@@NickQuarfordTf are you talking about, Celldweller already “sold out” years ago doing Dead Rising 2, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel and Need For Speed: Underground. 2:50 Time, Love. Both of the chapters names in the song. It is being hypothesized that the next chapter names are Dreams and Death because of the following lyric. Just a little interesting factoid.
Once upon a time, a sweet lovely woman named Wish Upon A Blackstar appeared. She was beautiful and graceful with sweet melodies that blended well and synths that could make a man drown in tears. Then before her appeared a gruff man named Celldweller (The Album). He was more rigged and based with drums and many riffs that felt sad and powerful, but he himself knew how to push through the pain and became great. They approached each other... fell in love... and had amazing wild sex. After nine months, this amazing child was born with both heavily well blended riffs and absolutely gorgeous synths. He was named... End of an Empire. Theeeeee end. ^^

Klayton is one wicked bastard... :D There are parts of song where he divided 1st voice with 1st guitar and 2nd voice with 2nd guitar into separated stereo channels.
Thank you so much Klayton for creating this song, it is indeed the end of an empire. Although it’s kind of sad that this song reminds me of a game of mmorpg (like RF online) that I used to play with my friends a long time ago. Sadly, our game services didn’t properly reach their agreements with the server moderators and closed our favorite game. So we had to say our last goodbyes and close our game. Listen closely to the lyrics of many of his songs. It's allusory to the matters of the world many try to call "reality". He's brings truth, in musical form. True soul music
I think it's not just pointless squealing noises, in the end, when he does it it's like a staccato of shots, or the thump of artillery in a battery, a part of the whole of the song, not just an emotional tear into it.

+Gunter I disagree. The phrase can mean you are good at many different skills but someone who specializes in 1 skill will still be better. In general, the more skills you are able to perform, the fewer weaknesses you'll have. Just because you may not be the best in anything, doesn't mean you are worthless. Where others fail because the task is outside their comfort zone, you'll thrive.
+Gunter i also disagree with this statement. because the true saying is "jack of all trades but king of none" which means they are good at multiple tasks but do not excel in one.
To the people in the comments: Klayton likes for everyone to find their own personal meanings in the music that he makes, so there's no need to tell a fellow listener that they're wrong about what the songs meaning is supposed to be. Just let people have their own opinions, and please be respectful.
Indeed , I found Brainchild Circle of dust in 1995 when I was an Xtian -28n years on and now a Coven Master in an Order of 9 angles ( one of many Satanist orders ) I still love his music . Allthough still get irritated by the reminders of how much of Melek T'aus's holy wyrd has been appropriated to create the vile Xtian lie employed by Emperor Constantine to cement Rome's power over the masses and perpetuated by the decieved . I'd be telling my child about Trent Reznor, if it weren't for my decision not to procreate. Klayton is definitely a worthy artist, but tbh, it's not fair to put him beside legends... On the other hand, who wants mainstream anyway? NIN blowing up the way it did was a glitch in the matrix. It's perfectly fine to remain in your own niche. IMO, achieving broad popularity is the path of misery and hardly does you any good, besides getting filthy rich and addicted to drugs.
+Seelmiles i can draw manga and maybe comics but that will take me much longer so I'm better for manga or anime but you probbably dont care about anime or like it or comics and think I'm an idiot who's terrable at grammer and should kill herself!!.... because that has happened before.
I don't get it. First it was "too much dubstep", now it's "meh, not that great". What the hell people?! Klayton doesn't make music by how other people tell him, but by how he sees it best. If he wanted people telling him what to do, no one would be here right now, so be a little more considerate. Personally, I find the heavy riffs combined with fast DnB beats the most epic sound there is and not a lot of people make it, even less make it sound this good. (possibly no one else) Klay, keep up the awesome work!
That's freedom of speech for you. But yeah, there is a big difference between a fan demanding that an artist changes their sound, and a fan saying they don't like the artists sound; one's a demand and the other's an opinion. Lord knows I wish more people had opinions about my music, but that's an unrelated point.
Normally when a band I like releases a new album, I tend not to like it at first, sometimes it grows on me and sometimes not but this is fantastic right from the first time hearing it. I think this album will be absolutely fantastic. :)
qwertyqwrtyqwertyuio I know that but I can't really think of a better word to use. I was referring to other bands anyway. Also, Celldweller is kinda like a one man band.
Purchased this album when it came out, was building my own radio for my car and all I had to listen to was this album on my phone and a bluetooth speaker. Even after the 3 months of listening to only this album when commuting, I often still play it when working or at home. It's helped me get through some tough times. Thanks Klayton, I'd like to shake your hand one day.
