Hello Miss Molly another awesome video, it’s me Eric Mackenzie from Ontario, you deserve that special somebody, I would sweep you off your feet if you would ever come back to Ontario... you’re 26 and I’m 36. I’m currently in law school at college and ran in the federal election last October, I’ve got big goals, even with being blind with an eye disease like yourself I’m still pushing back against the discrimination we face every day to become a great lawyer and politician one day. I’m only 5 foot six so not much taller than you, and very muscular!!! My vision is reverse from yours, you see straightahead where I see peripherally, but that still doesn’t stop me from driving a boat or snowmobile, LOL!!! You must remember, we met a few times at the ride for site as well at Lake Joseph... you are so amazing Miss Molly, Megan and I are so very proud of you how successful you have become, keep up the amazing work!!! PS. You and your Family are Irish and my mother and I are Scottish, not too far from each other in Britain
When I found this channel a couple of years ago, I was totally unaware and uneducated about blindness, the blind community and disability in general. I have learnt so much about blind stereotypes and love your storytime and fashion videos. Thank you for teaching me about all this.
Same!! There was a blind girl in my school and I didn't know how to interact with her really. I was scared of doing something wrong. Molly you taught me soooo much. Unfortunately she left our school (she was a grade higher) but now I will be going to that school next year can't wait to hopefully make a new friend. 😁
Same, but Molly’s here, we got nothing to fear cause we all learned something. I didn’t know practically anything about blindness, and I am a little ashamed of that. But now we got this.
Ditto! I dated a guy who swore he was legally blind in one eye for almost a year. I gave him so much shit for it, didn’t believe him, felt he was just saying it to get “special treatment” from me. Since finding Molly I’m disgusted at my behavior about that towards him. It’s been years since we’ve spoken, didn’t end on bad terms just grew apart. I struggle with the “is it too late to apologize for my ignorant hurtful disgusting behavior?”
I was diagnosed with Tourette’s at 6 years old. They used to be vocal (sound effects) when I was younger, then transitioned into motor, and now it’s barely noticeable and no one believes me when I say I have Tourette’s. I’m noticing symptoms in my oldest son (4) and it worries me because it tends to be more severe in boys.. but if my kids do inherit it at least they have a mom who understands unlike I did growing up!
I'm pretty sure you can cure TS and all other medical conditions with a biofeedback machine. As soon as they open shipping from China, I'll be buying one.
I have a very similar situation! When I was younger I would clear my throat loudly and constantly, and during tests in elementary school teachers would give me cough drops to try to get me to be quiet during tests. I was even sent to the nurse once for a "cough" and the nurse told me "It sounds forced." and I was so confused because I wasn't forcing it! I wasn't trying to do it! Now looking back it makes sense. Now-a-days as a 19 year old I only have facial tics and the occasional throat clearing. People don't believe me when I say I have Tourette's.
Hannah W I started having ticks the past year. How did you stop? I’ve been under extreme stress since the time it started. I’m sure it’s related. I can’t sleep without medication either, it lasts for days until I get so exhausted I can :-
You are a hundred percent right, but we are all different, even if we try to be someone, we might not be them. Although I would like to be more like Molly.
@Agnes Gecsey Be yourself. Don’t try to be someone else. Be more like good people but don’t try to be them. Be confident in yourself and love yourself. I should take my own advise but I don’t.
I really feel this way with my Great Aunt. She even tells people we're soul mates because we're so alike and typically get along really well. I took care of her when she fell and broke her hip and now she's teaching me all her cooking secrets. She also refers to my fiance and I as her "kids". When we come over she goes "Oh! My kids are here!" And it's kind of crazy because I was close to her when I was little, but then we moved away and I didn't even see her but maybe a handful of times over like 5 years. And the last several years after I moved back we've really bonded and she has helped and supported me after losing my Nana (her sister), who I was EXTREMELY close to.
