This new era really excites me, the absolute change in the theme, how much dedication you put on every scenario, video, song and the fact that you're creating a whole backstory for the new album. SIO have always been a pretty diverse band when it comes to their sound tbh, I don't think this album is a departure as much as it is a natural progression of their already constantly-shifting style
So, theory time: From a lore perspective, this seems to be the part of the story where they realize how much control they've given up. At first it's just on stage, but then their real life begins to be invaded and disturbed, only to find out their own physical actions are even being hijacked by the faceless higher ups. They're trying to enjoy their new life of fame but find they can't because it's no longer under their control. The image they give off publicly is nothing more than a "projected" image that you're wanted to see. My personal take on this song is that it makes me think about somebody who projects their own version of you onto you instead of getting to know who you really are and isn't willing to properly talk out their problems with you so they choose to be angry and hateful instead.
I mean within the lore and the ARG, the Midnight Society did say something about subjects possibly gaining sentience, and that appeared to be happening once in a while in here, as well as the fact that it connected back to Skeleton.
It continues the theme of Artist Vs Industry that Skeleton started. Skeleton, at least my take on it, was about them having to choose whether to hold onto their morals and values, the things that make them unique, and stay exactly where they are or merely become empty shells for people to paint into something new and popular: skeletons to be built on. It's about keeping individuality or gaining success, and I think they've done a pretty good job of portraying it both through the new style of music and the brighter costume choices, something that heavily contrasts every other point in their career
This can also be linked all the way back to Hypnotized with Cody standing in front of the mirror. What stands in front of the mirror is what *_we_* see; however the one Cody sees is *_himself_* trapped into a fabricated vessel (think of it as himself trapped in the upside down). We can also connect Hourglass into this with Cody being trapped in the hourglass and scared for he knows time is running out (no control over himself means things can go wrong from there). Furthermore, those two music videos have the same grim look to them whilst both Skeleton and Projector (and the entirety of Elsewhere I presume) are bathed with ludicrous colours of neon. Agreeing with Oran, it indeed contrasts to the vibe they had since, I don't know, Horrible Kids? Not just that, if we were to go back with "Cody seeing himself differently in the mirror", "Killer in the Mirror" enters the chat. Having no sense of self-identity even after looking at yourself at the mirror is *_indeed_* deadly because you're forcing yourself to look like someone you're not to the general public. Sure, the reception is positive but are you really feeling it? Are you happy with it? I'm very curious to see what type of lore they'll come up with Elsewhere because from the looks of it, with the "multiple universes getting mashed together", their old works might make a cameo (or even to the point where they're part of the story but that's just me reaching too far lol).

Not only catchy, but also a coherent story that I can actually understand. Additionally, you rely on lyrics, rather than background, which is something I really enjoy. The makeup and acting were also fantastic and the camera work is amazing!
