Leo Faulkner is believed to be the singer, sure I'll get hate but you wanted to know. Blacklit Canopy was his previous duo.
“All it takes is for one track to make a band blow up.”
He knew 2 years before it happened
Gods will add a layer to the puzzle you haven't heard yet vocally. Dark Signs will add a layer to the puzzle you haven't heard yet musically. Nazareth might be the most "similar" feeling to what you have heard so far.... Have fun, they are all good.
Glad to see someone else repping Dark Signs, it doesn't get as much attention as Jaws, Higher and The Offering but by fuck is it a banger
@@ReXtion88 best song on that album, along with Sugar and BS, for definite 🤘
Gods, Calcutta and Sugar are some of their best songs. Definitely check them out!
Edit: I changed my mind. All of their songs are their best songs. Sundowning is one of the best albums I’ve ever listened too
+1
How you feeling now that you've probably had a chance to listen to TPWBYT?
Now would you look at that. YT hit me with this vid and I hear my name haha. This song's a vibe, your reaction is a vibe. Liked and Subbed. keep doing the damn thing my friend.
Only seeing this now. My man!
1. Nazareth (my favorite ST track ever)
2. Dark Signs
3. Give
4. Gods
5. Blood Sport
When the whole song comes together ❤️ goosebumps everytime I hear it coming at that 5:40 minute mark
Blood sport will make you cry on camera
Now you have the JAWS alarm riff thing stuck in your head for like 2 weeks.
One is under-rated af. Fields of Elation and When the Bough Breaks are amazing songs
WHYYYYY ISN'T THIS COMMENT TOP!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Absolutely fucking agree
Thier come up is fucking amazeballs in real time 🤣🤣
As someone who knows who they are I’m sorry I refuse to tell anyone. Even if someone is dying to know, vessel himself doesn’t like it when that happens.
React to give by sleep token, defiantly one of their lighter tracks but it’s my favorite one
Goosebumps every time too 🙌 That’s how you know it’s a good one
Crazy to find this 2 years later and know where they are now, finishing out a massive tour selling out wembley. 😮
This song is magnificent.. makes my mind more than mellow. Something.!?
Man Sleep Token blow my mind everytime I hear them. Sundowning is unbelievable, I think the EPs and singles set up the album perfectly. I would recommend reacting to Spirit box, Enter Shikari or Tallah. 🤘
Cén scéal, a Drew? Great to see more Sleep Token here again, and Jaws is another brilliant song to sink yer teeth into. Really, if you like all you've heard of 'em so far, you are bound to like pretty much all their stuff. "God" is a really heavy banger, while something like "Sugar" has that smooooth falsetto layering down the poppier sweetness spiked with some face bashin' grooves. Their recent album, "Sundowning" is really good all the way. And for something that really hits ya right in the senses, you gotta go with "Levitate". Thats a very emotive, powerful song.
Just wanted to say thank you for showing this band
Been listening to them for a few months already, and I found them from your videos, and they are already one of my favorite bands ever, their song are so amazing, so we'll produced and omg, vessel's voice is something else
ALSO TAKE AIM IS SOOOO FREAKING GOOD TOO!! Slower but still 🔥
Dark Signs now!
I really liked watching you enjoy Sleep Token!
Sleep Token- When the Bough Breaks
Yessss.. can't wait to watch when I get off work. You should consider doing vola - head mounted sideways. For a smaller band it's got pretty crazy views in a short while and I know a songs legit when my gf asks for it all the time 😂
Drag Me Under brings me to tears 🥹🥹🥲🥲😌😌🖤
Fucking Worship 🤘🏻😴
If it slapps your heart, thats all that matters.
Also i subscribed, liked and shared to my friend who i just showed this band and shes obsessed like me
Love the reactions -- that intro/outro music though needs some visiting. Your chill voice followed by how loud that music is startled me LOL
Drew!🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 What's the craic man!
How’s things man!
Cool brutha just watchin videos and smokin sum bowls lol
Lower the volume of your intro/outro or boost the audio of your videos, the difference is insanely startling! 🤯
also maybe fade it in because good god it startled me
The offering was one that kept my hairs standing, you can feel that song in your bones man
Love the video! Such a great song. I believe ‘Thread the Needle’ is their earliest track, and contains all their great elements (plus a BADASS video to that one)... ‘Calcutta’ is simply exquisite... ‘’Gods’ is their most brutal... ‘’When the Bough Breaks’ demonstrates the staggering breadth of their stylistic range all in one song... They literally don’t have a song that’s less than great, in my opinion.
React to sleep token - blood sport (from the room below) its an amazing vocal performance from vessel
Calcutta and Nazareth are older, back from their second EP. I started with Sundowning, their full LP, and worked my way back. Definitely 2 of my favorites.
