Hi Curtis! I've been a subscriber to your channel for years, but have never left a comment. This video has to be my favorite so far... Thank you! I would love to take the same adventure as you filmed in this video, but I'm afraid to visit the Middle East right now with all of the turmoil happening right now. Living vicariously through your video.
Hello Curtis, I've been following your videos for a long time now. They are truly inspiring and show how much you love our motherland of Egypt. Your passion also makes me jealous and drives me to learn more about the story of my country. So, I've also been studying the history of Egypt and all the eras we went through to current day. Now, I may be a nuclear engineer working in the US, but I was born a farmer in the country fields of Damanhur (the settlement of Hor), son of a farmer's family, son of the first farmers on the planet. I also consider you Egyptian. As you know better than anyone, whoever drinks from the Nile, comes back to the MOTHER OF ALL.
Wow what a document very educational and entertaining. i couldn't take my eye off the screen. Thank you again for such a wonderful document. looking forward to the next one.
Dear Curtis thank you for this very magical beautiful documentaire, is very very beautiful, some day i wish to see it meself with you as quide. Because you are so kind humor en nice man. With you everything get even more beautiful 😊❤❤
Omg Curtis your documentaries are always amazing and informative. This one was phenomenal thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge on Egypt Curtis ❤❤
As a 9 year old girl, I was so privileged to see the exhibit of Ramses II in Dallas, TX. I have wanted to visit the temple of Ramses and Nefretari ever since When you and Stephanie finally saw the wall with his lion charging into battle beside the chariot, I was covered in goosebumps! Another amazing film, Curtis! I will get there one day! Thank you from my heart 💙
@@CurtisRyanWoodside You of all people should be aware of the fact that the people at Kemet engaged in a high level of intimidation and political propaganda--- The cultural and trade relationships served BOTH societies very well indeed . . . You’re either willfully ignorant OR just the latest manifestation of “Egyptologist” who claim that the ancient people of Kemet were NOT Black Africans. I’ve watched several videos of yours and I’ve yet to hear you say anything about this matter. In fact recently I heard you say that “WE” are not sure where the ancients come from. Those of us who’re intellectually honest know where they came from---- What’s present day Sudan, Ethiopia and other surrounding places are where the Remtju ni Kemet originated from--- Hatshepsut said the following “my devine mother Hathor is from Punt.” They called Punt “the land of the gods.” Your videos are incredibly well produced with amazing cinematography and your narration style is impeccable. However, it’d be a great service if you would delve deeper into the topic of the ancients being Black Africans. You’re literally surrounded by tbe facts. They’ve left you and countless others BLATANT clues as to what they looked like. I love seeing the fascinating places you visit but please stop with the willful ignorance.
As usual Curtis, you never fail to sweep me away with you on your journeys. Your knowledge is impressive and inspirational. My friends have just returned from a Nile cruise and your video brought their trip to reality for me. Thank you, Curtis ❤
Thank you Curtis - brilliant. I have written a poem about one of the Gods / Neters of Ancient Egypt - do you know who i could send it to to see if anyone would like to publish it please ? Having visited the country in 1993 one simply cannot erase the Majesty / Beauty uplifting impact it had on me - nor would one want to - putting aside some fly bites and King Tut's Tummy.... Strength - Life - Health to you and yours.
This is wonderful Curtis! The music was just excellent, and you get better at this all the time, but the number of ads is really too much! It isn't unwatchable, but only because you do such a great job, but if it were by other videographer and on any other topic, I would call it unwatchable because of so many ads. So please tone it down a bit. It's annoying as hell to not even be able to relax and watch for a little while before being blasted by yet another ad. It really is an unbelievable number of them! What an awful shame towreck such a great show with so many of them! But at least most (or maybe all) of them were skippable. I don't mind some ads, but this is ridiculous. I really would give anything to have been on this trip with you. That's the only reason I'm tolerating this insane ad fest.
Actually, a long strip of the Nile Valley in mid-Egypt between Cairo and Luxor is pretty much off limits to tourists due to civil strife. You need a permit to visit sites here and an armed guard escort.
Great documentary , very informative ! I love it , but one little criticism, when you have a clip on neck microphone. Please don't wear a necklace . It so damn infuriating to hear it clinking about ! The same issue In the Sailing Lake Nasser video .

The separation of Nubia from Egypt/Kemet is a fiction of 19th century Egyptologists.
Hmmm I don’t know. The Egyptians always showed themselves as superior to Nubians….

And People from Texas think they are superior to Californians.

It much feel so strange going into a 5000 year old burial chamber!
Very eerie feeling
Was really fun and refreshing to watch. 😍
I would definitely prefer a boat tour on Lake Nassar than going to the Giza Plateau. You present Egypt so beautifully. 🙂🇨🇦

Am I the only one mind blown by an ancient Egyptian named Allison?
It is actually Northern Egyptian considering in Egyptian perception it was the Upper Egypt and the Lower Egypt was at the delta.
Actually, a long strip of the Nile Valley in mid-Egypt between Cairo and Luxor is pretty much off limits to tourists due to civil strife. You need a permit to visit sites here and an armed guard escort.

They weren't enemies at all. That's a lie.
The smiting of them by Egyptians would prove otherwise
If the culture started in Nubia (tA-seti) then how are the Nubians(Nehesu) not the Ancient Egyptians?

@billiondollarambition Nubians only ruled Egypt for less than 100 years in the 25th dynasty. Watch my documentary on Amenirdis to learn more on that.
