I really love your devlogs, the production value is great and the content is so informative. Thanks, and well done!
Dani's fans after seeing a single bit clip of dani's game : this video is THICC
this is so inspiring! I'm looking forward to Punch a Bunch!
4:38 get some help dude😂
Hey man! This is awesome. It was so cool to get to share a part of your development journey. Excellent Editing too! Thanks for making this!
I literally don’t get why you changed from Unity to Unreal when you ended up learning C++ from scratch anyway
you're so talented, that was incredible!
so he picked an engine that does most of the work for him,
also which is why most unreal games look the same, generic shaders / lights used over and over in every game.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!~
nice video, it's refreshing to see a dev log, that's more honest about doubts, worries and failures :d
Unity gang hit like!
Guess I'll like my own comment
Good luck in your adventure of Game development!
also, Please use the comic book style effects, it’s just very cool.
I started on the same journey, but stopped, thinking it wasn't possible, but looking at you, hope man. You've given me hope. Thank you.
It’s possible. Keep going!
Dude... you're game looks AMAZING
Oh hey, I have started my UNREAL journey this past August 22 with a budget of 0$, and man, I know zilch of programming but I know how to "talk to machines" (the logic behind it; don't get any funny ideas). Anyone who knows a bit of logic can start to learn how to program but I'm skipping courses because I know ain't going to make it on time to release it on the market before I go broke. I'm learning on the get go, banging my head against all the hurdles and any obstacles on my way to make this game to work. Your video is quite inspiring and bolstering my courage to keep going, so, thank you for sharing your experience with us and good luck with your future releases 😄
Super inspiring! I will definitely look into the blueprints course especially since it's on sale
Looks awesome! Obviously I don't have any hands-on experience with your game, but how you described leaning and throwing different punches sounded pretty intuitive!
I've also been developing a physics based game in Ue4 for awhile now. I had started about a year ago and eventually sat it down after 3 months. I started watching you during your second Punch-A-Bunch video and eventually picked my project back up. I'm far from releasing it, but you've been an inspiration to me. Thank you, Ponty Pants.
That's epik! :) I'm glad you were able to get back into your project - I know what it feels like
@@Pontypants Thank you again, Ponty!
This video is so entertaining and inspirational at the same time 😂👍 can't wait to see the finished product.
Brilliant videos and the informal yet informative style. Good luck.
Great Vid! You could add VR to make your game even more realistic.
I've been interested in making a game since I like playing games so much and have plenty of ideas! 😁
Glad to see someone really sticking to it, super stoked to see you launch the game. KEEP UP, PLAYER
UA-cam algorithm works in weird ways sometimes. I created a robot boxing game in like a month and a half for my class project. It was no where near this quality though. Game mechanics wise this game has a lot of stuff. Thank you UA-cam for recommending this video it was fun to watch.
Hey You have a new subscriber! I started Unreal 1 month ago and still did not finish the course I am doing. You video motivated me to go along with it. Even with my few years with Unity and C#, I am finding it difficult to cope up with C++. Thanks for the videos! Wish me luck! :)
Cant wait for this game, looks amazing!
Can't lie, I don't watch every dev log you make but just wanted to say your determination keeps me going on my own game development. Whenever I feel like quitting, your dev log shows up on my youtube and I consider quitting more because compared to you my coding knowledge is terrible and you've been doing it for 6 months. But I see you and I decided not to quit. Keep it up bro.
Keep it up! Don't give up :) So glad my videos inspire you :) Comments like yours inspire me too :)
Amazing job Pontypants! Keep up the great work with Punch A Bunch!
Thanks! And a huge thank you for teaching me how to make games in the first place ^.^
Probably one of the best boxing games! I like the style so much! Thx for sharing!
As someone who started around the same time I'm super jealous. Beautiful work truly. I'm working on a MMA game and it's been fun but quite a bit. I'm grateful to see some of this nature be soooooo good!
Your progress is amazing for 6 months of gamedev. Hope you stick with it. The results are great and your game looks very cool!
