I just went back and saw that! Good catch!!! Thats crazy, that makes Claudia pretty fucking evil doesnt it? I mean she killed someone and drained their life to revive her dad. Pretty fucked up if you ask me
I really wanted to like claudia and I think a lot of people did (I was a rayllum shipper from the start dm if u wanna talk) but the way she's acting and how she thinks that magic can just fix all her problems I feel as if it's her moms fault she's like this claudia is unable to cope with loss because everyone makes decisions for her like her mom and then Soren she never truly made a choice about who to he with and now she's doing every thing she can to be with her dad no matter what and it's so sad
Pros: •Soren's development! He finally thought for himself and could see his dad is a villian. He also apologised to Callum for bullying him in the past which was nice. It shows his maturity • Ezran! He really came into his own this season. I like how he choose to not fight instead of going to war, he is choosing his own path as king (This is what Harrow wanted for his sons). Also I liked the scenes he had with Bait this season, they were cute. • Janyai and Amaya are a great fighting duo. I liked that they gave Amaya her own arc with the sunfire elves. They are a great ally to Katolis now • Callum and Rayla 😍 It was a bit rushed in s3 (I thought the romance would be a slow burn), but in s1 and s2 this was build up naturally and in s3 it just exploaded. I like that they love each other for who they are as people, it makes it believable. Callum loves Rayla because shes strong, smart, beautiful, a hero and she never gives up. Rayla said she couldnt do the journey without Callum by her side and he's a best friend. All the romantic and kiss scenes were too much for me to handle. • Covrus and Opelli. They support Ezran soo much and were there for him. Without them Ezran may have crumbled under pressure. •The last episode with the battle was amazing Cons: • Callum didnt work on improving his use of magic. He only learned one new spell with the wings, but that was in the heat of battle. Also he didnt have an arc other than his relationship with Rayla (which is fine), but it took away from his own arc. •Claudia. I know she is being lied to by Viren but there is no scene where she even tries to question Viren on her own. She believed her dad over Soren when there was evidence to show Viren is evil. He got locked up in jail, Soren told her that he should kill the princes, and he even said to Claudia that the egg is more important than her brother. The red flags are there but she chooses to not see it. I know she doesnt want her family to split up, and not to choose sides but she chooses her dad over soren anyway. I understand that shes going to have a dark arc, I just dont like how naive they are making her look when Claudia is smart. She may be a goof ball but she isnt dumb. • I would have liked to see more of Xadia. We only saw forests, deserts, and a glimpse at the sunfire elves kindgom • Pip was not shown at all. Where did he go? • Aavaros was a bit on the back burner this season, but I guess s4 will be his time to shine. I think s2 was a bit better, but s3 was so good.
Oh my gods I love how you anyalized these characters I see that soren, ezran and callum all grow through out the series and love to talk about the show as a hole so awsome
Soren had the best development/character arc this season. I felt the final battle was underwhelming. Too say why would require spoiler talk. And, Sol Regem. He was featured so prominently in the artwork leading up to this season. But he was barely there and tossed aside. The two flashback parts were good though. Wish we'd gotten more dragons and info on them. Like why some can speak while others don't.
@@Gruntvc I agree when you speak about Sol Regam. He was only in 1 episode, and him and the mage was never talked about again the whole season. We know theres a back story with Aavaros, the mage and the town (I forgot what its called) Sol Regam was going to burn down. I hope in s4 we get answers.
By that moment i tough that he can really be half skywing elf, because of the arcanum, the boomerang moment and the fact that he can use the magic wings, i know that his appearence is't similar to an elf, but look to Keith, from Voltron, he is a half Galra that has 100% human form the only galran trait that he has is the Yellow twinckle is his eyes when he gets mad.
@@Lunatic_Cultistkk They can't do that and make him part sky elf. It would take away the effort he put in establishing a connection with the Sky arcana in the first place because he was already born with it from the beginning.
That is something I highly enjoy about TDP: the writers let the characters decide. So many writers try to control their characters, causing uncharacteristic moments and decisions, instead of letting the characters decide for themselves.
Ezran is Zyms translator. I can't even understand what Amaya says by herself sometimes and I like that, gives people who are deaf or mute a little fun as they can understand Amayas finguistic
Dragon’s Touch Maybe not? It would be cool to see them fight and Callum gets shut down hard. Of course Claudia, I’d assume, wouldn’t want to kill him and maybe spare him? It’d be a reminder that she’s doing these horrible things because she THINKS that they’re for a good cause
I *know!* In Season 2, they censored the scene where Viren cut his hand for Aaravos, but in Season 3, Soren literally fricking stabbed him (or, a version of him) and that was that. Like, *dang.*
@Anzu Wyliei Yeah haha I'm not talking about them getting married asap Just like At the end of the show maybe? We still don't know how big the timeskip between season 3 and 4 will be
Tbh this series is just amazing. The character development is just absolutely awesome and I am so curious about the upcoming game :3 thank you just so much for this wonderful piece of art
I'm so scared of this time skip, like I'd love to see Ezran ruling as a child, having rayllum in present and stuff, but maybe I'm just too attached to things we have already
Ezran is like 10, a child can't honestly rule as a king unless they make him act like an adult, which is unrealistic and poor writing. They already did that with a child queen. They had her act like an adult so she could rule which was a poor idea. I get that this show has a kid audience and a child ruler appeals to kids, but ignoring the fact that children are not mentally capable of making logical adult choices is just a bad writing choice. In real life, when a child was the only heir to the thrown, an adult regent would act as king or queen until the child was an adult and old enough to rule.
