- In this video, I'll take you step-by-step through the process of making silver bars, which I recently had the pleasure of experiencing firsthand. I was fortunate enough to be invited to Jim Forsythe's metal shop at Silverback Precious Metals, along with Ian Everard from ArkSilver, where we learned the ins and outs of silver bar production. Man oh man! I have been purchasing silver bars for many years and I can certainly appreciate the work that goes into making these beautiful bars. I have just subscribed.
Great video. Didn't realize all the work Jim does to come up with these treasures. Loved seeing Ian, have had the pleasure to deal with him and his team and all are great people.
Thank you Miguel, and yes, everyone is working hard to bring Silver to the people

Stay safe in that workshop. Clearly lots of opportunity to squash an arm or to get badly burned.
Wow this was really cool to see! Thanks for sharing Roberto, appreciate it as always. One day I'd like to run my own mini mint
Gives me a new perspective on premiums!
New appreciation for the amount of work that goes into it. Would love to see coins or minted bars.
Absolutely!
Way cool production video, Was always curious how silvershot was made.
Very cool. Thanks Rob, Jim and Ian. True Patriots. God Bless and Congratulations 100 thousand ounce bars. Thats impressive 👍😎
Thanks! They are doing their part, God bless them
Very interesting. Thank you for sharing this information
Fun! Look forward to receiving my bars!
Thanks for the support!
I love seeing how it’s made I would love to visit the factory’s and watch it 😊
fascinating video, thanks for sharing the process gents!
This is so cool. Amazing to see it like this.
If you get to do it you will find that is really fun
Rob this was great, thank you for sharing!
You are welcome!
just because... graphite isn't a metal
Well it shares properties with it that’s close enough
True
Kyanite is an aluminum silicate mineral that is used as an additive in the production of crucibles and molds.
Super informative! I always wondered how those small cast silver bars were made. Great video!
Myself being a CNC machinist I was shocked to see a saw cutting that Swiss bar at the beginning as opposed to a sheer or some kind of forming or fracturing method. Do you guys do anyting to collect the silver chips?
We indeed collect the chips and centrifuge, rinse, centrifuge again and repeat. Then into the granulator. They cast great.
Received my first 1kg silver bar yesterday. 😊
That was sweet
Super cool. I need to talk to you Rob. I’m eligible to take 10 X 1000 ounce silver bars out of Sprott’s PSLV. Been wondering what to do with it, but I’d like to go down this road.
robert(at)goldsilverpros(dot)com 🙂
@@freedomreport I’ll be in touch.
Cool this is something I’ve thought about doing. Esp when it trades at a discount. When the market is hot we would buy 10 in two weeks.
That was cool. Thnx
Ian holding the 2 bars,looks like he's a kid in a candy store!👍
Right right!? 😂
Awesome!!
living your best lives. Wish I was there
How does the process affect purity? You start with 9999 but then introduce shavings from the saw, crucible material, etc. Basically all the stuff that wears out ends up in the silver. Negligible?
Very kool!
Great content!👍👍
That was awesome 👏🏼
I want 2
Hi Judie, thanks for the support, you can request them "Silver is Freedom" 10oz Silver Bar Ark Silver: bit.ly/ArkSilver
Addictive 😂 I only wish I had 1000oz. 🙂 WOW, on showing the production.
What is the reason for the vacuum portion of the furnace? We have a furnace at work for tool steel i was gonna put one of my molds in it and see how the shot melts into the mold vs pouring it into the mold. Im wondering if it work without having the vacuum portion
Great Vid! That big bar WAS too nice to cut up! I thought you'd use one of those ugly star ingots! My friend and me were going to purchase a 100oz bar together and cut it with a hack saw...good thing we didn't or it would have been instant scrap. Laser burning the numbers on the bars makes them BETTER than COINS I think!
awesome
I once owned a 100 Troy ounce Englehard bar I could pick up with one hand. I sold it for Christmas money one year, got about $700 for it. Yeah, that was a few years ago.
Those are treat!
@@freedomreport To be honest, I don't even know what that means. Those are treat?
Good fun
Love silver am a stacker.
There’s probably over a kilo of silver in shards around the cutting machine
You ever thought about cutting it hydrologically? Using something similar to the jaws of life
Where can i get all this machines to make silver bars?
I'm addicted 😅
In case of zombie werewolf attacks, can we get some silver bullets and hand to hand defense weapons?
We have a friend who actually does Silver bullets and a revolver barrel. Is in the channel!
I would love to get a 1koz bar! Way to go guys!!! Please, someone with an EDM machine let these guys use your machine to cut out some bitchin’ bars!!
That was a "Great" set up. That being said, it showed me that making bars is better left to the artists/artisans/and commercial professionals.
Hello Guys, can I buy direct from you? Thanks Angel
So now maybe people won't bitch so much about the premiums.
IMPOSSIBLE! 😂
Very cool
Wow! Amazing 😂
18:27 do it
I should
I have done 50 percent of what he did but with my early life in engineering Gas turbine Parts ..well done.. addiction warning
Time to put that knowledge to casting Silver bars he he
Two men in a garage vs government backed silver. I'll pay the premium
"Fabrication facility"
😂🤣😂
Its called a shed
Do you become addicted to the real money
This video is cool, but your cut's feel very abrupt, and the sped up portions are very in your face.
That’s how silver bars were done in the dark ages, it’s 2024 and technology has moved on!!!
3 Phase Thanks Nikola Tesla 369
Graphite is not a metal.
Buy Silver and Platinum.
Nice video, thank you