The fact that you felt so comfortable with dating someone who also has a disability just shows how much you truly don’t care and it shouldn’t matter 😁🌻
Aw, Molly, that's such a sweet story, and it reminds me of my husband and me. I'm severely visually impaired and my husband has an anatomical speech impediment. He has no folds in his voice box and has to concentrate in order to control the air flow when he speaks, or else he has disfluencies. I think our dynamic works because I am patient enough to wait to hear what he has to say, and he knows I need him to talk to me, and there's a lot of care between us. We've been married for twelve years and I wouldn't want to be quarantined with anyone else!
I'm 23, and there's 14 years between me and my boyfriend. We've been together for nearly 4 years now and lived together for a year. Its really no different than dating someone the same age as long as you have shared interests and respect each other
Experienced this. He was obsessed with me, well not really me but the perfect version of me that he wanted me to be. Ended up with him harassing me and him getting blocked on every app and device possible.
I would love to see you collab with Jessica Kellgren-Fozard! Maybe a sort of blind versus deaf comparison video? You're both such beautiful cheerful people
Seconding what the previous person said, she's already done a video like that (I'd love a second one, but you know how youtubers are about repeating content...). HOWEVER, they could definitely make a collab about something else! Maybe fashion as a disabled person, since they're both such great fashionistas in their own way? I think that'd be really cool.

"You wish you could fall for somebody that you just can't" I really needed to hear this, I'm dating a guy right now but after having dated him for a few months I've discovered that I'm probably a lesbian rather than a pansexual like I had originally thought. But I still love him in a way, I can just tell it isn't the same as the way he loves me, and I'm just so scared because I do still love him in a way of course so I don't want to hurt him. This is just one of those things I really needed to hear.
Please do what you feel is best for you. Some people may be hurt, but it will pass, and ultimately, all you have is you. Sorry for the unsolicited comment.
Hi Molly! My name is Hannah and I'm a wheelchair user with cerebral palsy. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing the ups and downs of your story. When I was in school (I'm 21) it was very hard for me to find mentors with disabilities that acknowledged the hard parts of a life like ours. Everyone disabled that I talked to was so upbeat (ex. You can do anything! Your disability is such a gift!) that I felt like there was something wrong with me for YEARS. Thank you for sharing your journey and helping others get a more balanced picture of disability. I'd love to meet you some day.
When you said you dated someone with Tourette's, I screamed. Because I have TS! I'm so glad you made this video and it gives me hope that I will be able to find love :)
Hi Molly! I am happy to watch your informational and inspirational videos. As a 45 year old male with Mixed Connective Tissue Disorder, I've only dated one person, also with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, in the past 9 years. My disease contains primarily Systemic Lupus and Scleroderma. As you describe with your blindness, I hear the statement "you don't look sick" almost every time someone gets to know me. My disease symptoms cause me to experience a painful numbness all over, and sometimes the Lupus Fog makes me sound drunk when I talk. As with you, there is no cure. There are medications that do help with some of the symptoms, but for me, just enough to function, and that can change each day. People see a healthy 45 year old male and call me lazy, weak, and faking it to get disability. I've never really let other people's opinions of me bring me down. Dating seems harder because most people can't fathom what I go through day to day unless they too go through it. Otherwise, it ends up being more based on pity, which I have no need for. The way I look at dating is that if I find the right person, they will be able to accept that I am limited by how I am feeling each day. Each person out there has someone made for them. Thank you for sharing your journey and experiences! You are an inspiration to not just blind people, but everyone that lives with a disability! Give Gallop a hug for me!
I have some recommendations for you. I followe(d) several ppl with mixed-connective tissue disorder and similar invisible diseases. One is Jaquie who sadly passed away last year. She blogged daily about her illnesses and her guide dog and her "adventures." #chronicallyjaquie. Also, one of my favorite persons on the planet is Jessica Kellgren-Fozard. She lives in Brighton, UK with her wife, Claudia. She loves vintage fashion, so is always a treat to see. But, she does not do "fashion and make-up videos" very often. Hers focus on LGBT, history, and illnesses.