honestly, I think it will only be a few months for the time jump, a year at most. Any longer and then you'd need a whole season of flashbacks just to fill in the blanks.
From episode 7 or 8 (I don’t remember) when callum sees raylas parents When viren decides their fate does anyone think that he trapped their souls in the coins?
Actually, later in the season, Viren captures Rayla and literally says," it will be a pleasure to add more elves to my collection." After that he bounced a bag up and down. You could hear multiple coins in there. The only elf we saw get put in the coin was the leader of the assassins, but in the bag, there were coins clinking against each other. The reason they thought Raylas parents were dead was because their flower wasn't on the surface, but we later see the leaders flower sunk but only half way and flashing a bit. I wouldnt be suprprised if Raylas parents are alive. Sorry that was confusing
I loved season 3 so much, rayllum, zym, ezran as king, everything. Keep up the good work and please don’t make us wait so long for the next season. Also, thank you so much for this interview, It really help me to understand better the season.
I loved the season, before the season I was bracing myself for Viren's character to turn 180 and go "muhahaa, I will rule the world!" then die, so I am really really happy it didn't happen. I thought Callum and Rayla's relationship wasn't rushed, nor was the whole season (which is a miracle considering how much happens.) But then, it wasn't perfect either. Ez gives up the throne, because he doesn't want to cause deaths, then in last episode...He fights against people he wanted to protect and kills them. The way that whole fight was handled, with nobody pointing out they were fighting magically enchanted humans was horrible. At the first episode, Callum encourages Rayla to take Zym back to his mom, when season before they pointed out Zym needs to be brought back by a human prince, or the peace gesture is meaningless. Other then that, Aaravos was awesome once again, it brought up elfs/dragons being racist against humans ("they are lesser beings"), which is good, why I like the show and It did have the best fake death I have seen in fiction though, that scene was beautiful and my reaction mirrored Claudia's.
I think the whole way they handled the final battle was a letdown. I'm not say Viren should win, but c'mon. They literally survive stuff that would kill normal humans, only to be beat by a normal 1 kingdom army and weapons!? What... I mean, at least in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, a bloody unkillable Ghost army showed up lol.
Genome Soldat To be fair, Viren didn’t anticipate fighting a human army, only elves and dragons. He was very well prepared for the elves and dragons. Simply put, they were so focused on defending from magical beings that they became vulnerable to more mundane methods. So, I don’t have a problem with how 1 human army wiped the floor with Viren’s monster army. While I see where you’re coming from with Ezran, and to some extent agree, I think the situation for Ezran changes in his mind once the soldiers became the dark magic lava beings. Effectively, the soldiers were no longer human, or even animals. The soldiers no longer had their human intellect, so they were no longer human. They also were no longer driven by instinct and survival, making them no longer animals. They were effectively husks that were filled with only rage and bloodlust. It’s unlikely that the soldiers would have ever been able to go back to their normal human lives. So, at that point, killing them could be seen by some as a mercy. I suppose that the soldiers in Viren’s army were/are comparable in many ways to the Darkspawn from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II.
@@AlphaWolf096 But if we take credit art as canon, (which we do) they have intelligence! There's the art of the prince Kasef holding a plate of vegetables and still not liking them...Viren made them immune to fire, and stronger, but they aren't mindless zombies.
@@danielpreval4062 Dammit. I heard we could expect the next season in April or August if they keep up with their release schedule. They better not cancel it.
I think he had a hand in her demise and enjoyed it. He is the type to take delight in others' terror, just look at his body language when he's interacting with the Queen. He looks like he's found a new toy to torment and is having a blast. That was actually creepy.
@@AlexAzureOtaku I'm quite confident the Orphan Queen is an ancestor of Harrow's - that would explain why only orphans can start a new royal line in Katolis. We know that the OQ was a human who travelled to Xadia and saved the world (or something to that effect), and that a female ancestor of Harrow's was somehow connected to the Key of Aaravos.
I think they really missed a big chance to explore more of the sun elf culture, we had such a short time to take in such beautiful scenery, cause I would love to learn about each elve’s culture
I would've loved to see more of Lux Aurea, just from what I've seen so far it's a beautiful city. But it's not as if they don't have four more seasons to be able to explore their culture, I'm sure they will.