Man I loved being a fan when this was just releasing. I remember clearly when Time released and I heard this song and I realised that it wasn't just celldweller and wish upon a black star. I knew Klayton will continue to only get better. You cannot descibe the feeling I had when I heard his song playing in Planetarium in Warsaw, Poland during a space show on planetariums celeing screen. An artist I loved for over a decade making it out of first internet, than gaming, then tv, and then even into the sciences. Insane.
Klayton, i really love your music :D especially since its not all about love. no love songs here, just badass instruments and vocals that arent annoying! i love it!
This song is too damn amazing... I don't remember when or why I stopped listening to celldweller, but I'm officially putting an end to that unnecessary hiatus.
Holy cow, I rediscovered this song after like 3 years. Making me feel one heck of an emotion Edit: December of 2020 now. Once again rediscovering it. Nostalgia is hitting like a train, and I’ve got the song on repeat like I used to. Edit 2: March of 2024. I’m sure there’s a deep meaning behind this song circling back into my feed when it does. Definitely a throwback to different times.
I don't get everyone here, first "too much dubstep" and now "you can do better". Make up your damn minds or be thankful Klaytons making music and enjoy it.
Celldweller is back. With a bang! This new track incorporates all the things I love about his music and also brings new elements to the table! I love how progressive it is! It's 7:30 minutes long and yet when I listen to it, it does not feel that long at all. I also like how there are different acts: a beginning, an interlude and an ending - helps in telling the story. It is a bit repetitive with all the "It's an end of an empire" lines, but, honestly, that doesn't really bother me at all. Overall, a great start of what would most definitely end up being a great concept album! Can't wait for the rest of the Chapter to release! Klayton will always do what he feels is right with his music and I wouldn't have it any other way!
This is so beautiful, it gives me a rollercoaster ride through my feelings. And those goosebumps all the time. Thank you Celldweller for such a masterpiece of music, it is really amazing.
ARGH! Why does no one know about this guy?! not even 300 thousand views?!?! EVERYONE'S heard his music (in movies and games), and his stuff is SO WELL produced, and diversified! I've been a fan of Klay since his Circle of Dust days, and followed ALL of his projects. love everything this guy touches. favourite artist BY FAR
To all those ppl who moan about the repeating lyrics: if you understood them you would have a right to say that... he feels they need repeating as it seems no one realises he is talking about the real world... almost all of the songs he has done have such an important message to humanity, and like most artists no one gets it... damn it must be frustrating for them :(
To me metal and DnB go together like peanut butter and jelly. I can't believe this sound is just so obscure and difficult to find. Any other song recommendations for tracks like this are appreciated.
Klayton operates under two music names- Celldweller and Scandroid. Check out Scandroid- The End of Time. Scandroid also does a Very good mix for Michael Jackson's- Thriller. Zardonic is also pretty decent. Hope this helps. Edited for added content: I was wrong, Klayton has 3 music names. Circle of Dust is the third. Check Circle of Dust- Hivemind
Huh, there's a lot of people with different opinions here... But I don't care what anyone else says, I will love Klayton's music no matter how it changes! :D
This is actually really good. I normally don't like screaming (outside of metal) or electronic, but this combines the two nicely. Actually kind of reminds me of the kind of music they'd use for combat in a Devil May Cry game, which is definitely a positive.
This is all one person, clayton. Best music of all time. He works under celldweller, scandroid, and freqgen. And what's cool is that all of it was him. Also he doesn't have one bad song in my opinion. My top 30 songs are all from him
This is not just lyrics or Genres or music, this is ART, deal with it Celldweller fan since 2003 and he did more epic and intelligent music then others in there whole career Klayton for President, greetings from Germany. Celldweller, keep going and push more

At the edge of the hellfire
It's the end of an empire
In the line of the gunfire
It's the end of an empire
Again, again, again
It's the end of an empire
A start, an end, a rise and fall
No system eternal and no one immortal
Creation all must end in destruction
We cannot change the fate of civilization
Start, end
We build up the symbols of power
Rise, fall
Constructs of a mortal mind
Life span
Conquer in our brightest hour
Mortal
But then we all must fall in time
Through space and time
We can't escape this paradigm
At the edge of the hellfire
It's the end of an empire
In the line of the gunfire
It's the end of an empire
Again, again
It's the end of an empire
Time, love
Kingdoms, each of us reigning
Dreams, death
Over the realms of our hearts and minds
Space, mind
Conscious that death is awaiting
Sea, pit
But even death will end in time
Through space and time
We can't escape this paradigm
At the edge of the hellfire
It's the end of an empire
In the line of the gunfire
It's the end of an empire
Again, again
It's the end of an empire
In the death of a desire
It's the end of an empire
At the close of a lifetime
It's the end of an empire
At the edge of the hellfire
It's the end of an empire
In the line of the gunfire
It's the end of an empire
Again, again, again, again
It's the end of an empire
Again
It's the end of an empire
We're falling into the unknown
Another ending that's beginning to unfold
We're falling into the unknown (it's the end)
Another ending that's beginning to unfold
It's the end of an empire
We're falling into the unknown (it's the end)
Another ending that's beginning to unfold
It's the end
We're falling into the unknown (it's the end)

2014 me: Wow, what a great song
2021 me: WE CANNOT CHANGE THE FATE OF CIVILIZATION
*sick guitar riff*

WE BUILD UP SYMBOLS OF POWER
Alot of things will go wrong before it goes better, that's the case with everything.
