CAR T in Pediatrics: What is New Since FDA Approval

On February 10, 2021, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) presented a virtual childhood cancer lecture featuring featuring Stephan A. Grupp, MD/PhD. Dr. Grupp’s lecture discusses developments in our understanding of CAR T cells in children and young adults in the three years since the first FDA approval.
During this lecture, participants will:
1) Learn about the role of CAR-T cell therapy in relapsed, refractory, and/or high risk ALL.
2) Understand the risk factors and treatment for Cytokine Release Syndrome (CRS).
3) Understand the importance of T cell proliferation and persistence in CAR-T cell efficacy.
