I had an "OBE" once on an operating-table yrs-ago, "saw the other-side," etc. & I'm Sure the two of them are "together-again"... / Also, in H.S. my coach gave me Sayers #40 'cause I was Greg Sayles (pronounced "Sales")...I guess he thought that was close enough! (the coach, btw, once coached Miami QB Dan Marino a few years prior in Jr.High)

This song is “Turn Back the Hands of Time.” Brings on tears literally EVERY time I’ve heard it over the past 50 years, since I first saw the film as a child. Haven’t seen it in YEARS. Would love for my kids (17 and 19) to see it someday. My son played football. Although the movie is more about Piccolo’s and Sayers’ (autocorrect won’t let me spell it right!!!) friendship as he lived and fought through cancer, it still has enough “football” in it to attract a former football player, I think. What a movie. Can’t hear this song without crying..😭😭😭

I'm bawling in tears I got to see both of them in 1968 in Baltimore against the Colt's. I had no idea I would love these two guy's the way I do Gale Sayers and Brian Piccolo. I named my oldest son Brian after Brian Piccolo he's 37 now my father name is Eugene like Gale Eugene Sayer's. My friend Carl Reeves played for Bear's in the 90's so I have a lot in common with these 2 guy's and to see them when I was 7 in 1968. WOW my they both RIP together again.

This movie and the theme song are among my most memorable performances and, yes, it brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it. It makes you feel good about humanity, amd man's love for one another.

My Mother would always break down when this song was played.
My Dad died of cancer back in 1969. My Mom saw this movie once and it just made her grieving a much more difficult process.
My Mother died back in 2002. And, I come here to be reminded of my Mother and her life.

      The film is 73 minutes long x 1,000,000 = 73,000,000. / 60 = 1,216,666.67 hours. That number / 24 = 50,694.444 / 365.25 = 138.793 years.....Oh I'm just having a little fun......

I think the song is called “Turn Back the Hands of Time”. I watched this movie as a young child in the 70’s and it left such a lasting impression. I still can’t listen to this song, even almost 50 yrs later) without choking up and crying...😭😭😭

There is something about certain songs and pianos that pull the tears right out, especially when it's a theme to a tragic story.