I think that since Soren has diverged relationships from his father and sister, Soren will go back to Del Bar in season 4 to reunite and bond with his mother.
My guess is that Aaravos is the one that gave the original dark mage the staff. If you notice it's similar to virens. I'd assume that's why Aaravos is trapped in the mirror
Honestly im surprised rayllum wasn’t planned. From the first episode I had shipped them, and now, after watching season 3, I was sure they had rayla and callums interactions lead up to them being together, hence many people shipping them
After watching S3 there are a few questions that I have. 1: When asked by Viren, Queen Aanya refused to lend her soldiers to fight against Xadia because she did not want to repay the debt owed to Katolis with even more lives. Why then did she agree when Opeli came to ask for the same thing (just different foe)? 2: Will we ever meet the Crowlord? 3: What was the red dragon doing in Katolis back in S2?
Because she wasn't fighting Xadia, The Land Of Things That Want Humans Dead, she was fighting another human that was trying to ignite an all out war with the dragons for reasons other humans outside of Katolis couldn't back. He was a much smaller-seeming foe that was a direct threat to her people if left unchecked.
ok so y’all know how sokka has a boomerang, right? and y’all remember how callum (who has the same voice actor as sokka) picks up the boomerang and he’s like “this feels familiar”? at the end of the episode, there are always sketches of the characters and there’s a sketch of callum doing a pose sokka made while holding sokka’s boomerang
that moment when you realize theirs a double easter egg with Callum holding sokka's boomerang and when Callum picks up a similar thing off of Nyx's staff saying the theirs something familiar about it then says "boomerang!?" Also I love the fact that Callum and Rayla are doing the sokka and moon goddess love thing exept it ends better with Callum saving her, rayla wanting to stay and Callum arguing gave it away ;)
Great interview, just gets more exiting to know that the story basically just started even now in season 3 and that there will be plenty of possible revelations, so just rewatching all the seasons
My favorite scenes were the ending of episode five and six, and the “horses need hay!” Scene Also, when sorin said, “ ding ding ding!”, all I could think of was jacksepticeye saying, “ding ding ding! Top of morning!”
Theory: Callum's father was a skywing elf and thats why Callum has the sky arcanum. Also probably why Justin Richmond said it was intentional for their to be different skywing elves. Because Callum was able to make wings. Also i noticed in the backstory with Viren vs Rayla's parents. In the back after Rayla's parents got frozen, the mirror is seen, the same one where Aavaros is "trapped" in
I'm still wondering if Viren will even *be* the final villain... They've invested a lot into him to where it seems logical, but... ...I *really* want it to be Aaravos. He's so mysterious and intimidating as a "bigger bad" sort of antagonist.
I hope Dark Magic is more than just *THE* *BAD* *POWER*. Hopefully, there'll be some middle ground since we just saw that the humans used it to be on an equal playing field against beings who saw them as a lesser species. That's messed up and I can sympathize with the villains. Also wonder how the Dragon Queen will address the two sons of the man who killed her mate. Wonder if she'll apologize or give her sympathies to them since her husband killed their mother. Another thing is if we'll get more exploration not only in the Magic side of Xadia but the human side as well. For now it seems boring but hopefully, we will get more political intrigue (like that priest) and other stuff like a Thief's Guild! Speaking of politics, I hope they don't gloss over the fact that Ezran's army killed his own army, 3 Kingdom's army, and a PRINCE! Hopefully, there will be consequences for those fatalities. Right now there are only 2 *CHILDREN* leaders on the side of peace. I hope they're naivety won't be rewarded and they'll learn better tactics than shouting *PEACE* *IS* *RIGHT*.
I am curious if Azamodas's dad is entirely dead. The spear that looked like it was doing petrification effect. It might be possible with mastery for the 6 arcanum.
Humans are definitely the underdogs in this fantasy setting. And yeah, the final battle was a letdown for me. I've seen battles done way better. Soren was the best though.
Yeah, if they don't address the massive conflict among humans that'd surely be caused by Ezran and Aanya's actions and have everyone be all peaceful and accepting of it then that's just really lazy writing.
Everyone is talking about how Claudia revived Viren by killing 1 person. In book 3, chapter 9, she does a spell called "Noctu Igne", it explodes the front line of the Sunfire elves, this had to at least kill 10+ people, because there was a huge hole in the shield line.
I feal like season 3 was a little rushed and Xadia could be explored more because in the first 2 seasons there just exploring the human kingdoms but when there in xadia we see so few elf’s and new creatures which was a real let down. The callum arc was really rushed and I think with more time that season 3 could’ve been better.
We still have 4 more seasons left, so we will see more elves and land being explored. Especially when Aaron and Justin said we will get more details on Aaravos and the elves.
I think Rayla parent’s are alive but Viren trapped them in a coin like how he did with Runaan there’s a scene in the last episode of season 3 where he shakes a bag of coin. I’m probably spoiling a future episode in the making or they’re actually dead..
