I've been searching UA-cam a bit for a simple, clear instructions. Your video by far easiest for me to follow. Needle-less to say (sorry couldn't help but to make a pun) I've subscribed.
@@craftsbysarahliz8146 Not sure if you do this but at the end of the holiday season, I use and leftover yarn to make blankets and donate to my local animal shelters/rescues.
This video is such a lifesaver, ive been looking for a easy crochet vid for a while that I can do with my bare hands. Working with the needles has always been a struggle for me, im super excited to try this out !! Thank you so much!!
Thank you very much for your clear instructions. My sons and I are going to make this over the autumn/winter, it looks pretty easy enough for them to attempt. Best wishes Sarah Liz
Sorry I didn’t see it (I might have missed it), but what measurement is the yarn and what is the fuzzy yarn called? Like what is the thickness I should look for and should I use the brand you specifically have or will another brand with the same thickness still work the same?
Thank you for this! Will a man like it if I made this, (with like a less bulky yarn)? I want to make one for a christmas gift but I'm not sure if men even like scarfs😅
I think it entirely depends on the style preferences of the man. I have some male friends who never wear scarves, and some who do all the time. I wouldn't go smaller than a size 6 weight yarn (super bulky) if you're doing finger knitting. But if you think they would wear scarves in the winter, go for it!
Hi! So fray check is a liquid that you can buy at most craft stores. When put on raw edges of fabric, or on the ends of this yarn, it helps the ends from fraying.

@@kahleeseestark that is a fantastic idea! My town has a small knitting group, and we have a hat and mittens donation for the local shelters.
@@craftsbysarahliz8146 oh that's awesome! Making the world better, one stitch at a time. ❤
On another video someone said needless to say and I had to fight myself to not jump in...

Thanks for the comment! My son also wants to try, so I might do one with him too. Let me know how it goes!
This is an excellent tutorial Sarah! It helped me make scarfs for my mom and little sister. Thank you!
I bought 2 skeins but I had perfect length with one so I made another one for my mom 🤣 such a great tutorial tho ! ❤
You're a wonderful teacher. Thank you.

It's called Yarn Bee Eternal Bliss. It's a size 7 jumbo thickness. I know Walmart carries a similar yarn, and likely other crafts stores as well.
I was looking for a video so i can make my mom a birthday present

This is really helpful, thanks
This is different, you flip it to knit each row ,must try this one thank you
Hello, what is that "fray check" at the end? How do you do that? Thanks!

@@craftsbysarahliz8146 Thanks!
Hello, could you tell me why you keep flipping it over?
Hello. Flipping it over before making the next row makes what's called the garter stitch. It's much closer to how you knit with needles.
@@craftsbysarahliz8146 Oh, ok. Thank you.
Where can I get this type of yarn
It's called chunky yarn
Please tell me yarn name
It's called Yarn Bee Eternal Bliss. It's sold at Hobby Lobby, but there are similar yarns sold at other craft stores as well as Walmart.
Hi
Does this work with regulier yarn
I wouldn't recommend it. Finger knitting works best with this very thick yarn. Knitting needles are recommended for the thinner yarns.
@@craftsbysarahliz8146 where could i buy
@@zaiiieditz2941 Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Joann, and Michael's all have size 7 Jumbo yarn similar to what I used in the video.
You still can, you can always try, if it doesn't look good you can even pull it all out. Lol
Gm cute scarf
What doing I don't see
SLOW DOWN-😭
Not see never