I used to Co-Moderate a Facebook Autoimmune Illness support group. That is where I met the woman I dated. As Molly put it, "Right person, Wrong time". I like educating people on how my disease affects my daily life, and offering support to people with a wide range of challenges in life. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for people with my diagnosis to develop internal organ failure as it attacks healthy tissue. I have lost a few good friends in my group to this disease and pray for remission in all of my fellow "Lupies". I love Molly's passion to educate and inspire! Not to mention, she makes me laugh, and that is always good medicine for all!
that 'looking for my next soulmate' thing made me smile, its so easy to think you've lost someone special after a breakup but that phrase tells you its ok because you'll find another special person
Hey, I just wanted to let you know how cute that top looks with your hair color and the lipstick shade. Also, I'm really glad you shared this story because it was super interesting to hear and get to learn about your experiences.
When I first started watching you on here I was 13-14 and I didn't know anything about a guide dogs or someone being blind, I have learned so much about a lot of things from watching your channel and I wanted to say thank you for doing what you do to educate others
I've loved all your previous hair colors, but this one is definitely my favorite 😍 the gray looks amazing now that it's a bit darker and with warmer reflexes. you did a great job dying it!
Even though I haven't dated much, I've also been in a similar boat socially speaking, trying to explain my Traumatic Brain Injury condition, and my conversion disorder. I often use you as an example Molly, (I hope you don't mind) because my health conditions are invisible. Interesting you're talking about tourettes, because one of my good friends has visual symptoms and we both joke about how we are neurological disorder buddies (conversion disorder is neurological). Thanks for another great video Molly, from a Canadian viewer! :)
I absolutely love watching your videos! Having many chronic illnesses and a disability myself, they have really helped me to realize that I can do anything that I put my mind too! Through watching your videos I have also realized how similar we are. I am also very short (5ft and 1/2 an inch, and yes that half an inch absolutely counts), I have and love tattoos as well, I am very interested in sustainability and being environmentally friendly, and I have struggled over the years with many mental and physical struggles due to having chronic illnesses and a disability. I just wanted to say thank you so much for being you and for making these your videos and sharing your story with others. It has certainly been extremely inspiring to me, as I’m sure it has been with many others! 💕
I have quiet BPD and have always felt insecure and ashamed of it, some days it's absolutely debilitating, other days people tell you that mental illness is not a disability, but seriously watching your videos makes me so much more confident and open about it! You are so sweet and positive, thank you
So interesting fact I learned in my Psychopathology Class (Learning about the different disorders in the DSM). For most folks with Touretes, their tics do not include blurting out curse words. Its actually very uncommon.
Hey Molly! You should do a video on chronic illness and invisible disabilities. As someone with multiple chronic illness and a invisible disability, there isn’t really people on UA-cam that talk about this and I think you should!!!
There are lots of ppl who talk about this! 1. Jessica Kellgren-Fozard 2. #chronicallyjaquie (who sadly, died last year) 3. #squirmyandgrubs 4. #therawlife 5. #thedrewlynch
“Everyone has multiple soulmates” I absolutely love that. I always thought that there was only one special person for each individual, and that has led me to being stuck in a relationship where I thought he was the one but now I don’t, BUT he thinks I’m the one for him and leaving him would literally destroy him. I will have to find my own way out, but I just wanted to say that I loved hearing you say those words. Thank you.
My fiancè has CRD. I got ask the question "how can you date a nearly blind person?" A LOT!!! just think about it. If you are in a relationship think about what you love about your partner. If one point is not "bc he can see" you can love someone who can't see..
You have no idea how much I needed this Molly. Like I've binge watched all your vids the entire day! loving the tik tok lives as well at the moment. xx
I have schizoaffective disorder (schizophrenia with bipolar disorder) and guys have always felt really weird about it. They try to just avoid the topic and I have to hide my symptoms as best as possible. Luckily I found my husband and he's really supportive. We actually just did a video on my channel where I interview him on how it is being with someone with a disability.