I think the coins thing is too convenient. It's fairly clear that Raylas parents are in the coins, like Runaan. Probably Harrow too. It would be such a cheesy feel-good thing to happen if they suddenly could bring all of the dead characters back to life. I think it would cheapen the excellent character development and emotional moments of the show.
@@Matt-bg5wg I think the writers are smarter than to execute this comeback so for it to feel cheap. There are going to be psychological consequences from being trapped in a coin like that.
Fun fact: In french there is an expression: "a strike of lightning" which means the moment a person falls in love with another person and it really reminds me of the moment in 1:54
I was under the impression they were donezo after Viren used them as those shadow things to assassinate the other human monarchs. I know Runaan is still around in limbo because of that flower in the fountain, hovering between the surface and the ground
Jaiden Hinh Yeah but you honestly never know what the show will do. They are working on it all the time and there’s always room for things to change so idk. I really hope we get to see more of them though! I think they’re super interesting and super cute and if they aren’t resurrected or or anything like that then maybe we’ll get more about them from the books, social media, etc.
i reckon Viren has their souls in those coins, including Raylas parents, maybe even Harrow's as well (I still think he killed Harrow in the room before the assassins got into the tower)... It would be completely stupid to be able to bring all of them back to life, as it would undo so much character development, and would almost cheapen the more emotional parts of the show. But I can just totally see them setting this up too.
Matt Coombes I think it could eventually happen. And yeah I thought about Viren killing Harrow too! Anything could happen and I just want to get to more seasons to find out!
Since Callum cast that spell that allowed him to see the past, he saw Viren cast aspero freigus. It’d be cool if he flashed back to this moment to remember the tune and trigger word to use aspero freigus in the future.
I’d assume Aaravos had a part in Queen Aditi’s demise. Maybe he wasn’t the one to kill her, but he damn sure enjoyed to tell Janai’s sister before he disintegrated her.
Never mind on the Janai's sister bit, found out on the official site that her name is Queen Khessa! :D Beautiful design too, I see why it was Justin's fave!
Reyla x Callum is gonna have to grow on me. I don’t think it’s bad per se, and it wasn’t out of nowhere, but it did come pretty quickly. I also feel Callum was in the background a bit this season, which again, it wasn’t awful but...i’m looking forward to more devt for him. I’m sure he’ll get arc focus next season.
Agreed I really want the show to focus more on family than love triangles. If they do decide to have Claudia dealing with conflicts I hope it will be based more on her being torn with her loyalty towards her father and brother as they are both important family members to her. Rather than some cliche love triangle with Callum and Rayla.
9:55 As for that Sailor Moon transformation sequence - I think it'll be Aaravos who does it. Think about it: when he breaks out of prison, he's gonna get some unwanted attention; the only way around it is for him to do some Moon magic and conjure up an illusion, making himself look human.
Will Callum be the new court mage? Will Callum try to help other humans tap into primal magic? Will Callum eventually be able to tap into all six primal sources?
Such a great show. Hope it gets renewed for another season. My kids and I binged a rewatch of all previous seasons before starting the new ones. Great stuff...
I seriously can't wait until season 4, every time I start thinking about it again I go into this loop of theories and research, man its driving me crazy
I love the fact that this is the only Netflix original I’ve seen that deals with LGBT such as that one Princesses 2 mothers, those 2 moon-shadow elves, and Maya and that sun-fire elf
so far its good and love the fact ebony sun elves it feels like its against elf logic but also feels right to associate them with ebony skin since well real life arabs :D its a good non forced presentation and realistic lgbt so far good doesnt seem forced but if they turn everything lgbt am gonna get pissed i dont want callums aunt that knight to be shipped with sun elf knight i want her to go with that orange hair nice guy that was imprisoned...
@@kesn8317 TBH I like her with Gren. The only thing I think and the sun fire elf have any connection is their deceased sisters. Hopefully they do it organically and I don't want the creators and writers to get influenced by the fandom like RWBY and Voltron.
@KaMau Mau I kinda have a theory that he and Ezran have some sort of Elven lineage. Callum can do primal magic which is literally impossible for humans, and Ezran can talk to/understand animals. Their mother may have been an elf with a human disguise like (i forget her name but) Moon Lady did. OR maybe one of their mother's parents was an elf.
@@divergent_bowtie1066 wasn't the point of Callum struggling to learn primal magic is because he doesn't have a connection to a single primal source? Based on the explanations given to us, these connections to the primal source were given to the elves when they were born, each having their unique primal connection. If Callum had elf blood in him then he'd be having an easy time conjuring primal magic.
I like how the Rayllum relationship was done, I just don’t like how fast it happened, they literally went from please don’t kill me, to I love you in what a month? If they had extended the time frame a little, it would have been more believable.
I wanna know if we can get the moon shadow elves back from the coins that viren trapped them in. Like how cool would that be to undo his dark magic to get Rayla's parents back and the husband back for the other elf. However i'm also wondering if they go into the coin do they die? Because his flower sunk in the fountain but we all know he got trapped in the coin so its very weird.
