This song is one of your very, very best! What a gem.
This is un-ironically the best music video I’ve seen.
“Was i dreaming , was i dreaming struck down in the desert sand” 🥰 saving to playlists- sometimes inspiration comes from unexpected places. This is a winner. ❤
So true! Agreed!
Definitely a Fleetwood Mac vibe with the story telling "feeling" of The Builders and the Butchers... Great music and video mix as well!!
Please listen to more music. This song is unique. Does every hamburger you eat remind you of McDonald’s too?
@@alexapluis609 Great tune, but I think there is one place where the music is a moment out of sinc. Around 2:10. Seems a moment rushed. Never-the-less..
OMG I have had a pair of 3-D glasses from 1982 in my bedroom just waiting for a chance to use them and here it is. The effect is really impressive and in some places, it is quite stunning. Love the song guys. Great work for a great bad film.
NOTE: All you need is a piece of red cellophane for the left eye and a blue piece for the right eye. You might tape them over your glasses if you wear them or cut a pair out of card stock. The ones I have are made of that. Good luck.
I want to hear the full story behind this, this is amazing.
This excursion from the well-paved road of your usual repertoire is indeed a stretch. It highlights your versatility. You stepped way out there, and it was a masterful performance. Bravissimo!
Carson and Josh make magic whenever they perform together.
No longer the worst film ever made ..... Great tune Josh awesum vibes ! Ty for sharing
Wow.... where do I begin. Let's just say you made lemonade out of lemons. Creative, terrific song for a very 'special' film. BTW, the 3-D effects worked beautifully using my film-nerd 3-D glasses.
I'd like to add another contender for worst film called "From Hell it Came." Highlights at a UA-cam channel near you.
If you wake up every morning scared of atomic war, your brain starts to liquefy, and you end up making films like this.
Love it. Lyrics have haunting sound. ‘’Was I dreaming when I took your hand?’’ Absolute genius line!
Wow!! Thank you for giving me chills. This tune is perfect 🩵🩵🩵
Great new tune! I want to hear this song when I wake up in the morning, when I'm driving home from work, when I go to be at night. It gets under your skin and echos like a lullaby from childhood.
Good work men! I am dating myself but, Crosby Stills and Nash would be jealous if they heard this song.
Amazing Song!! The vibe fits the imagery perfectly 👏👏👏
I love how the makers couldn't decide whether the monster should be an alien or Sasquatch.
Your song is over the top of amazing! The movie deserved your song. Excellent music!
Nice work! I'm currently working my way through the sci-fi anthology series Tales of Tomorrow so I get into old sci-fi. At least you turned a "worst" sci-fi movie into a great music video.
A great "atmospherical" song. I felt the same thing with Hayden Pedigo's tune "Let it go". Nice one Guys!
Cool tune I love the vibe
OMG!!!! Perfect. What a fun project for you two.
Amazing song, just the best! But I can't help fixating on that poor woman struggling in those heels.
Awesome, guys!
I heard this at a 3D viewing of the film at the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus as part of the Columbus Moving Picture Show over Memorial Day weekend!
Wonderful ! I hear the Fleetwood Mac overtunes, and also early Eagles (Desperado). Great creation
Great song -- hilarious footage!
what an awesome video and song.! thanks for sharing..
Thank'YOU Josh❣️🧙
Nice. You and Carson join Elmer Bernstein as incredibly talented musicians who have worked to elevate this movie!
My goodness. Elmer Bernstein never gets the attention he deserves. Well done.
Now I need to see this!
Awesome 3D!! Lot of depth!
Cool song!
In the first place, bad movies are sometimes hilariously good. The song is over the top good. But the thing that gets me is - A flat screen TV 70 years ago?? Look right there at 2:31.
Yesss😂
Before commenting that this sounds like Fleetwood Mac, please first question yourself how much music reference you listen to. Yikes Folks!! Get out more and listen more.
Haunting, dreamy,.. “To think for yourself is to be like a human”... 🤔. Great lyrics!👍
dreamlike, disturbing, circular piece that digs and brings personal anxieties to the surface. You don't stop listening until you find yourself wrapped up in his web. Great combination of music and images. Thank you
I loved the song, very atmospheric and well-crafted. I also love those daft old B movies, I'd definitely watch Robot Monster if it was available. Anyone remember "Invasion of the man-eating tomatoes". Classic stuff.
I knew those glasses from Spy Kids 3D in 2003 would come in handy one day.
Very cool!
Nice work, very professional.
I hear a little “Neil Finn” and Crowded House here. Great job! Fantastic Movie!
Excellent song and performance.
I saw that movie in the early 80s as a double feature with Plan 9 From Outer Space. Another classic.
Masterful harmonies, guys!
I enjoy these TCM "curiosities". This song and the film elevate each other. Very cool.
