This will keep granddaughters busy! It will be an easy way to get them started with crochet, and we can work on projects together. Thanks so much for sharing this!
I am a beginner & your video is a great blessing I have joined the switching sisters in my church & they are so wonderful so I am practicing at home. You are a great teacher & I am enjoying your video thank-you,
I love this scarf. It is very easy to do. I had my 8 year old daughter watch a few times so she could make herself one. She's doing it. Thanks! Keep these projects coming.
what a great idea! I'm going to introduce my granddaughters to this project and hopefully spark some interest in a new generation of fiber artists. Thanks for sharing! (I know, everyone else said it before me, but its so true!)
I never in my whole life seen finger crochet!!!! I'm going shopping Tuesday to get all my yarn (once a year yarn sale Smiley's Yard Discount in Manhattan) and make stuff! I am going to do this!
Yay!! Let me know how the scarf turns out!! I'm so trying not to buy any yarn this season. I'm going to make a scarp scarf next. Operation use up my stash! lol Thanks so much!
First of all, you are just so lovely! This pattern was so simple and you made so easy to follow. I'm going to start working one up right now! Thank you so much for this scarf tutorial!
I've never tried finger crochet before but definitely going to give it a go in the very near future after watching this tutorial. Thanks for sharing your expertise with us here in Northern Ireland. God bless xo
Thank you . After seeing your video, I think I will start crocheting again. I was one who used to crochet dresses, suits, a gown, purses, blankets, you name it.
What an easy, and neat idea. I have not tried yet but this is my next project. I have never worked with bulky yarn so I will be going to get me some. Thanks for the great idea!
I saw your video and tried to make one. .. Did it on the first try! ! Your instructions were amazing. I only used one roll of yarn for mine though but it was thick yarn. Thank you soo much can't wait to make more! !
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I watched a few videos about finger crochet and they all were absolutely confusing. Your tutorial shows, how easy finger crochet in fact is. And btw, your scarf looks great. Thanks again! :)
I have never been able to crochet before (I am a knitter) but I made this after watching your video and I made my very first crochet scarf with only some minor mess-ups. It got twisted at the very beginning but now it just has character. =) Thanks!
This is really cool. I just wanted to do something over winter break and saw this! I definitely started making mine, and although it is a little lopsided, it is pretty cool! I really liked how easy it is (this is the first thing I have ever made) and you do not have to invest in any needles. It lets you get a feel for it! Thanks so much!
This is AWESOME Lily!! What a great thing to teach to kids! I love it. I wonder if I can do this with a regular project when I get to work and realize I forgot my crochet hooks for my lunch time crocheting!!
I love this! I have a yarn I bought that is really thin and because my eyes are so bad I am struggling using the 5.5 hook, I tried using a bigger hook but it wasn't working. I am starting on this one tomorrow ! Thank you so much for posting this.
That looks absolutely amazing! I've been wanting to get into crocheting and watching this makes it look super easy and super fun! Thank you for the tutorial(:
I'm a big craft fan. I (naturally) crochet with needles. But this is really cool!! Someone I know told me about arm and finger crocheting and knitting. I decided to look into this and I just might be making some items. Thanks!!!
Thank you for posting this! I always crochet with a hook and saw a post on pinterest.com for knitting a bracelet using fingers, so I of course had to go onto youtube to see what else I could find.
Super cute making my own with thinner yarn I had lying around. If I like how it comes out definitely will be buying more yarn to make a couple more. Thanks
Somehow I lost this channel for a while even though I subscribe to your other one! Anyhow, great technique. I'm crocheting again and will definitely make one of these. I have a large hook so I'll use that instead of my fingers. :)
This is wonderful. I'm going to have to go pick me up some yarn. I've always loved crocheting, but my CTS keeps me from manipulating the hooks. I should be able to do this is short sessions with no issues!! It'll help my addiction to infinity scarves, lol.
Thank you so very much! I can't wait to try this! One question if you have to put it down for a minute how do you do that without losing your spot or messing it up. With kids I know I will be interrupted! Thanks!
an excellent tutorial go-by to learn & work your project ... unfortunately, I don't think users can post pictures here in the comments ... great job !!! thumbs up !!
Hi! I really enjoyed your tut. Do you have one for a matching beanie/hat? I would like to try this. How much yarn would i need to buy? Thanks for your help!
I was wondering the same thing.... I paused the video at around the 5:13 mark and tried to count the rows.... it looks like 7 rows, maybe 8... I love this... I'm going to make a few! I have so much yarn!
Mine went really wrong, but then I realised that I kept using the same whole as I went around, oops. Thanks for making this video, can't wait till I undo the old project and create an infinity scarf. :)
Thank you for posting this. I finished my scarf yesterday in about 3 hours. Used less bulky yarn (for 7mm needles, US 10.5) from Rowan in a teal/blue combination. It came out beautiful, but I don't think I can post photos here. For information, I used 70 stitches, don't remember the number of rows, but until the yarn was finished (length of yarn is 115m (126yrd)).
She used the slip stitch to connect the start and the end of the row. For the slip stitch, she had the loop she had just finished on her right finger. The then picked up the start stitch from the left side onto her right finger, then she pulled the working yarn thru both of these loops and kept the pulled thru loop only on her finger. This connected the start of the row with the end of the row. It's hard to explain
I remember when I was about 7 or 8 years old, my sisters and I used to finger crochet coin purses with drawstrings. The strangest thing is I do not remember learning how to do it.....it was like we just did it out of nowhere. This looks like fun.
When I taught myself how to crochet before Internet was out (age 12) I used fingers and pencils. This is cute, easy but with hooks in all sizes don't know if it is quicker (at least for me). But good idea
Only an hour?! I will definitely be trying this project. Thank You.
This will keep granddaughters busy! It will be an easy way to get them started with crochet, and we can work on projects together. Thanks so much for sharing this!
I have been crocheting for forty years and this is just awesome! Your instructions and demonstrations are perfect. Thank you very much!
I have watched 4 other finger crochet videos and they left me confused. I watch your tutorial and get it right away! glad I clicked this video :)
Same!!