Mystic Only Runaan, I think. All the others were used to kill the monarchs of the other kingdoms by Viren in Season 2. There’s probably a way to reverse it, but I imagine it’s probably also dark magic. A moral conundrum, ya know?
I wish we knew more about how the royalty system among the dragons works because it's weird to me that Sol Regem would be fine with killing Zym who is technically *his* king/prince now. I also really, really hope they address the fact that Queen Aanya killed a prince and that Ezran and the Broken Link fired on fellow Katolans and other kingdoms' armies. I'd be surprised it that didn't lead to an all-out war, frankly. In my opinion, the whole final battle seemed kind of rushed and messy which is a shame because the other 99% of the season was amazing.
Knoxville Craggins to be fair, that same Prince was a raging fire demon about to murder Callum. I think it will be brought up but also the fact that several of them were involved in a coop, threatened war on Kotalis before then, and then become monsters would be a excellent counter. Also I think they may figure out Viren sent the assassins in the first place so that too
I mean, I think potentially mindless minions by dark magic aren’t exactly the same as the soldiers who seemed scared and distressed by the prince’s monstrous transformation by viren. It’s like saying zombies are the exact same as the people they once were, but we will probably get more information next season.
Im suprised no one asked how in Season 3 when Rayla returned home and there was a flower slowly rising back up in the pond so there could be a survivor of the Moonstone Elf Assassins!!!🙂
Right!? I haven’t seen anyone talk about yet. Personally I think it was Runaan since his soul-essence stuff wasn’t used for the shadow elves that Viren summoned to assassinate the monarchs of the other human kingdoms
I can't help making a parallel between Zuko and Azula with Soren and Claudia ... It is obvious that the connection is much stronger between the latter, which may lead Claudia to a different destination. But as I said Claudia longs for her father's affection as much as Azula Ozai's, and both are extremely dangerous and disciplined people in their power, if Claudia loses control over herself, it would be catastrophic. See how that family dynamic will develop interests me a lot, , as Soren will evolve from this moment, seeking to be his own person, and it also scares me ...
I have but 1 question. Can the non-arch dragons in the show speak human or elvish languages too? We see the Archdragons can speak, but not dragons like that Sun Dragon scout from season 2.
@Point Break, I think in a Q&A from earlier this year after season 2, the creators said dragons can speak human or elvish after their 75 years old? But, I don't recall if that extends to only Archdragons like Sol Regem or Zym's parents?
Anzu Wyliei Right? I don’t think they can just turn off their power like the Sunfire elves plus they have to be pretty pissed off that they’d been bested by the people they were trying to protect (Humans). The implications of the two child monarchs siding with humanity’s rival in a bid for peace is astronomically bad. I can see that the other kingdoms WILL turn on Katolis and Durren in the seasons to come
I’d love to see more development with janai and Amaya’s relationship next season because I think they are both pretty awesome but even more awesome together also they would be the first LGBTQ couple in TDP that both people are not dead/trapped in a coin and they’re relationship can be developed without relying solely on flashbacks/story’s Thank you for coming to my shipping TED talk
I think it's interesting (and smart) that the creators let the characters guide the plot and relationships, not the other way around. Also, part 2 should have JoJo references.
Whatever happened to King Harrows bird like I feel like ezran would have loved to have talked to that thing or at least get it's in sight on what happened on that night
The question was asked who should we worry about more: Claudia or Viren? Seriously, I love Claudia as a character. She’s such a bleeding heart and an adorable soul. It breaks my heart to watch her corrupt her soul and spirit with Dark Magic. She’s living the quintessential cliché: “the road to Hell is paved in good intentions.” It also hurts to watch her sacrifice so much for her father’s love and all she gets in return is blatant manipulation. It makes me hate Viren more. Love you, Claudz❣️

Hey he wanted to avoid going to a war. He is mature enough to recognize when he cannot run away from one
He didn’t want a war with Xadia
There's a difference between trying to avoid a war and being unwilling to fight a war you can't avoid.
Jolo Sarmiento Ezran really didn’t have a choice it was either get the dragons to help or they all die.
When claudia brings viren back to life, you can see the foot of a dead guy in the background
you can also see that the king's crown is twisted around and stained with blood. This implies that Viren hit the ground head-first.
Koke Pasu I went back but I couldn’t see a dead foot
You know something about seaseon 4?
Pros:
•Soren's development! He finally thought for himself and could see his dad is a villian. He also apologised to Callum for bullying him in the past which was nice. It shows his maturity
• Ezran!
They are a great ally to Katolis now
• Callum and Rayla 😍
It was a bit rushed in s3 (I thought the romance would be a slow burn), but in s1 and s2 this was build up naturally and in s3 it just exploaded.
•The last episode with the battle was amazing
Cons:
• Callum didnt work on improving his use of magic.
