Astounded by the virtuosity, overwhelmed by the registrations, and charrmed by the delicate bells. Brilliant! Bravo! Thanks for sharing. 💐💐💐💐💐🔔🎹🎶
Liszt is a composer whose songs are very difficult and require a lot of vigor. Congratulations, Jonathan! Tom, the images are beautiful. 😊🥰😍😘👋🙌🙌
A magnificent performance on a magnificent instrument. Thank you, Jonathan and Tom!
The melody and bells between 05:30 and 06:00 immediately reminded me of the beautiful conclusion of Mussorgsky's "Night on Bald Mountain".
Bravo Jonathan. Franz Liszt like I've never heard. What an amazing journey.
This outstanding organist and his perfect playing style never ceases to fascinate and leaves me wanting more. He always surprises me with his virtuoso works, perfectly matched to the composer and instrument. Simply furious would be an understatement. A merciless pleasure for me.
Superb😂
Absolutely gorgeous my Dear Brothers, my dear Jonathan!
Thanks so much Jonathan and Tom for taking us to those wonderful places of sound and joy. All best.
💞💕
I've not heard this piece on pipe organ before. All I can say is, outstanding! Bravo!
This man is the best in the world ❤
This is absolut true!
It appears that Jonathan needs "Go Go Gadget Arms" to reach all the stops on the organ. That thing is HUGE! Another wonderful video!!
Another one I thought I wouldn’t like…until Jonathan performed his magic and proved me wrong. I should know better. Thank you Jonathan. Bravo 👏🏼
my first thought was How can an organ outperform a piano for this piece. But it worked. Terrific!
What an amazing organ, Jonathan! Brilliantly played & wonderful to be able to incorporate so many of the instruments features including the bells in this transcription. Bravo to you both! 😂👏🎹🎹🎹🎹
You two not only make music, you make MAGIC!🎉🎶🎊👏👏👏👏👏
I dare say Jonathan, you play Hungarian Rhapsody better than Tom the cat and Bugs Bunny combined! No, but seriously, fantastic performance!
Didn't have to fight against a mouse though 👀.
Amazing to how many “thumbs up” on this comment!!! That means there’s still enough people who remember great cartoons with wonderful music to learn appreciation for!!!! Go, Bugsy and Tom!!!!!
As for this Scott performance, just closed my eyes and imagine all this going as lightning… and still having to peek (no discipline 🙄) at his hands and feet!! The color of the registration was here OUTDONE!!!
@@alanclarkeau If you look closely at the video, you can see a mouse being blown out of the pipes. Good thing Jonathan is on a remote console or who knows what the mouse would've done to get him to stop playing. 😆
Woody woodpecker also played this piece. Hilarious cartoon!
Bugs, Tom and Woody, all great cartoons!😊
This comment made me laugh out loud! But yes, indeed, a stunning performance.
Very dramatic. You did an excellent job of highlighting the most tense parts of the piece, making them sound even more dramatic. Thank you.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💕
Great registrations! It was fun watching the counter start at 160, go down to 152 and then up to 180; this shows a lot of preparation. The percussive stops also added a lot.
This is the best rendition of the Rhapsody that I've heard. Well done!
This must be one of your best performances, the arrangement and the organ itself are stunning.
Johnathan, you have become my most favorite organist in the world and this performance just proves why! I am a retired liturgical church organist in Texas USA. Found you and Tom on UA-cam. Keep up the great work. More piano/organ duets would be wonderful.
I think Jonathan is the greatest organ player on this planet. 🙄
To see the Scott Brothers live is a really amazing Event.
I❤ wonferful music 🌹Absolutely amazing job♥️🌹♥️🎼🎹🎶Thanks 😊✌️👍
I feel it Jonathan. And I can see it Tom. Thank you, both of you. XX
No! No! No!
That's not humanly possible!
It has to be a 'smoke and mirrors' magic trick.
Jonathan, you are beyond amazing.
Thank you for sharing your outragious talent with us mere mortals. 😅
Bravissimo, this is absolut the high end playing on the Organ. Incredible Performance and registration. Thank you so much Jonathan and Tom for sharing.
Wow, hold onto your hat for this one!! That was fun! xx
What a wonderful performance Jonathan. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful organ and it looks huge! This Rhapsody is incredible, breathtaking and Jonathan performs it as if it were easy! The video is excellent, it has a lot of details. Thank you both for this beautiful video! ❤❤
First! - Again a great performance! Thank you so much Jonathan and Tom!
What an amazing organ, and Johnathan really knows how to "turn it's crank!" Thank you for the performance!
Bravissimo Jonathan and Tom. A wonderfully dramatic performance! You're such professionals as this all happened at silly o'clock at night.
An Incredible performance and transcription. Bravo Jonathan !
A great organist for a great organ
The arrangements are very careful and in general it sounds like a magnificent transcription.
Congratulations
Thanks, you have once again pleasantly surprised us ❤👏👏
Astonishing. Musical, artistic and technical wizardry. Bravo!
Masterful!
Also, what a gorgeous concert hall. I admire these Polish people. They are so incredibly cultured and sophisticated!
