      Lol most Japanese cars are made in the USA , Nissan is made right outside of Nashville Tennessee, and a bunch of others all over the us

      Some of them are definitely way bigger for sure, being in Tokyo though, most places are very tight and small, the stores closer to Biwa get much bigger!

    I want to Japan for the first and only time in 2017. Stayed in Shibuya and found a Tackleberry there. Oddly enough I found a used Lunker Punker G2 there and some Hudds. The US big baits are marked much higher than here obviously. They also like Strike King crankbaits too.

    I was in Japan back in 1988 when I was in the Navy. It was still pretty easy to get around. Most of the younger locals loved practicing their English and were always super helpful

    I was stationed at Yokota Air Base from 2015-2018. My Saturday mornings were hitting up different Tackle Berrys. I still have them saved in my Google Maps I noticed a few days ago.

    Great stuff, I've been to Japan about 12 times over the last 30 years for work. Fortunately, I've seen two big LM caught shore fishing. The last one was on Sakura River near Senba Lake, it was probably about 4.5lbs the morning I flew back to the USA. It was the guys BP at the time, he was so happy. The other one was also also about 4 lbs and I think that was Lake Yamanaka South of Yokohama. I hope to go back to Japan in 2024.

    Oh! moving to Japan is my ultimate goal. I love Japan. I too try to learn Japanese. Do you also feel that even with your Japanese being limited, that most people in Japan seem to light up and become more helpful because you are actually trying? Never seen your channel before today.     Hey man, I'm going to Tokyo for the first time and was wondering if you had any suggestions for bluegill swimbaits to look out for. I'm from Ontario so bluegill and perch are the main forage. Just dipping my toes into the large category of swimbait fishing. I will be in both Seoul, South Korea and Tokyo, Japan. Any advice on what to look out for would be greatly appreciated, dont want to miss out on this great opportunity! Thanks, and keep up the great videos!

    How cool is that? Having the opportunity to visit tackles shops in Japan. If I were there, probably will get 1 each of the Shimano Jackall Poison Ultima, Glorious and Adrena rod. It's so difficult to buy one even through online. Also a Shimano Antares DC MD XG right hand unit to go with it.

    My ""original"" bay jigging Daiwa Ryoga's were used, and damn near brand new. Via Japanese tackle shops. And I paid 1/2 price of new.

    I’m super jealous we have so few shops of this quality in the states. Nearest place that even borders on that sort of experience is Beckers Tackle, which is like 150 something miles south of me.

    One thing tho is never buy reels at tackle berry. Some guys actually would buy a high end reel and take out the internals and put lower model internals in the body. Especially bait casters.

    So I’m a Navy Veteran and have been to Japan 5-10 times and yes they’re very friendly but there’s a ton of unfriendly’s as well that would meet us at the sort of their restaurants bowing down to us as they were saying NO AMERICANS!