AGAIN, AGAIN.....AGAIN..... IT'S THE END OF AN EMPIRE
History doesn't repeat, but it sure as hell rhymes.
Correction: WE CANNOT CHANGE THE FATE OF *C I V I L I Z A T I O O O O N N*
hello from 2023: Good luck We are f**ked
It's 2023 and I'm still here vibin
Its 2024 and im still here vibin
That moment when you get the idea of an animation when listening to a song...
Only to remember you can't even draw a damn simple normal guy.
True Story... every time i think at the line "In the Gun Fire" on 1000 Napolionic Soldiers shooting at the same time :D
+Seelmiles i can draw manga and maybe comics but that will take me much longer so I'm better for manga or anime but you probbably dont care about anime or like it or comics and think I'm an idiot who's terrable at grammer and should kill herself!!.... because that has happened before.
dude same
+Washu “Goddess Of Awesome Power” Hakubi Chousin That got pointlessly dark, very fast, but I understand what you mean.
chris ebbs sorry people always hate me for no reason and I have no idea if the person who made this post likes anime or comics.
(possibly no one else)
Klay, keep up the awesome work!
That's freedom of speech for you. But yeah, there is a big difference between a fan demanding that an artist changes their sound, and a fan saying they don't like the artists sound; one's a demand and the other's an opinion. Lord knows I wish more people had opinions about my music, but that's an unrelated point.
I totally agree with you. Klayton's music is badass
@Lil Yeet Pretty sure he was just giving encouragement to Klayton for doing his own thing. Like "keep doing what you do!"
Ben Knight
A fan telling his « idol » to change isn’t a fan.
It's the same way everyone shits on offworld, which is a masterfully created album.
Celldweller songs are a whole experience
I was listening to this before I went to bed and it lulled me to sleep! 10/10.
I feel like I should be worried for you lol :D
+DICE i feel like i should be worried for myself too!! ☺️😀
SAVAGE! XD
If you didn't dream about a gigantic Tower falling then I'm disappointed ;D
I fall sleep to this kind of music
i fell asleep listening to the whole album dreaming all about it. i wake up stunned.
this was uploaded in my 2nd birthday and it still is alive
10 лет, а актуальности не теряет🔥
Super snail 🐌
Those summer days of 2020 make me listen this track again.
Same goes for me
Well this IS the end of an empire... =/
Actually i just dicovered him
@@Getyourwishh Wish I could do the same
@@antonzhdanov9653 everything has a beginning and an end..
Normally when a band I like releases a new album, I tend not to like it at first, sometimes it grows on me and sometimes not but this is fantastic right from the first time hearing it. I think this album will be absolutely fantastic. :)
Its not even a band, its one guy.
qwertyqwrtyqwertyuio I know that but I can't really think of a better word to use. I was referring to other bands anyway. Also, Celldweller is kinda like a one man band.
***** How about artist? :P
***** I always though celldweller had Blue Stahli helping him out and some other guys.
DenzelRealm Blue Stahli helps with the live shows but as far as I know, the albums are all Klayton.
I came to listen to this track many years later. I'm in tears, I grew up listening to his songs. Thanks for the childhood, Klayton🫡🥹
Очень атмосферно звучит!
Мне нравится!!!
Мечтаю добиться тех же успехов как и Celldweller.
Пацан к успеху шёл

Purchased this album when it came out, was building my own radio for my car and all I had to listen to was this album on my phone and a bluetooth speaker. Even after the 3 months of listening to only this album when commuting, I often still play it when working or at home. It's helped me get through some tough times. Thanks Klayton, I'd like to shake your hand one day.
As someone whose favorite genres are DnB, Metal, Synthwave, this song hits all those notes
Thank you Celldweller for always bringing us refreshing music from within your mind and the music scene in general. Your art never disappoints me.
Les chansons de Cell. me rappellerons toujours cette personne 🥰🔥🤘🏻
Insane.
By far his music style and sound designs are unique and must be heard! hope to hear more music like this. Stay awesome Celldweller!
