Same. When I open my mouth normally, my left side clicks very quietly, and then my right side clicks, a bit louder (both are most likely too quiet for anyone else to hear). I wonder if that's something to do with lockjaw. I hope not, because I certainly wouldn't want someone to have to push down on my jaw and then backwards, like he said, while I'm awake lol. I'd probably have to be knocked out with anaesthetic or something first lol 😂
I’ve never had this happen where it stayed open. But when I was younger I used to have my jaw lock closed, so I couldn’t open it all the way. Thankfully It does not happen anymore. Though it was pretty scary at the time.
I dealt with a locked jaw a few years after a horse accident in 1993. My jaw hit the ground full force leaving a huge gash and breaking some teeth. The worst moment was as I was eating a sandwich and my jaw locking. I just couldn't get it to unlock!! 🥺Yes! painful and very scary. But I remember kinda rubbing the sides of my jaw and kind of moving it back and forth very slowly and I managed to unlock it. I was so scared to bite food or even open my mouth to take a bite. It kinda fixed itself over the course of the years. I don't deal with that anymore thank God, however I do feel pain if I press the sides hard enough. Going to the dentist always gets me nervous since I have to open my mouth wide!😭😭
Hey Bentist please help me out. I have an overbite, its not severe. And i have a canine tooth mis-grown from my upper gum. My orthodontist suggested to take out 2 of my upper teeth. I am worried if that would ruin my perfectly visible jawline and facial aesthetics. What should i do.
This happened to me once when i fell asleep with my face against a car window on a long drive. Opened my mouth to yawn after i woke up and it got stuck. Somehow got it back in place without this specific technique, but it was freaky 😅
It happened to me and did not go back into place until I was given muscle relaxers. It was out of place for well over an hour and hurt a good deal. It has never been the same since on that side of my face. On that day forward, i have always been careful whenever I yawn or open wide while eating.
I yawned one morning and mine locked open. I couldn’t wake my wife as that would have e freaked her out and I wouldn’t have been able to explain. I knelt down on the floors in case I passed out . Felt what it was trying to do and was able to get it to move back. Scared the crap out of me. And my jaw was sore the rest of the day
I can crack my jaw on demand . Is that bad? My jaw actually makes noise constantly like a popping, knuckle cracking noise. And I'm actually In constant pain right where my joint comes together on the side of my face
I remember watching bizarre ER as a kid and a girl had this happen to her. They put loads of lolly sticks in her mouth to stretch her mouth open until it slid back into place.
@@Polish_Chihuahua I sometimes open my jaw to exercise it. I sing for fun too, maybe I exercised my jaw in a wrong way, that's why it started clicking.
It happens to me time to time, especially in the morning after I yawn. I just bite down and push up with my hands at the same time. You hear a loud thump after it closes. It hurts but not as much as you would think it does.
Umm.... My jaw pops like that nearly every day... And a couple times (like a minute ago, hence the video search that got me here) has shifted but always pops back over...
I just had to have my enire upper teeth pulled and im waiting on dentures. I cant believe I am 49 years old and lost my teeth. Its so sad that it cost so much to get the permanent snap in teeth. I wish i could get that. I cant afford it though. I had to sit there and cry while they pulled out my teeth. Why do the snap in teeth cost 20 thousand just for the top and thats at a lower priced dentist? So many people lives could be so much better if they could afford new teeth. I fell into a deep depression for 10 years because my dad was killed. So I wasn't taking proper care of myself. I'm suffering the consequences of it.
I look ugly in mirror ➡️ Becomes anxious/angry = brux x3 ➡️ stop doing that but CAN’T STOP ➡️ SOMEBODY PUT ME DOWN but the doctors not helping ➡️ Tries everything on UA-cam
Currently taking Alternative Herbal supplement and cleanser, Dr Emovon has been a great help. I am so happy seeing the quick improvement taking his treatment to get rid of my bad breath #dremovon...

I’M SO GLAD THE DAD ASKED HER WHAT CAUSED IT BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE🤣💯 He’s not stupid
Thanks doc for helping us
I’ve had lockjaw so many times, even when just eating but it always goes away. My brother said it’s called TMJ
You describe like its reassembling a toy, or a phone back together 😂 I've been having jaw pop lately and thank god it didn’t get locked though

I remember watching bizarre ER as a kid and a girl had this happen to her. They put loads of lolly sticks in her mouth to stretch her mouth open until it slid back into place.
Mr.bentist I really wanna ask a question and it’s about my braces how would I put my rubber bands if I wanna prevent an overbite?
Wait so my ortho knows abt the popping that happens with my jaw but is there a way to fix it? I have had it for abt a year or longer
My jaw.... Clicks...... I'll only open my mouth when I talk, eat, and drink.
Sooo... basically you open you mouthe just as often as every person?

Funny you should react to this. While not exactly the same I think you should react to The doctors My Jaw Is Destroying My Life! @TheBentist