Molly Burke I am HIV positive. And I want to say again thank you so very much for sharing the story with everyone with the HIB community and with people who do not know about HIV. I want to say thank you again. Everything you hear on with the HIV was perfect and accurate. Thanks again
This made me really happy, 1 because it's a Molly Burke video and two because it made me think about how my friends I have Invisible disabilities and how we get along and go out and about with it.
I have Tourette’s and was diagnosed when I was 7/8. Mine is a mix between Vocal and physical. Many of mine cause me a decent amount of physical pain and a lot more that is to complicated to describe. I’m so glad you did a video like this
I get along perfectly with my boyfriend because we understood what it’s like to both have mental illnesses. I have anxiety & PTSD and he has autism + anxiety.
This is why being open to new experiences and dating at least some is so beneficial for both. It's always great to give it a chance if you can before settling down. ♡
This video really helped me because you truly can find multiple soulmates. Not all of them will be intimate. Thank you, Molly, for being amazingly you ❤️
I love to see videos like this because I’m so passionate about being friends with others with disabilities since I have epilepsy myself. A lot of people don’t want to connect with those who have a disability but I feel special connections really happen when disabled people get together and form friendships. I met my husband on tinder and he was born half blind so when we first met we openly talked about our differences even though they’re not noticeable to most people.
You are such a sweet person! It's beautiful when you smile while you talk and just beam with a positive light within you! Loving all of these storytime videos! 💜
Hi Molly, I have an amazing Daughter, but if I had another Daughter I’d want her to be just like you! You are SO SPECIAL, SO INSPIRING, SO LOVING, & SO COOL just to name a few things! You keep doing you, never change! Kudos to your Mom & Dad for raising You to be independent in every way! ❤️
That's honestly so sweet! I wish more people would be open to dating a disabled person or even befriending one. I've always had a hard time befriending people and go beyond just being acquaintances or classmates or so because I am disabled and have a service dog (I do have a small handful of good friends now, but it took me quite long and I've lost many because of my disabilities). I've also never had a true relationship because I quote ' no one wants to date the disabled girl' is something that is sadly said or at least thought quite a lot in my country. I have a few disabled friends too and they all say that as well. In the US the stigma of dating a disabled person seems a lot less and it frustrates me so much knowing I will likely not find someone willing to even give it a shot.
Yes, you will find someone! check out #squirmyandgrubs. They are an inter-abled couple up in MN. Shane has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Hannah is blonde.
@@shalacarter6658 Thanks. I really do hope so, but dating someone with a disability here kind of seems taboo. I have heard of that couple before and they are adorable (just like wheels no heels), but it seems far more accepted to date inter-abled in the US or UK. I am not giving up hope, though.
Molly you have taught us so much about blindness and disability and before I watched your videos I was uneducated on the subject of disability in general and now I have learned so much more from you and I really want to keep on learning and I'm excited to learn more!!!
this is awesome, Molly! I'm 20, dating a 34 year old with tourette's. its so awesome to see people like you out there, respecting the disability instead of being judgmental. thank you!!
As a person with Tourette Syndrome I love this video! There is so much stigma around Tourette syndrome. People think it’s only a swearing disorder or that we can control it. Both of which aren’t true! I so appreciate this because Tourette syndrome isn’t really talked about much and people don’t really know much about it. I also really appreciate that this was posted during Tourette Syndrome awareness month! Thank you molly! Also, if you want to hear real stories of people with Tourette syndrome there is a podcast for that! It’s called Tourette’s Podcast in most podcast apps! I listen on Spotify
Molly, when you post a story, it is amazing how no matter the story or situation you bring a positive and sunny outlook on it. You don’t speak badly of people, there is no emphasis on “tea”. Thank you for bringing the positivity and how to just be kind to people 💕💕 Obsessed with you!
I know that you were not sure what the point of this vid is. But it kind of helped me because I have been feeling a little guilty, cuz I turned down a guy who really liked me and was textbook perfect but I just did not romantically like him. You talking about love and that you just were not romantically attracted to “Adam” made me realize it is normal and I don’t have to feel bad. Love you thanks you.
