Wish Upon A Blackstar, one of the most anticipated albums of the year, is a masterwork by a master artist. The album's sixteen songs seamlessly blend genres from Electro and Dubstep to Rock and Orchestral with an intricacy and precision seldom heard in today's Electronic music. But it's not just studio wizardry and digital complexity; even the best production has little staying power without strong songcraft to back it up, and this is where Celldweller brings his deeply honed songwriting ability to bear, making Wish Upon A Blackstar an album that will long outlast its contemporaries. Truly epic in scope and execution, Wish Upon A Blackstar will not only leave a lasting mark on the always-changing landscape of Electronic music, but will stand the test of time as a remarkable statement of artistic virtue in a sea of disposable trends.

Celldweller, Blowing minds since late 1990s.
since scandroid
circle of dust and argyle park existed from the early to mid 90s
Celldweller is a beast. He managed to get togheter Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Rock, and it's totally amazing!
Klayton is a your favorite GigaChad's favorite GigaChad. The guy has multiple music projects, a record company, and works out enough to be jacked into his 50's.
I can't believe it's been long enough to feel nostalgic from this
When I was 19, my first job was a cart pusher at Walmart in the delightful 110°F heat. This song i distinctly remember blasting on repeat the day i got heat stroke lmao. This song hits my nostalgia knob just right
And here we are 10 years later!
@@Matt-pi9jo and counting :)
How does it feel 4 years later man
Where has this artist been all my life?!?!
I know right!
3 years ago i heard one song from Celldweller and i only for a moment saw a name. i searched Dweller in Cell and similar things for 3 years, and this morning finally found the real name :D
About 3 years ago I stumbled upon Celldweller's Ursa Minor in a fan-made Evangelion AMV, I liked it enough to check out Celldweller's other stuff and have been listening it him ever since.
I heard his music in Deadrising 2 and I got hooked from there
Bumped into scandroid by accident and comments lead me here.
Klayton has defined his own genre. Unmatchable.
IMO, this song is a prime example of how well sounds usually of dubstep and drum & bass can amalgamate.
All of Celdweller's songs deserve million views.
D'n'B+DubStep+Metal=AWESOMENESS!
music of the gods
celldweller is saviour
Na hes negan
This is far beyond boundaries of any genre.
Still here and forever will!
SAME HERREEE
Agreed. Music is evolving past the bounds of genre, and becoming defined by the artist. As it should be
2:02 - 2:07 is a nice catchy section.
My favorite is 2:23 - 2:45
@@thmahnd that strangely gives me battlefield 2142 vibes
I find the whole thing awesome
I have to say... Addicted to this....
I agree
Luke Skywalker Not everyday you get a response from the best Jedi in Star Wars!
Oh yeah, it definitely happens with every Celldweller song. I thought Eon was 'pretty good' at first, now I think it's beyond amazing.
But there's just something about this song for me...every single time I listen to it, it's like the sheer energy and raw, universe-defying badass-ness increases one hundred-fold, and will never stop.
i have been hearing the celldweller songs for more than 6 years... still loving each one of them :3 i don't know what does he have but it make you feel great when you hear him :D
I've been listening to these for at least 2 tears now, but I think I've heard these songs my whole life.
OMG THE FIRST SOUND WAS JUST AWESOME, THIS SONG IS PURE GENIUS...i honestly got goose bumps listening to this song. Amazing Song and from what i have listen to an amazing Album. Klayton has truly went beyond the boundaries and made this album one hell of a great Piece of work he has worked on.
This is "halftime Drum & Bass" known as "Drumstep". This tune is around 170 BPM, dubstep is obviously around 140 BPM. Get The facts right people. But anyway.. this is maybe the best tune i have heard in 2012. Big up Celldweller for twisting and turning the electronic music genre!
Wow. Celldweller is really the only electronic band that I can listen to multiple of their songs... Well done!
This is the best of Wish upon a blackstar!!!
That guitar solo is amazing !
Thank you GTA Stunts video. You have made me find a new artist to listen to!
same
Nick McKay welcome to the land of celldweller, why don't you stay a while?
Gondrak A while? I've been here since I commented! Cellmate for life :D
Nick McKay holy crap that reply was faster than i anticipated!
Gondrak :D
This song is so blood pumping. Please give me back the memories of the time I had blood pressure below "Always Hyped"!
Beat saber got me here! The songs are very good
i know celldweller for a long time now and just came back to this materpiece and it still gives me chills.
That rare intersection of electronica and rock.
Done well enough that I actually don't feel like it's violated. The last time I heard a band with such smooth transitions, it was either Pink Floyd or Daft Punk.
This song is perfect
All hail our lord and savior Celldweller
7filmsangel fuck off xd
I think Klayton would dislike that comment
AND WATCHING...
AND WAITING...
This is possibly the most epic song i have ever heard.
now this REALLY deserves more upvotes
Where can I find more songs that match this level of energy? I have listened to most of Klayton's discography, and most songs are amazing, but this, this is on another level.
It doesn’t have guitars or lyrics, but I’d recommend some of billain’s work. This song reminded me of billain & vorso - transhumanist
that VR headset he's wearing in the album art is cool

Wow! Great song. Got me pumped up! >:)
klayton is the genre consumer. no genre is enough for him, and no amount of his music is enough for me
I love this song!!
SO AWESOME!!!!!
those drumbs at 3:04 - 3:27 just to epic
Listened to this album so many times ... Still getting goosebumps all over the place

Celldweller: One of the few dubstep producers I actually enjoy listening to.
You are very talented Celldweller.
Pure awesomeness...
Amazing!!!!
Pizza and Celldweller. The perfect evening.
WOOO! going through SPACE and TIME
klayton is just too good at mixxing different styles of music to make amazing songs
awesome !!!!!!
OWNED!!!!
this song is... Beautiful
great genre mix!
It's a little more imaginative than music out now. It's a story being told-not in one song of course but through the course of the album. Ya know something you don't have to be high to be able to picture something extraordinary.
awesome song by celldweller BEST SONG EVER MADEEE
i dont know what its just so awsome!
Klayton, you're on the right way. Just keep going ♥
Right on
yesss finally more Celldweller!!!!!
This song gets more and more awesome the more I listen to it :P

Exellent👌👌👌
I had heard shapeshifter before but got back into your music as more than "just another song" when ik heard this song in a video of beat saber I was watching

I cannot un-hear that now. Damn you!
Yeah I LOVE
Big Tune
love the dubstep in this song
I love it goes great with my battles.
The only problem I have is that during my fights my headphones fall out and my enemies have to wait until I plug them back in... It's kind of embarrassing
Woaaahhhhhh!!!
There is no such thing as random sound. Listen widely enough and there's music in everything.
The bass in my headphones are amazing!
Have the bass up all the way! And just sit back!
This is a throwback
thank you insane vinyl. your logic is infallible.
I don't know why but the sound starting at 0:43 reminds me of Mass Effect for some reason heh, may be because it sounds futuristic :P
Listening to this song with headphones is CRAZY
This shook the entire town I was in.
i still remember when i used one of his songs in a crysis 3 beta video and he knew about it asap and thought it was cool, what a legend this man use to be and still is, was back when PC graphics cards were in the GTX 500 series so yall know how old that was
This song makes washing up so much more fun.
THAT DROP !!
Man this sound really nicely made for a boss. >w
That guy has some awesome ski goggles and makes amazing music
They R SIRIUS.
1995, I came across a cd.... "BrainChild" I have been a Klayton fan since, and he has only ever improved upon his artwork.