Great job Josh.
I actually remember this movie. Use to scare the shit out of me. Lol
Your rendition of the song is awesome!
fantastic job on the song.
Totally inspired!
Those bear Aliens with the TV antennas should get been on Star Trek
Despite being a sci-fi fan, I'd never heard of this film. The song, however, is excellent - haunting, with lovely guitar work. Thanks, Josh and Carson
Parabéns Josh e Carson. Linda e misteriosa música.
I found an old pair of cardboard red/green glasses (labelled - Journey to the Center of the Earth, the Brendan Fraser version) and the 3-D effect works just fine if you squint a little. Cool. And a great song. I hope they include it on the disc as an extra!
Otro buen trabajo Josh, like 435
Awesome...love the carefully selected vid outtakes... but that's actually a great song
Loved this
The movie certainly doesn't deserve this awesome song.
The movie has a long tradition of getting music it doesn't deserve: it was scored by the great Elmer Bernstein (who did everything from The Great Escape and The Ten Commandments to Airplane! and Ghostbusters) at a time when he wasn't getting major film offers because of his left-wing politics and the Red Scare.
As bad as the movie is, the score is pretty great. Josh and Carson are in good company.
I thought I saw that guy while camping with my friends in the Oregon back woods. At the time I attributed the sighting to the mushrooms & weed but now maybe it was really him!
Great tune!
This is one of fave movies ❤ thanks guys
I was noodling on my guitar and was playing a G, A and B around the 12th fret, and when that song started I was playing the same ;)
Fantascientific!!
Home run! The movie may actually become a classic now that it has been scored correctly. I can see this becoming a concert opener. Curtains part, 45 second clip of the movie and soundtrack, and do one of the entrances that has you come through the screen and take the stage. Ladies and Gentlemen.... "fill in the blank"
You should do this for other movies too, i'd love to see what you do with The Room or Plan 9 from Outer Space.
"Be like the human."
A message for us all.
I clicked expecting it to be some wacky, weird, off-the-wall stuff, but this is legit a sweet tune! Nice!
You guys are so sick hahaha this is amazing
Tom Hanks as the Hairy Robot
OK. MY NEW FAVORITE Josh song....kewl.
Well how cool is this. Campy movie and awesome song 🎵 👌
Great music guys.
Interestingly, I pulled out an old pair of 3-D glasses and found an extra for this video.
I wish I had some 3-D specs.
I tried to watch all the way through, but it got too scary
"... athough I cannot verify it, I feel she will understand"
I am going to go out on a limb and say the song is way better than the movie! I have to question the selling of the concept, write a song for the worst movie ever made? I loved the song! Great job!
Now I see why this is a hit on Dr. Demento.
Anaglyphic Robot Monster cheese music video! The world needs more of this.
Takes me back to the Friday night B rated movies of my youth
Did that woman tell the robot they wanted, peace with honor? Reminds me of Nixon and Kissinger when speaking about Vietnam.
By the way fellas Great song great video, well done, thank you!
Just great!
One of your best!!
I was skeptical at first, but this is awesome. Seriously.
Every day watching Robot Monster is a good day.
At least the soundtrack was amazing!
I tuned in to watch a joke… the song is absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I remember reading about this flick. It truly was one of the worst films every made, but maybe not at the "top" of the bottom list.
What a great song to an even greater movie! 👾🛸😂💥👍
Did Bob throw in a free cyclops girthful hairy monster outfit?
Really wish I had some 3D glasses.
Hu-man! 😂
Very bad movie - very awesome song!
Awesome. Love the Pink Floyd vibe.
It's such a weird paring, this. Like putting grape jelly on your mashed potatoes. No matter how good I heard it was, there's no way I'm trying it... you know?
Some people have mentioned the Fleetwood Mac vibe, which I hear. But I'm also hearing some Pink Floyd. In any case, love it!
Wow, this is amazing…
Paul Simon singing?🤔 Great job of both of you!
but this is so good
Well, its a better movie now for your addition. I'd love to hear a cut sans movie track. I think it is a delightful, haunting tune.
You can on streaming!
Art is the successful intersection of differently worn personal gestalts. WTF you should ask. Art is the collision of those things foremost for you; generally memories/feelings, and time, your age... Other stuff in your life goes into the shadows, depending on the situation. I know, too heady. Sorry. There are very few true linguistic English speaking artists today. Josh and "the guy who should not really try to grow a mustache," lol are in a league of bright craftpersons of our language, I would throw in Reina del Cid as among the best (see her poem series!!)
The other piece is that great artists learn from greats before them. I am old, but I am not stupid. My stroke took out my hands, but my mind remains. I am so in awe of Josh Turner, Reina del Cid and their human ability to join with and conspire with other talents to bring great art to humanity. Thank you!!
