I feel ya about all the repairs. Got my first car and it's a small Fird Transit Connect. It was second hand and I was pretty naive, not checking things like how often it was serviced. Long story short it needed a new oil tank after the first day. It was not serviced at all for 6 long years and is approaching 200k now, where all sorts of things have to be replaced. Needs new breaks, too. Whew... On the other hand it is a lot of fun and has given me unprecedented freedom! Still happy about that compromise.

Just this morning I was running around trying to find a toilet that was open at 6am. It was not fun. A composting toilet sounds like a great idea.

Check out Airhead composting toilets. The liquids are removable without having to open the solids (like Nature's Head). Hope you get the heater working! I use a Mr. Buddy but wish I had a built-in drier heater. Best wishes! :)

ya the compost toilet is the bees knees from what I hear. Im looking at getting the 170 extended and do a ceiling lowering bed type thing.

That's a bummer but it's actually gotten a lot nicer in Portland, I had to crack a window and turn a fan on low today.
We love Portland so it wont be too bad. :) Just really wanted to go to Whistler!
Have you checked and made sure that the fuel pump is hooked up in the correct direction? I put mine in backwards and it gave me similar issues. Once I reversed it only errored out one time and then worked perfectly. The thicker line on the fuel pump goes towards the fuel tank.
Figured out what was wrong..I guess if you have less than 1/4 tank, the heater doesn't work.. So all we had to do was fill up our gas.
Bummer on the heater. Boon docking at a cabelas currently. Our thetford porti potti comes in clutch. 👍🏻
You could always get a propane heater like a mr buddy

I heard a lot of people said not to put the battery under where you sleep. SOmething to do with your health.
Hmm interesting. I can see how that might have some effects..
that theory is possibly to do with the gasses given off during charging, as long as you have a drop out vent it should be fine, not sure if AGM batteries are as bad as normal batteries though, im sure google will tell you!
Your heater sounds like it is trying to ignite. You can hear in the video the striking of the spark sound. I know you really do not need amateur dork...Okay I may be a professional dork... spit balling..
My wife is has laid down the law on having the ability to pee at will and not outside with me holding a blanket.. LOL
