Brilliant as always
Andrew I nearly choked on my food when you jumped out of that bathtub im glad Kev gave you a lesson...Great project once again very playful yet thoughtful design ..love it
Lucky the camera was an action camera and it landed on carpet!!
Haha next time we are going have cautionary warnings at the start of the video.
@@Archimarathon that would be GR8
...am keeping tab on how many times Andrew have said " PERCH" , "splash back" (we say BACKSPLASH here in US :) ..) rumpus room"...will let you know the tally when we meet in July (over beer or 2)...Great design sense as always..
It's awesome being able to see some of Andrew's projects in more detail. Fantastic as usual!
Thank you.
"The roof line is predicting a recession" in February. Predictive roof line was correct!
Lol!
So great getting to see an architect walk and talk through a design. Absolutely loved it. So many insights. Thank you!
Guys we need more house tours! It's really interesting seeing your work. Big fan of the channel!
Thanks. Yes we have/had some planned but Covid19 second wave lockdown got us all screwed up again.
So glad to hear that you have some more planned though :) The problem is not so evident where I live, so I didn't even think of that at first..
Love this kind of video direction, crazy fun Andrew and a calm Kevin.
We are thinking of releasing a behind-the-scenes blooper reel. It’s even crazier
You are brilliant Maynard
bugger off...I have subscribed for the 5th time!
Hahahahahaha. Not everyone binge watch all our episodes at once (though that would be nice). Thanks for the sub.
What a character! Love it. Perfect breakdown of the project and forms as well.
Thanks for your feedback. Yes it's kooky working with Andrew.
I'm very late to this video in specific, but I'm in my last year of undergrad and my senior thesis is a re-imagining of the case study homes, post covid. Seeing how you two have captured the idea of a home and have designed for the art of dwelling is very interesting! Thank for the walk through. I would really appreciate a conversation with you both, if you have the time. Cheers!
I take zero credit as I am not part of Austin Maynard Architects. I take credit for the video and walk though discussions though.
Astonishing. Every detail is mind blowing 🤯 👌
Great hand stand. Caffeine has the same effect on me - usually after my 3rd cup 🤣
Great project! Loved the way the overall concept is shown as well as the attention to "small" details, keep them coming!
Thanks Marcelo. Yes I have tried to ask “why” does it look the way it does and making sure there is enough overall explanation.
Finally some fun architectural videos!
Thanks Ruan.
Love. Love your channel. Love climb in house, Andrew in bath, caffeine. Totally love the architectural content and the analysis. Thank you 😊
Awesome, thank you!
beautiful project. wonderful architecture. just wonderful thankyou
Thanks for watching
Good job Austin!!!!
You mean Andrew
I love your projects! I have noticed that you have a signature concrete floor that you use! Could you please share some information on that? Any tips on recreating that look? Do you have any issues with cracks?
Great work again guys. You really put the fun in fun house. Or is it the house in fun house? Either way, really enjoying the videos
Thank you. Glad you are enjoying them.
4:03 who me? No bro, I subbed the first day I found the channel on ArchDaily..
Great video!
Cheers
These videos are really great
Thank you Lyle.
i was wondering , do you guys have a published book wish i would love to have them
Hig if hard 🤧 the best line
I hope you have hit that subscribe button hard.
When he mentioned this the north plenty of light, I was like !?!? Oh is south hemisphere....
Yes. Subsequently I have added a reminder text when we say that for northern hemispherians to not get confused with our upside down ways 😀
Archimarathon I felt like I was a racist or some sort. I am too spoiled. Love your works from Archdaily and just find out you guys have a channel!!
Haha. Geographical difference is not about race and yes that’s a problem I have thought about for our global audience. Also it’s Kevin here and it’s the Archimarathon channel. I think you were referring to Andrew’s work? AMA does also have its own channel but Andrew and I have been making videos together for 4 months now will be doing an episode once a week.
Archimarathon sorry Andrew this channel is much better than AMA’s own channel. I just realized I did visit that channel before.
Yes. We rock!!
That living room , the brown sofa etc, kills me.
Does the colour of the perforated steel have an effect on the space? You've used white before and I'm curious about the oblique effect...
It’s white, which technically isn’t a colour so it’s neutral and helps with bouncing light around
hmmm, one might say the initial stage of conceptual development adds overriding three dimensional constraints to the anticipated degree of human ambiance...
you must tell maynard this, he will understand im sure :)
Budgybottom - Lol. You do the best Archi-speak. Gimme more!!!!!!!!
