My friend that is into saltwater and bass fishing here in the states is a Marine was station in japan and he told me he visited a tackle store one day that blew his mind of all kinds of tackle that exists in japan compared to the states. He said to have spent a couple of hours just browsing around in shock to all the quality products on display. Super cool to hear you narrate a video for once, too. Not 100% because English is my second language, too, but I think those Polychaetes are mostly called Ragworms in a fishing context... and bristleworms in an aquarium context.

The package of Gamakatsu size 1 Chinu hooks caught my eye. One of my favorite hooks, 78 for $9 is good deal. Also Owner size 1 light Mosquito hooks are getting hard to find in the US, that store must have plenty of them.
Almost up there with the American Bass Pro Shop. But, the prices there in Japan are cheaper than Bass Pro. (some items) Thanks for taking time up to show us fishing tackle in Japan.

Thank you Kakapon for taking us along to the fishing store and even explaining everything in english ; ) There are a lot of things that are very similar to the regular German fishing store, but also a lot of very different things. The amount of tackle and bait you have is unreal...... purely insane xD. A lot of things like EGI lures and chum boxes or Tai Jig are almost unheard of over here. It looks like a better selection of accessories than here in the USA. Sometimes it's hard to find smaller tackle here. Most people just target crappie, black bass, and catfish.
Black bass? You don't call it, Largemouth bass? Black bass is the way japanese people call largemouth bass... . Or, is there any bass called Black bass ?
