeine fund?
I really wish there existed a game something similar to automation: the car company tycoon but with designing Flights and selling them. I hope one day it would be possible. Flyout looks amazing though. 😻
This seems like a game that I would love, but it seems like it is more a 3D modeling program than game. The learning curve seems like it would be incredibly daunting. Is it as hard as it looks in the time lapses?

I know that looking at your early projects may make you "cringe" a little. For me though, doing the same brings back mostly a lot of nostalgia. I have been trying to make planes on X-Plane 9 since like 2010 (I still suck compared to you). This game reminds me a lot of X-Plane, would be nice if you tried it out although you probably don't have time for that. The demo version lets you fly 10 or 15 mins but the plane editor is unlimited.
I have an idea for a video, if u would like to take it on. Yk what the world is lacking? A cheap 5th gen. The plane is question should be small, easy to mantain, light and fast. It can carry at least 2 AAM and 2 AGM and be able to take off from rough terrain
Wonderful. So, is structural integrity a thing now? Because when I asked in the official discord few weeks ago, they said parts only break when they hit something such as ground.
I remember this and I remember be mildly infuriated by the fact that there was no air intakes.
Yeah, but KSP firespitter/interstellar fuel switch taught me that you can just bring a few canisters of compressed "Intake Atmosphere" with you.