We only saw forests, deserts, and a glimpse at the sunfire elves kindgom
• Pip was not shown at all.
Rayllum forever
@@therockenross8131 Thank you!
The best thing in season 3 was when Callum (aka sokka) looked at a bumerang and said: „This looks familiar” xddd
Yes!!!
IKR
@@Lunatic_Cultistkk They can't do that and make him part sky elf. It would take away the effort he put in establishing a connection with the Sky arcana in the first place because he was already born with it from the beginning.
Why does he think it’s familiar?
That is something I highly enjoy about TDP: the writers let the characters decide. So many writers try to control their characters, causing uncharacteristic moments and decisions, instead of letting the characters decide for themselves.
just cant wait to hear ZYM SPEAK!!!
just another 80 years in story time. xD
Ezran is Zyms translator. I can't even understand what Amaya says by herself sometimes and I like that, gives people who are deaf or mute a little fun as they can understand Amayas finguistic
Lets just hope Ezran will live long enough for when Zym learns to speak by himself
Ez already knows, the lucky devil 😏
Will he be able to speak as well as Zim though?
Still waiting for a Callum vs Claudia a mage fight.
Nico Ll Callum needs a bit more magic under his belt before that can happen
Dragon’s Touch Maybe not? It would be cool to see them fight and Callum gets shut down hard. Of course Claudia, I’d assume, wouldn’t want to kill him and maybe spare him? It’d be a reminder that she’s doing these horrible things because she THINKS that they’re for a good cause
D u d e, especially considering their history together and the impressive art style of magic in this show, that would be epic af
@@Waddedupnapkin He needs a bit more practice, especially since she has that Dark Sun staff.

Season 1: Great way to start the season
Season 2: Necessary to watch for plot but not that interesting personally
Season 3: DAMNNNN THIS SHOW GOT DARK
Dude the blind captain alone made season 2 worth the watch.
But yeah season 3 was the best
Nah season 1 was to capture your interest. Season 2 had it's awesome moments.....
But yeah I agree season 3 is best so far.
I *know!* In Season 2, they censored the scene where Viren cut his hand for Aaravos, but in Season 3, Soren literally fricking stabbed him (or, a version of him) and that was that. Like, *dang.*

@@yogabbagabba4147 hell yeah, go to the homepage of wonderstorm - they mentioned it there
I'm so scared of this time skip, like I'd love to see Ezran ruling as a child, having rayllum in present and stuff, but maybe I'm just too attached to things we have already
Agreed. I like the way things are right now, and if the time skip messes anything up....GROWL
I hope the time skip is like endgame where the characters are not to much older
yeah I hope so too because I'd love too see the awkward moments, and I'd love to see rayllum in the present time
Ezran is like 10, a child can't honestly rule as a king unless they make him act like an adult, which is unrealistic and poor writing.
Rayllum army can't be stopped
Rayllum forever✊🏼
I swear if anything happens to this ship we ride at dawn boy’s 😂
From episode 7 or 8 (I don’t remember) when callum sees raylas parents
When viren decides their fate does anyone think that he trapped their souls in the coins?
SuperbloxygamerTV Games it does look like it
Probably. Their bodies weren't found, everyone thinks they're still alive.
@@boxytigers8793 Her parents never had flowers, they were Dragon Guard, not assassins.
Fenrir Blue actually Raylla says that the flowers were the reason the elves knew her parents run, because the flowers were still floating.
I thought Callum and Rayla's relationship wasn't rushed, nor was the whole season (which is a miracle considering how much happens.)
But then, it wasn't perfect either.

Does anyone else think that the Fire elfe grandmother was the person close to Aravos
I would agree, except that on his birthday page on the website it says it was a human that offered him an apple, not an elf. :/
I think he had a hand in her demise and enjoyed it. He is the type to take delight in others' terror, just look at his body language when he's interacting with the Queen. He looks like he's found a new toy to torment and is having a blast. That was actually creepy.
I wonder if the grandma is the 'orphan queen'
@@AlexAzureOtaku I'm quite confident the Orphan Queen is an ancestor of Harrow's - that would explain why only orphans can start a new royal line in Katolis. We know that the OQ was a human who travelled to Xadia and saved the world (or something to that effect), and that a female ancestor of Harrow's was somehow connected to the Key of Aaravos.
@@AlexAzureOtaku To quote Rayla, "Interesting theory..." Care to elaborate? ;)
I think they really missed a big chance to explore more of the sun elf culture, we had such a short time to take in such beautiful scenery, cause I would love to learn about each elve’s culture
Aaravos DID light the Sunfire Queen on fire like striking a match. That was a nice touch. Brutal. But nice.
I would've loved to see more of Lux Aurea, just from what I've seen so far it's a beautiful city. But it's not as if they don't have four more seasons to be able to explore their culture, I'm sure they will.
Will we meet Soren and Claudia's mother? From the story we got about her she seems like a whole game changer with Soren, Claudia, and their father.
