If you’re having trouble with this tutorial, maybe this will help. The “front stitch” doesn’t lay in the front really, at least not for me. It’s more toward the top. On the back of your work after flipping it, you can see your last stitch with the “front stitch” settled on top. I was choosing what looked like the front stitch, but it was actually the original chain loop- ending up in my work getting tighter and tighter as I kept going. Maybe this is just the way I was working it or because I’m a beginner- but I had undone & retried this pattern five times before I realized where the front stitch actually sits. Now it’s working up just like in the video and looks good. I love this stitch so much more than some of the other finer crochet scarf videos out there, so I’m happy with it so far! The foundation of this video might just be tough for beginners like me.
yourGREENmarker I know it's like a year later, but maybe this can help others too. I noticed I was having the same problem, and saw that I had pulled to hard while chaining. So one of the loops became so small that it didn't look like a stitch that I had to go through. So make sure you keep everything fairly loose and it will work out 😊
that is a pretty color n I am so doing that thank you for sharing your veido with us.!!!!!

I tried the other scarf and happened the same thing... I think we're missing one knot