🙋🏻♀️ I am a cancer survivor, stage IV endometriosis and so many other conditions. My finace and the love of my life has Type 1 diabetes. I had a major, out of state, had to travel to a specialist and massive hospitalizations since we got together and we stayed because he understood me in the way I needed. ❤️
I work with adults w mental and physical disabilities. one of my clients has severe Tourettes, along with other disabilities as well. and it's just so hard on her, she'll scream and hit and spit, but it really is so hard for her to control. I really appreciate you sharing this! Tourettes is often seen as taboo and it was nice to hear you speak so candidly about it. Thank you!
I have Tourettes and I am mainly physical tics. My husband is amazing and so loving the amount of times I have had a tic and hit him and he still loves me for me. My worst tic is hitting myself in the head 3 times in a row. Thank you so much for sharing your stories. They help to inspire so many others.
absolutely love you, I got distracted part way through because the video is edited in a way where you never breathe in 😂 i hope im not the only one who noticed this ....
What other stories would you be interested in hearing from me?! :D
PS. Don't forget to follow @mollyburkeofficial on TikTok!!
I really like your story time vids. But honestly, I love all of your videos. I find them very original and fun to watch. Keep up the great work!❤
Tell us about your most embarrassing childhood moments!
Have you talked about going to dentist? Do you have a scary story from dentist? Something that wouldn't be scary normally except for your disability.
A blind girl moment as a child.

You can do anything! Your disability is such a gift!) that I felt like there was something wrong with me for YEARS. Thank you for sharing your journey and helping others get a more balanced picture of disability. I'd love to meet you some day.
ugh! Inspiration porn! "Oh, you are so inspiring!" Please! Just leave me alone.
She’s almost at 2mill!!!

I went shopping at Aerie today and thought of you the whole time!!
same
Omg the bathroom story was adorable! I could picture it honestly.
Loved her old room but this just gives a more peaceful aesthetic and I’m living for it 💕
ME TOO!!!
When you said you dated someone with Tourette's, I screamed. Because I have TS! I'm so glad you made this video and it gives me hope that I will be able to find love :)
Thanks, I didn't know that TS was a thing.
"he's gay, and i'm a woman" i felt that
its literally me with my best friend who is 100% my soulmate, always has been and always will be
I'm autistic and my boyfriend is ADHD
I wish you two all the best ❤️💐❤️
@@agnessfox9983 thank you!
I have anxiety and PTSD & my boyfriend has autism
When I first started watching you on here I was 13-14 and I didn't know anything about a guide dogs or someone being blind, I have learned so much about a lot of things from watching your channel and I wanted to say thank you for doing what you do to educate others
I've loved all your previous hair colors, but this one is definitely my favorite 😍 the gray looks amazing now that it's a bit darker and with warmer reflexes. you did a great job dying it!
I feel like we are BFFs even though we’ve never met. Thanks for being so awesome!
Ps: sorry I’m so late!
When it says "54 seconds ago" ! I had a feeling and good timing too haha Love you Molly ❤️
Still want the blackout story you promised years ago!
I love ur little “aaahhhh hello” in the beginning....ur just so damn cute🤗....such a beautiful soul💖💖💖....love these stories...keep ‘em coming 💜💜
Molly’s makeup is somehow even more on point today
Right??
Even though I haven't dated much, I've also been in a similar boat socially speaking, trying to explain my Traumatic Brain Injury condition, and my conversion disorder. I often use you as an example Molly, (I hope you don't mind) because my health conditions are invisible. Interesting you're talking about tourettes, because one of my good friends has visual symptoms and we both joke about how we are neurological disorder buddies (conversion disorder is neurological). Thanks for another great video Molly, from a Canadian viewer! :)
I love how she is so close to 2mil and she didn't even beg us to subscribe.
Because she’s not trash lol
Damn who new molly has had a big dating life! She’s one confident lady
OMG You're finally at 1.99M, rooting for you to go over 2M!