I think that since Soren has diverged relationships from his father and sister, Soren will go back to Del Bar in season 4 to reunite and bond with his mother.
Eazrin is voice by a girl? I could never tell till now. I love the charicter she plays.

They said Viren has an interesting arc. Now I'm wondering if he'll try to go against aaravos?
true since he might use viren who inherited magic that he absorb by zym and spun itself to transform
Oh boy that would be fun
My guess is that Aaravos is the one that gave the original dark mage the staff. If you notice it's similar to virens.
I'd assume that's why Aaravos is trapped in the mirror
Maybe to save his daughter. He seems to not want the burden he has to be placed on her.
But he’s viren’s little bug pal!
The first question was the one of the biggest things that set me off in s3
The reason I presume is because Viren is a threat to everyone
Because she wasn't fighting Xadia, The Land Of Things That Want Humans Dead, she was fighting another human that was trying to ignite an all out war with the dragons for reasons other humans outside of Katolis couldn't back. He was a much smaller-seeming foe that was a direct threat to her people if left unchecked.
I thi k she just didnt trust Viren or his motives for the war.
Everything in this show was done so naturally and harmonically, I admire the writing so much!!
The Final Battle was straight out of Avengers: Infinity War, the only thing that was missing was for someone to yell XADIA FOREVER.
Or someone to say "I am [Iron Man] **_SNAP!_**"
I'm paraphrasing.
@@jjhggdcqz: Or someone like Talion of Gondor, alongside a army of Orcs suddenly show up to change the tide, and yelling BRING ME VIREN. 😅

Great interview, just gets more exiting to know that the story basically just started even now in season 3 and that there will be plenty of possible revelations, so just rewatching all the seasons
My favorite scenes were the ending of episode five and six, and the “horses need hay!” Scene
Also, when sorin said, “ ding ding ding!”, all I could think of was jacksepticeye saying, “ding ding ding! Top of morning!”
Don't forget the 'Hungry, hungry horses'!
Okay okay! Please stop yelling at me.
Soren even looks like Jacksepticeye!
AMAZING, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!
Don't worry about spoilers. I watched whole season at friday evening
I loved this season! I hope the Rayllum ship gets more developed and we see what happened in the ancient past and how the Xadians and humans interact
Literally haven’t gotten to five whole minutes in this video and I already demand season 4.
Anyone else?
this show was so dark and i loved it this season.
i have to admit Amayas comments were one of the best parts
I really wish i knew more sign language so I knew more of what she was saying
Skylar Stellarwing i want both!
I agree with you so much! I hope they don't gloss over them killing their own people and a foreign prince, who's father is alive!
Luke Amparo with that in mind I wonder if Ezran and Aanya would be paired together given their age
Your so lucky you get to interview these guys.
You should see the one where we interview them in person! We even have season 5 information!
With how the fandom is, season 4 might as well be called 'The Thirst' and be Aaravos's backstory with aaravos narrating.
Everyone is talking about how Claudia revived Viren by killing 1 person. In book 3, chapter 9, she does a spell called "Noctu Igne", it explodes the front line of the Sunfire elves, this had to at least kill 10+ people, because there was a huge hole in the shield line.
claudia going to the path of darkness with viren just breaks my heart .... just look at her hair :(
I feal like season 3 was a little rushed and Xadia could be explored more because in the first 2 seasons there just exploring the human kingdoms but when there in xadia we see so few elf’s and new creatures which was a real let down. The callum arc was really rushed and I think with more time that season 3 could’ve been better.
We still have 4 more seasons left, so we will see more elves and land being explored. Especially when Aaron and Justin said we will get more details on Aaravos and the elves.
XADIA
ITS CALLED XADIA
I agree it had great and was very good I still get that feeling they should have slowed down
You know something about seaseon 4?
But they saud there going to be more seasons, which could move a little more slowly.
I think Rayla parent’s are alive but Viren trapped them in a coin like how he did with Runaan there’s a scene in the last episode of season 3 where he shakes a bag of coin.
I’m probably spoiling a future episode in the making or they’re actually dead..
I hope they free rayla's parents from the coins. But that makes me wonder how rayla's parents would react to rayla being with callum
Landmassreb piratemaster23 I wonder that as well
I think the coins thing is too convenient.
@@lelrond Yeah, it wouldn't be feelgood, it would be bittersweet. They might be back... But at what cost?
Fun fact: In french there is an expression: "a strike of lightning" which means the moment a person falls in love with another person and it really reminds me of the moment in 1:54
I’m surprised no one asks about the moonshadow assassins
I hope they've already started on Season 4!
I wonder what will happen when Aaravos realize Callum is able to do magic
ShinnyaChan :o yeah
I can't believe RAYLLUM is canon ♡
im glad it is too. i love this relationship.
Since Callum cast that spell that allowed him to see the past, he saw Viren cast aspero freigus. It’d be cool if he flashed back to this moment to remember the tune and trigger word to use aspero freigus in the future.
and come up with a fire breath spell.
