Nah, Minowa asked for the fight. He asked for super heavy weights all the time, and he won against some monsters multiple times. Look him up and check out some other fights. He beat Butter Bean in less than 2 rounds, if I remember correctly. He beat Giant Silva just about as fast.

In MMA it used to be no weight classes, now most fights and nearly all tournaments go after weight classes, after those rules only a 120kg+ guy would have fought this sumo Brazilian. The thing is, in a real life situation, there are no weight classes, on the other hand if you need to be double you're healthy weight to win a competition it's not right either.... I personally think you should have fights regardless of weight, but for tournaments/trophies the only fair thing is to have opponents with very similar weight