You are so sweet and positive, thank you
I do too! Stay strong man :)
1. Jessica Kellgren-Fozard
2. #chronicallyjaquie (who sadly, died last year)
3. #squirmyandgrubs
4. #therawlife
5. #thedrewlynch
“Everyone has multiple soulmates”
I absolutely love that.
Like I've binge watched all your vids the entire day! loving the tik tok lives as well at the moment. xx
Ah, yay!! Thanks for all the support!!
I have schizoaffective disorder (schizophrenia with bipolar disorder) and guys have always felt really weird about it. They try to just avoid the topic and I have to hide my symptoms as best as possible. Luckily I found my husband and he's really supportive. We actually just did a video on my channel where I interview him on how it is being with someone with a disability.
neat! I am going to check out that interview.
You are looking ridiculously beautiful! That hair colour is 🔥 Who’s with me?
Molly Burke I am HIV positive. And I want to say again thank you so very much for sharing the story with everyone with the HIB community and with people who do not know about HIV. I want to say thank you again. Everything you hear on with the HIV was perfect and accurate. Thanks again
This made me really happy, 1 because it's a Molly Burke video and two because it made me think about how my friends I have Invisible disabilities and how we get along and go out and about with it.
This hair colour is actually so so complimentary to your skin and beautiful on you
I love how open you are with all your subscribers thank you for sharing this story and I love that dress!
My husband has Tourette’s and he is the most amazing man I’ve met in my life
ok
As a wheelchair bound person, this is a subject that hits close to home.
I have an anxiety related tic disorder and I’m so glad that people r willing to accept others for who they r.
Love the hair Molly❤ love you too
Happening anytime now -- 2 Million Subs! So, here's greeting you in advance: Congratulations, Molly! 🍾🥳
I have Tourette’s and was diagnosed when I was 7/8. Mine is a mix between Vocal and physical. Many of mine cause me a decent amount of physical pain and a lot more that is to complicated to describe. I’m so glad you did a video like this
Both my husband and I have the same mental disabilities. We get along perfectly
I get along perfectly with my boyfriend because we understood what it’s like to both have mental illnesses. I have anxiety & PTSD and he has autism + anxiety.
This whole look is everything! You are glowing in these shades! The hair is sooo perfect right now!
This is why being open to new experiences and dating at least some is so beneficial for both. It's always great to give it a chance if you can before settling down. ♡
love you molly, you're such an inspiration :)
Thanks for using you platform to help others understand a very misunderstood illness!! Love you Molly!!!!
Legitimately the only channel I have notifications on for at the moment 🙋♀️💖
Just 100 more subscribers until 2 million!!!!!! Amazing work Molly!!! You deserve it!!!
Molly, I absolutely love your positivity! You are such a huge inspiration.
your super close to 2 million!
i really needed to hear that part at the end about soulmates. thank you molly, you're very wise.
I my gosh Molly is AMAZING she makes quarantine better
I can't wait to congratulate Molly on 2 million subscribers!
this is awesome, Molly! I'm 20, dating a 34 year old with tourette's. its so awesome to see people like you out there, respecting the disability instead of being judgmental. thank you!!
Molly, you are GLOWING right now!
Just keep thinking “Drew Lynch” 💛
I know they’re just friends, but I’m too invested in the Gallop x Stella ship 😂
Isn't Drew married now? Lol
you are the best youtuber ever. hope you stay safe and well.
Molly you look extra beautiful in this video! Your hair, your outfit, your makeup. Everything is on point!!
As someone who isn’t religious our really believes in anything but science at all, I absolutely love and agree with how you think of soul mates.
Molly, when you post a story, it is amazing how no matter the story or situation you bring a positive and sunny outlook on it. You don’t speak badly of people, there is no emphasis on “tea”. Thank you for bringing the positivity and how to just be kind to people 💕💕
Obsessed with you!
She's so close to two million subscribers!!!
Love you thanks you.
you’re so close to 2 million!!!!!!! congratulations!!! you deserve it, all your hard work pays off!
I love your makeup and hair in this video Molly! 💕
Molly Burke you make my day.