Finally! Jaws is a true gift to mankind. Also, if you want to dig into their older stuff, I cannot recommend Calcutta enough.
Culcutta hits me hard.
What a song. They deserve everything. Worship
Little easter egg if you will: the alarm sounding beep melody that runs through a lot of the song actually spells out S.O.S. (. . . _ _ _ . . .)
We all knew they would blow up Drew...was just a matter of time! Music game changers. The have set the bar of what music is capable of being! TOOL 2.0 in my opinion
definitely check out their song 'Blood sport' next!! they have both the original and all piano version called 'blood sport- from the room below' which is so beautiful!
The singers name is vessel
im pushing the narrative that the singer is jonathan ng from Eden. i compared teeth and adams apple prominence as well as jaw structure since all you have is the bottom of vessel's face to go from. aside from vocally sounding very similar all of those things match up too.
Sleep Token - Nazareth
Hell YES.
BFG 10,000. To continue your Doom videos, this one I highly recommend. Super meaty and dirty.
OR. Goroth by Andrew Hulshult. It's from Quake, and Andrew now makes the music for Doom, so, it's tangential but related.
Just did it man, holy fuck
@@DrewFortune97 It rocks hard, that's for true
Vektor- recharging the void
Hurray! Happy you got back to Sleep Token!! Thanks a lot my guy foreal, please react to Nazareth by Sleep Token❤️
Gotta push TesseracT - Dystopia/Hexes and Karnivool - Deadman. 🤘
Hes the vessel for the god sleep
Sleep Token is the shit. Worship.
WORSHIP
More Sleep Token!
If you're into djent just check out TesseracT!
Dark signs is thir best song
wait theres mixed reactions for sleep token? since when?!
Guys, you don’t have to tell him the singers identity. The singer goes by Vessel.
I love you lol
😍😍😍
My friend! It’s time to react to Metropolis pt.1 by Dream Theater! I keep on nagging you with comments about this song, but for a good reason! Please do it! All your Dream Theater fans will be very very pleased💯🤘
Sugar or Gods
Do Nazareth, it's life changing.
Haken - Carousel
React to The night does not belong to god by sleep token
Please Drew!! do yourself a favour and listen to SLEEP TOKEN - Nazareth its a "sequel" to this song
Say that you will
Give
TAKE AIM (OH MY GOD THIS TRACK)
Blood sport
The night does not belong to god
Please react to these. these are the best imho
Amon Amarth - War of the Gods
Amon Amarth - Free Will Sacrifice
Amon Amarth - Valhall Awaits Me
Power Trip - Divine Apprehension
Power Trip - Hornet’s Nest
Power Trip - Crucifixation
I know who the singer is, and I can tell you you've never heard of him, and I can pretty much guarantee nobody else has either. It's better to just appreciate him from behind the screen right now
Agreed, the fact that he was practically an unknown, makes this so much more satisfying.
The worst is this, that i havent fav ST songs. IMO all are the best and i cant offer (xd) next the best song. Try NAZARETH. The most intresting imo.
The Night Does Not Belong To God and Bloodsport.
Please.
DARK SIGNS, GODS, BLOODSPORT, THE NIGHT DOES NOT BELONG TO GOD!!!!!
You need to get 60 fps videos man
The singer is Leo Faulkner, enjoy!
Ye, Sleep Token is too good. On another note i gotta say i dont like this new channel intro. Sounds too loud and high pitched :/
Noted. Just threw it together man, I’ll play around with it and get it right!
@@DrewFortune97 :) 100k soon!
It probably is the vocalist that makes this band so divisive. I have actually gotten quite into them, but I definitely get annoyed by the singer despite the obvious talent. I can look past him and enjoy everything else though.
Bruh WHAT please explain what annoys you about the singer
@@Kreverend520v2 @Kyle Richards Difficult to explain. I guess it is a sort of indie/R&B sound that ... I don't know... what I am hearing sounds like forced sex appeal, and it makes for some difficult listening. I think it has a lot to do with tone. I get this a lot with certain indie/singer song writer vocals where the sound is like someone is singing through puckered lips and... well, just doesn't sit with me at all. It is tough to put my finger on it, but that is what I experience with this group, which is frustrating because I thoroughly enjoy everything else about them.
The singer definitely has R&B influences. I don’t think forced sex appeal are the right words for it. What they make is really different, and the heavy contrast the vocals provide against the instrumentals is what makes them so unique. I mostly see purists having a problem with their sound, but a real music lover wouldn’t keep their tastes so isolated to anyone genre. What a boring way to experience music. The blurring of genre lines and experimentation is much appreciated, at least by myself.