OMG I CANT WAIT FOR THE 4 MORE SEASON WHO ELSE CANT
What about Janai's sister? What's her name, birthday, etc? What kind of history did Aaravos have with her grandma??? PLEASE PLEASE ASK THEM THIS
I’d assume Aaravos had a part in Queen Aditi’s demise.

I was pretty happy with the series overall this 3rd season is well worth the wait. Looking forward to season 4
I have a feeling we're going to get a magic battle between Claudia and Callum
This series getting better and better.
I’m sure he’ll get arc focus next season.
love this show just keeps getting better
To all the upset shippers: This show isn't about romance, it's about family (both biological and metaphorical). It's a story we need more of.
The fact that Rayllum wasn't planned blew my mind
All i want right know is to reverse the audio of all spells in season 3
You can find videos of that on UA-cam

@Anzu Wyliei agree they literally throw the two characters who are LGBTQ to the back, barely having any screen time.
@@kesn8317 TBH I like her with Gren. The only thing I think and the sun fire elf have any connection is their deceased sisters. Hopefully they do it organically and I don't want the creators and writers to get influenced by the fandom like RWBY and Voltron.
@Thatsnotmyname naa she ra shoves the LGBT in your face, the dragon prince does it way more nicely
I fear a minor breakup will happen between rayllum but hopefully they stay together like kataang did. God bless aaron Ehasz
Kataang sounds like a metallic sound
@KaMau Mau we've no idea if thats the case here. They can easily change common elven lore to fit their series.
I cant believe this show isnt more popular!
That boomerang comment KILLED ME. N yeah in watched season 3 in a night 😂
Lol oh yeah I crushed Season 3 in one sitting
I did the same thing it’s too good
I knew that I would batter through it that’s why I had hold myself back and stretched it out to last a week that was some self control 😅😂
I screamed when I saw Callum\Sokka with that boomerang
Callum x Rayla
I like how the Rayllum relationship was done, I just don’t like how fast it happened, they literally went from please don’t kill me, to I love you in what a month? If they had extended the time frame a little, it would have been more believable.
It's worse when you realize only two weeks passed since the first season c:
I wanna know if we can get the moon shadow elves back from the coins that viren trapped them in. Like how cool would that be to undo his dark magic to get Rayla's parents back and the husband back for the other elf. However i'm also wondering if they go into the coin do they die? Because his flower sunk in the fountain but we all know he got trapped in the coin so its very weird.
The flower was under the surface but hadn’t quite hit the bottom, so I’d assume it’s a bit of a limbo thing.
@@garyr6156 Maybe but I hope there is a way to bring them back from the coins.
Gary R I’m wondering how the haven’t notice that. Also it’s still glowing
Mystic Only Runaan, I think. All the others were used to kill the monarchs of the other kingdoms by Viren in Season 2. There’s probably a way to reverse it, but I imagine it’s probably also dark magic. A moral conundrum, ya know?
I just found out that there is a video game and I am legit going to get that
*INTERNALLY SCREAMS”
Just started (and finished it) today. Way better than the other 2 seasons
What I would like to see in future Seasons or Novel's is the other 4 Human Kingdom's & more of Xadia.
Just watched the whole show in one sitting last night and I want more
Im suprised no one asked how in Season 3 when Rayla returned home and there was a flower slowly rising back up in the pond so there could be a survivor of the Moonstone Elf Assassins!!!🙂
Right!? I haven’t seen anyone talk about yet. Personally I think it was Runaan since his soul-essence stuff wasn’t used for the shadow elves that Viren summoned to assassinate the monarchs of the other human kingdoms
Jaiden Hinh I mean I don’t mean to be rude but it was obvious to show that runaan was still alive in that coin (between life and death)
See how that family dynamic will develop interests me a lot,
, as Soren will evolve from this moment, seeking to be his own person, and it also scares me ...
I can see that the other kingdoms WILL turn on Katolis and Durren in the seasons to come
I like how Soren quickly works with the good side, I want Claudia to be defeated by someone
Me too. Soren deinfintily grew as a character in this season
I’d love to see more development with janai and Amaya’s relationship next season because I think they are both pretty awesome but even more awesome together also they would be the first LGBTQ couple in TDP that both people are not dead/trapped in a coin and they’re relationship can be developed without relying solely on flashbacks/story’s
Thank you for coming to my shipping TED talk
And I need to see Janai learning sign language
"trapped in a coin" lmao I'm dead
I think it's interesting (and smart) that the creators let the characters guide the plot and relationships, not the other way around. Also, part 2 should have JoJo references.
“Next you’ll say you were only pretending to be dead!”, Callum says to Viren who is clearly not dead
What kind of video game will it be? Point and click? Platformer? Action adventure?
These writers are amazing goodness
I WANT SEASON 4 ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!1
I personally think that Aaravos (hope I spelled it right) will where from the cocoon breaking out of the mirror.