Metalcore riffs and breakdown with the power of DNB...this...is...incredible :') Pure energy
Klayton, i really love your music :D especially since its not all about love. no love songs here, just badass instruments and vocals that arent annoying! i love it!
Ikr!, His voice is amazing.
I know im a whole nine years late, but i absolutely agree. It feels like we get too many songs about love and we need more songs like this
This song is too damn amazing... I don't remember when or why I stopped listening to celldweller, but I'm officially putting an end to that unnecessary hiatus.
Holy cow, I rediscovered this song after like 3 years. Making me feel one heck of an emotion
Edit: December of 2020 now. Once again rediscovering it. Nostalgia is hitting like a train, and I’ve got the song on repeat like I used to.
Edit 2: March of 2024. I’m sure there’s a deep meaning behind this song circling back into my feed when it does. Definitely a throwback to different times.
Exactly!! I feel that way now!! I’m currently living in China and man, the emotions I’m feeling now! Pure BLISS!!!
Well, i hope this reply causes you to rediscover it again lol, this song is great
I don't get everyone here, first "too much dubstep" and now "you can do better". Make up your damn minds or be thankful Klaytons making music and enjoy it.
Plus I don't get where they hear dubstep, it's a pure mix between Metal and DnB.
Its drum and bass
coming from the future of this, this is amazing XD and this is also dnb and metal of some sort
Current Year: he's not releasing anything good. Figure that...
No matter how long I've been a cellmate, I will always think of you as the Dead Rising guy.
2024 reporting in!
To all those ppl who moan about the repeating lyrics: if you understood them you would have a right to say that... he feels they need repeating as it seems no one realises he is talking about the real world... almost all of the songs he has done have such an important message to humanity, and like most artists no one gets it... damn it must be frustrating for them :(
Well put.
No one slates Fear Factory for repeating lyrics in "Replica". It's the man's art, if you don't like it, go elsewhere!!!
Ну хоть кто то это еще понимает..
I didn't think i'd love this style of music so much. I'm not much of a metal fan but this kicks ass! it really appeals to the dubstep side of me XD
It's drum and bass. Look up rock dnb
@@smithyukboi Holy shit that makes sense XD Sweet!
I have been searching for artists that scratch that musical itch for a LONG time...& I have finally found it. This genre is incredible!
Time is the line for this song. All things must come to an end it seems. Which I held most dear, all things I loved. It lies in the past!
I feel this song is more relevant today than in any of the years since it's been made.
I stumbled across this song today and came looking for this comment. I’m elated that I found it and that I’m not alone in that sentiment.
I am with you. Every now I found myself singing the "again and again" part of the chorus...
I'm sat listening to Celldweller with a cup of tea. Oh how british of me lol.
Coooool.
Paul Venkman Cheri o chap. You aren't the only one.
Paul Venkman Don't forget to not brush your teeth an some sugary sweets along the tea...lol xD
Paul Venkman meanwhile, I'm at work with my headset listening this, when I not supposed to do.
Thug life.
+Paul Venkman Meanwhile I'm gaming murdering people while listening to this. More appropriate?
3 years goes by like that?
Bro this has been out for 10 YEARS AND I HAD NO CLUE THAT IT EXISTED!!??? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Первое моё знакомство с этой группой началось с этой песни. Звучит очень не дурно. Электроника и метал наше всё
This is all one person, clayton. Best music of all time. He works under celldweller, scandroid, and freqgen. And what's cool is that all of it was him. Also he doesn't have one bad song in my opinion. My top 30 songs are all from him
This song is pure gold.
this song is a timeless classic
masterpiece
this song is TIMELESS ... wow just wow...
Considering a lot of the comments im seeing are from nine years ago, it truly is
this song is more relevant then ever, the 2020s will be the end of many empires, the future will be like nothing we can imagine...
Russia.
Russia, China and the United States are all on their way to collapse.
@@terransystems3291 Europe as well , the EU is in shambles.
XGRA had celldweller songs 13 years ago, but today i still play that game, listening this new song
Need For Speed Most Wanted.
it was a very good game
That games has got songs of cellweder?
Yes, XGRA had 4 songs in 2003 and Most Wanted had 2 in 2005.
I've been addicted to this for the past few days. Amazing job as usual.
This is not just lyrics or Genres or music, this is ART, deal with it
Celldweller fan since 2003 and he did more epic and intelligent music then others in there whole career
Klayton for President, greetings from Germany.
Celldweller, keep going and push more
Not the only true fan from Germany :D Also love Klaytons work for years now :D
absolutely amazing. Clayton outdid himself with this one!
celldwelelr is fire, celldweller is our empire!!
mateuszgojski Rip celldweller xD
This is insane!! Amazing Klayton so many different mixes of genre
I love the chorus the most
Nice to meet you
