@@Dildonion Yeah well he's the president and he's winning on policy after policy. Ethics and all this high-minded talk means jack-squat in the real world. When you cut away the saccharine Mister Rogers persona, you know that reality is nothing like what the video says. Because if it were, then people would all live hunky-dory lives and the world doesn't work that way.

    • @SamianHQuazi

@@Dildonion He's not responsible for a naturally-occurring pathogen. And what was Trump supposed to do? Follow Fauci and order a total shutdown of the country? The liberals would call him a dictator - oh wait, they already do! He did a great job ending the failed Iran nuclear deal, and they're about to go broke and collapse because of the reimposed sanctions. So Iran can be free of the mullahs. China is losing because they had to sell Tik Tok spyware away and now have to buy our country's farm products - we aren't going to get beat up by foreign governments, nor taken advantage of. And his newest SCOTUS nominee, whoever she is, will get rid of Obamacare. What matters in life is winning. Nobody cares about the path, everyone only wants the ultimate outcome. It doesn't matter how you did in the season, what matters if you can perform to win in the playoff finals.

SamianHQuazi Thanks for asking everyone in the world and letting us know they unanimously agreed on what they want in life.
Since you brought up what’s “realistic” though, what exactly defines the ultimate outcome in life? There isn’t one. As long as you chase that ideal you’ll always want something more.
Winning matters to you, that’s fine. If that makes you happy, I hope you accomplish what you want to. But that doesn’t mean that everyone else has to care about it. Plenty of people live their life just doing the right thing, and are perfectly happy with that.

This is my first time watching a "Dad, how do I video?" And it surprised me, I was surprise at the strong, deep sensation I felt in my chest. My father was not absent physically, but he was... twisted, mentally speaking. He would lie and say hurtful things, just because he enjoyed having power over people. He was emotionally damaging. So much so, that I spent 25 years of my life thinking that I hated people, when I was actually just afraid. I feared getting hurt by people, because a person that should have loved me and cared for me, he hurt me. And now, just now, after so much therapy and medications (I have depressive states, and anxiety episodes) I am starting to realise how wonderful and amazing people can be. People such as this man, whom I have never met, and who looks in the camera and calls me "kid" and tells me, with his dad voice, that he loves me... and I have tears in my eyes. I am so grateful to be alive. I am so grateful this man is alive, he exists and he is good and tries to spread love and wholesomeness and thanks to him I am a little bit better, a little bit mended. By every act of love I have ever experienced, even this one. Randomly. From a complete stranger. In a language that is not my mother tongue. But this is... so, so important. Thank you. I am grateful. Thank you.

Find the good people and dont feel bad to keep away from the bad people. Him saying hey kids is like a big hug i love it. Sometimes we all need that feeling of love and warmth. ❤

You'll be a great dad. The simple fact that you want to learn to be a good father, means a lot.
I'm 35, and lucky to still have my dad. Fatherhood is can also be simple things; telling stories before bedtime, taking a car ride once in a while, doing stupid stuff with me when I was a kid. Being human, being wrong, not knowing something is okay too. When I first started going to bars, he told me "Call me anytime you need a ride home and I'll be there. If you call me at 4am I'll be sleeping and grumpy, but I'll be there.". This is some of the stuff I'll remember forever.

I definitely needed to hear this. As a grown adult male, I have been dealing with a porn addiction fo the majority of my life. It's lead to some questionable decisions in my life, and I need to start holding myself accountable and be a man proud to look himself in the mirror. I just allowed the excuse everyone was doing it, but it put some ripples in relationships that need to be mended.

My father is a narcissist who is the most shallow, least integrity person I know. He will lie, cheat, steal, etc to make himself look like a hero/the "good guy". As I get older, the veil is coming off of him and I'm seeing just how many lies he's told me.
I never want to be like him in any way shape or form. I'm distancing my name as far from his "legacy" as I can. I stick to my word, even if it's uncomfortable at times. Everyone I know knows me as a reliable trustworthy person and him as no more than a con artist. I hope to one day be a better father than he ever could.

My father is the exact same way. He has blamed every hardship from my parents' marriage on my mother, and blamed every act of violence that he has done, on her. He ALWAYS twists the truth to his favor, and has convinced a whold church to take his side against my mother. Thankfully, we found a new home church that supports us.

I’m trying to let go of some things my dad told me or did that affected, to be fair he didn’t do them with bad intentions, but my anger won’t go away so easily, so I’m trying to focus that it doesn’t matter anymore whose faults some of my defects are. These last 6 years have been really hard on me. I was married 30 years to a man that was never angry. He also wasn’t home much the last 10 years after he got addicted to his prescription pain meds. I say all that to say you don’t want to harbor feeling against your Dad. Just forgive him, put it down to he wasn’t smart enough to know better and you are a better man. I am praying for you.

The most passion I’ve ever heard from my father was when he told me to leave town; but hearing this gem of a stranger teach me things that I’ve had to teach myself for so long, and to hear that he’s proud of me, has brought tears to my eye every time, and I have no idea how to feel about all this. A few months ago, I made a mistake at my work that could have costed us everything. The biggest thing was, 'where was my integrity?'. I had to reflect and I came up with something that made sense to me: Integrity is like a mirror. You want to look in that mirror and say, I'm proud of what I've done; not avoid the mirror out of shame for what you've done.

When he said “I love you” at 0:13 my heart just exploded? Okay wow, this is the most confused I’ve ever felt, in a good way. Because I’m extremely happy and feel fuzzy yet wanted to cry at the same time (happy tears, I think). My own dad has never told me he loves me, but I never really yearned for it, never felt a loss for not having his constant presence let along his love. I don’t quiet yet understand why, but when he said “I love you” I got a sense of immense happiness.
Honestly, I’ve been sitting here for that last 15 minutes trying to understand this and I’m the type of person that knows what they want and usual what they feel, but I’m at a loss when it came to this. I’m just going to let this sink in for a day or two and maybe I’ll be able to comprehend it.

1:09 the timing of this quote (and video) is insane. I’m literally watching this with tears in my eyes. More often than not doing the right thing is way harder than staying in a particular situation and let it rule you

I have a father, I'm not going to pretend like I don't, he's here with me & always has been. But he was never there FOR me like I needed him to be, or when I wanted him to be. I attempted suicide 3 times and have had suicidal thoughts since I was 12, and part of that was because I never feel loved, I never feel wanted, or useful. So I cried when you said "I love you" at the start, I replayed it an uncountable amount of times. I never knew how much I needed to hear that.
Thank you. Thank you for being there for me.

I have my loving Asian dad in South Korea. But i dont know why I bursted out crying as soon as I watched your video. I just had an job interview (I don’t think I did well) but it’s been a really tough journey of getting a job and I just want to give up. I wasn’t able to share much about this struggle with my parents. This afternoon, Your words and encouragements, although you meant to convey the message with the different intent, kinda touched my heart. I still love my real dad lol but i just wanted to leave a comment to say thanks for making this channel. Please keep upload UA-cam video for us!
(P.s you channel was introduced in korean instagram and I simply typed your channel name out of curiosity)