Love this and easy enough to keep to girls busy on a cold winters day.
I have never been able to crochet before (I am a knitter) but I made this after watching your video and I made my very first crochet scarf with only some minor mess-ups. It got twisted at the very beginning but now it just has character. =) Thanks!

For thinner yarn how many stitches did you use?
Awesome for someone that has always done hook crocheting.
Oh wow! I don't if I got the patience, but it's so cute.
That is so cool! Thanks for the video!
Definitely going to try this tomorrow 😊

Somehow I lost this channel for a while even though I subscribe to your other one! Anyhow, great technique. I'm crocheting again and will definitely make one of these. I have a large hook so I'll use that instead of my fingers. :)

Thanks so much! I love infinity scarves too! I hope you're able to do the stitches.
Thank you so very much! I can't wait to try this! One question if you have to put it down for a minute how do you do that without losing your spot or messing it up. With kids I know I will be interrupted! Thanks!
Use clothes pins. You can buy them at Dollartree.
an excellent tutorial go-by to learn & work your project ... unfortunately, I don't think users can post pictures here in the comments ... great job !!! thumbs up !!
Thanks! Going to try this today.
This is awesome!
Hi! I really enjoyed your tut. Do you have one for a matching beanie/hat? I would like to try this. How much yarn would i need to buy? Thanks for your help!
This is a very cool idea Ms Rosie, but if you do want to use a hook, what size would u suggest?
I think you can get a similar result with a Q hook.
sands70 Thanks so much!!
I agree with +sands70 a Q or even larger hook will make similar stitches. I'm going to invest in some larger hooks. Thanks so much!!
very cool
Thank you!!
I was wondering how many rows did you do for your scarf..
😊
I was wondering the same thing.... I paused the video at around the 5:13 mark and tried to count the rows.... it looks like 7 rows, maybe 8... I love this... I'm going to make a few! I have so much yarn!

thank you and you had a boogie up your nose
pretty awesome!
If I wanted to make child size scarf how many links should I start with
hmmm that's pretty cool!
How many rounds did you complete? I know out various.
I completed 9 rounds. Thanks for asking!
Amazing!!!
How long in inches do you think 50 chains would be? Thanks! I definitely want to try this!
With the 50 chains that you started with did that allow you to wrap the scarf twice if just once around your neck?
So is this more the length of a cowl! Can you wrap it once? Hard to tell thx
Love it!!
I love this. I've made two, but somehow mine becomes twisted. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Very fun!
Thank you!!
can you explain the slip stitch? i got confused because you are just so good!
This is cool I love stuff like this I might make a vid............
would this work the same if I use medium #4? that's what I have on hand
Awesome Im going to trt it
awesome!
Thank you.
Love!
Muito lindo.