They are not a cave people yk :D
@@kottelettchen389 Those are your words, not mine. I am from Hungary. Our relationships with the Polish people throughout history has been exemplary.
Excellent performance Jonathan. Enjoyed watching your fingers & foot work. Thks to Tom for the wonderful visual & sound. Beautiful concert hall.
Your talent pours forth in this video, Jonathan! What a brilliant performance of this tough piece. You make it look "almost" effortless. And Tom, the videography is stunning. What a beautiful instrument, as well. Love all you guys do. Bravo!
At about 8:00 i kept looking out for the appearance of a mouse. Bugs Bunny did well - but this was extraordinary. Thanks!!
Congratulate Jonathan! ❤ Very interesting and unique interpretation! As hungarian I am proud! ;)
Absolutely wonderful Jonathan!🤗👍👏👏👏
Brilliant playing, wonderful video production and a wonderful organ. What could be better? Mike in Oz
Splendid organ - spectacular performance
Just GLORIOUS! Again, thank you for including the specification, it's so important!
Brilliant.
Hallo!!!
Oh my fantastic!!
Jonathan you need long arms to play on this organ!!
Thank you very much B B❤❤
With Love from the Netherlands.
What an amazing performance bravo!
Outstanding, thank you 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏💕🇬🇧
Your mastery of the organ never ceases to amaze me! Wonderful performance!!
Wow - and triple wow! 🎉
Huge range of registrations - which makes sense, and makes one realise how rare it is to hear such variation.
Amazingly emotionally brilliant! I've listened/watched over and over...and I want to add at least ten likes ❤
Quite amazing.
I loved your first rendition but this is masterclass superb love it
Such a creative way of using the percussion stops!❤
Jonathan, that was amazing to watch you and listen. Thank you❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉😊
Great music and fantastic organist ! ❤
BRAVO SPECTACULAR
Absolutely stunning.
Thank you both.
A great performance on an incredible instrument with superb registration. Doing this on a five manual organ with pedals is a wonderful thing. The couplers must be something else to get that full expansive sound. Thanks Jonathan and Tom. James.
A really spectacular arrangement. Tom could do a great animation to this. (Why should Tom and Jerry and Bugs Bunny have all the fun)? From Chicago, U.S.A.
I think you are having too much fun with this!😄
What a surprise :) I had the pure pleasure hearing this masterpiece live in the NOSPR concert hall. Thank you for that experience!
Amazing 🙏
Bravo !
Wow awesome I love it
Bravoooooooo
Terrific!
Wow, so great!
BRAVO!!!
Awesome!!
What a triumphant and absolutely wonderful pipe organ it is special. 🎼💛
Marvelous!!!
superb performance
Спасибо !❤!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
WOW!!!
Thank you for helping get us through the many lonely nights of the Covid. OMG what a knarly performance on this very knarly organ. Growl baby Growl. ! Liszt would be ecstatic, as am I. Is there a more fun piece of music to play? And once again thanks for the shivers down my back and the tears welling up in my eyes.
Enjoyed your performance of Hungarian rhapsody No. 2. It is one of my favourite pieces of classical music.
Also i know it is not what you normally do but i would like to hear you play At All Costs from Disney's Wish on the organ. I think it might sound good.
When it gets to the bit starting 7:04, I always think "my name in Dneblpetrovsk is cursed" (Tom Lehrer, "Lobachevsky")!
So beautiful, thank you Jonathan ! I am looking for an organ transcription of the overture of Handel’s Messiah, will you play it ?
Bravo !
I would absolutely love to hear “J.S. Bach: Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in D, BWV 1050 - 3. Allegro (II)” and “Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F Major, BWV 1047: III. Allegro assai” done on organ. I haven’t heard anyone do these pieces yet on organ and I know they’d sound incredible. Please make videos on these I’d absolutely love to hear them.
Where's Tom? I love the duet!
I think Grand-orgue I means Great, Positif II means Choir, Recit expressif III means Swell, Bombarde solo IV means Solo and Schwellwerk V means Bombard.
So, who was the better Hungarian, Liszt or Brahms?
Please do the Percy Fletcher festival toccata!
Very impressive, but I don't get why it needed to be transposed in d minor? Is there a limitation of the organ somewhere?
How common is it to have five manuals all horizontal - I am thinking that most top manuals are sloped forward to make them easier to reach?
Fasten seat belts...🙂

Beautiful but (sorry) but every time I hear this piece of music it reminds me of Tom & Jerry's Cat Concerto. It won an Oscar in 1958 (I think). It is so funny.
It has little to do with the performance.
This is correct, but Jonathan can‘t change the lenght of the little finger to press the keys in the upper area from the keys 😜
Finally🥹
Bugs bunny has some competition . .
Impressive. But confused as to where this organ is!
Katowice in Poland
Beautifully played but this music is a bit muddy on an organ.
My respects to the organist but I did not like this rendition as much
I must admit, that Liszt is always for me a smidge below overshadowing musicality with technique. This version, as much more technically complicated than the original crossed this barrier. I appreciate and admire the technique, surely, but I stopped feeling the music, unfortunately...
I know you worked hard on this and that you are very talented, but I'm going to take a pass on this one.
