My wife lost her job. We are having struggles right now but God brought me here. This is the sound of hope and peace. He is showing His mercy all the time telling us that he has everything under control. Telling us that we are protected under His wings.

I am sorry that you lost your husband. But you can be sure there is someone who really cares about you. You can find the answer in the bible when Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30 " Come to me, all you who are toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh you. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am mild tempered and lowly in heart, and you will find refreshment for yourselves. For my yoke is kindly, and my load is light." The bible predicts a time in which there will be no more death or disease. John 5:28,29 says you shouldn't be surprised, because the time will come when all, who are in the graves will hear gods voice and will come out. The bible gives information about what god plans to do on the earth, namely a paradise and how this will affect people, so that persons like you and me will get the possibility to see our loved ones again. And you know, in the bible there is so much evidence about where resurrections took place. For example when Jesus raised Lazarus ( John 11:43,44) or think of jesus when he got resurrected from god after 3 days. (Matthew 28: 1-20 ) and this will happen also in the very near future. Revelation 21:4 ....and god will wipe out every tear from your eyes, and there will be no more death, what used to be is over. Sometimes it's good to stop and reflect on the life you've had, the mistakes you've made and one's you've loved and lost. Used to watch this movie with my Dad, he passede away 7 years ago when I was 22. He always cried when he listened to beautiful music, and after he died, I've inherited the trait. The last bit of this truly beautiful piece makes me cry like crazy 😭 ❤

When I looked at her photo I also smile and feel as if she were still here with me. Everything is because of this beatiful music.

Absolutely. Until I became a fan of mr Barry’s work, i had no way to tap into my deepest emotions. I lost my mother when i was 4 and i pretty much blacked out my memories to spare myself the pain. Little did i know this man’s music touched my heart in such a way as to help me deal with the flood of emotions i go through. His music creates a story that plays over and over in my mind. Thank you Mr. Barry though i know you are gone but will never ever be forgotten.

John truly had the perspective of an artist. He dreamed for peace in his later years. He moved to New York, Centre Island and remained there until his death on 30 January 2011 at his Oyster Bay home, aged 77. John never liked talking about his music & repiudiated the fame that came along with it. He attributed his success not to talent but being born into "good times". His musical style is genre defiant as using synthesizers with Classical was deemed controversial back then. But his characteristic Poly-rhythmic metres, Strings shrills, flurries & sweeping soaring crescendos placated with low Brass 5ths & delicate harp placements made his music stand out. His Bond Scores are some of the most disciplined pieces for Brass players & there are even moments where Barry himself couldn't prepare his players well enough to the operatic structure of some of his earlier works which required lots of short bursts of notes. One being in "Drop in the Ocean" from YOLT. His legacy is still felt today by people who were touched by his art beyond Bond titles which he later distanced himself from - wanting more gentil sombre projects to work on. John Barry will always be remembered as our generations greatest film composer. This is giving John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Leonard Bernstein and others great recognition for their work.
All fantastic composers, but there just seems to be something about John Barry's work that sets it apart from even the greatest of his contemporaries. Perhaps it is his background - he grew up around film music in a family that owned cinemas, studied church music at York Minster as a schoolboy, fell in love with big band music as a young man, and was clearly blessed with the vision and talent to draw all these elements, and many more, together to become much more than the sum of their parts. Whichever way you look at it, he was a rare genius.
We live in our own minds and music like this makes us feel so good, we don't have the answers to life but this helps us along the way, gifted people who create the music, thank you ❤️

All of the tears I share with this piece still do not it justice. I was in Frankfurt Germany because an Army recruiter lied to me and told me I’d leave my country of panama behind the love of my life because her dad was getting stationed in Alabama. He told me he could get me close. Next thing I know I’m on a flight to the other side of the world and crying listening to this. My life and my love has never been the same. 26 years later. Thank you John for giving me this peace of what we had so long ago. 😢
I put this piece of music on when I need to think and relax. I find that it stimulates my thoughts and experiences and emotions which in itself gives me a clear understanding of the world and the people in my life past and present. John Barry in my mind was and will always be a pure genius. Music is the one thing that stirs a person's feelings and emotions something inside that they cannot hide from, and John captures those feelings so beautifully in his music.

É verdade, são clássicos, que tocam alma, Simplesmente amo ouvir cada nota. O filme também é espetacular, quando é se arrepende de ter concordado, é vai atrás dela, nossa o desespero dele foi incrível de vê , essa atuação de Woody Harrelson foi maravilhosa.

I saw John Barry in London in the late 'fifties, when he had The John Barry Seven. He opened the show for pianist Winnifred Attwell. Who knew he would become one of the worlds' renowned composers? What glorious music. Like most beautiful things, it brings tears to my eyes.
It's impossible not to cry while listening to this kind of music. pleasurable emotions.

I have just discovered this poet of the music. It makes me cry many times 'cos my mum died a few months ago and many memoties come to my mind, but he makes them be sweet and calm. When I looked at her photo I also smile and feel as if she were still here with me. Everything is because of this beatiful music.
Fortunately, there are people like John Barry, Morricone etc ... who sweeten the soul with their music, because man is using a virus for unclear purposes and to keep some from dying, others do not let others live, John Barry's suite makes you dream, caresses the interior, relaxes the spirit, marvelous.

Elle amène le rêve et ravive nos souvenirs charmants . La douceur existe aussi et nous la touchons avec cette musique du bout de nos doigts juste un instant et les couleurs éclatent sous nos yeux même fermés. Je revois les superbes couchers de soleil et la nature flamboyante de belles contrées que j'ai eu la chance de visiter. C'est magnifique !.
A friend once said "I'm not going to let anyone spoil my day today", even in such moments ....John Barry can take us away from a difficult person unknown to us or a difficult situation.
This just happened.. my heart is quietened and once again I carry on in my wonderful day.

Absolutely. Until I became a fan of mr Barry’s work, i had no way to tap into my deepest emotions. I lost my mother when i was 4 and i pretty much blacked out my memories to spare myself the pain. Little did i know this man’s music touched my heart in such a way as to help me deal with the flood of emotions i go through. His music creates a story that plays over and over in my mind. Thank you Mr. Barry though i know you are gone but will never ever be forgotten.

John truly had the perspective of an artist. He dreamed for peace in his later years. He moved to New York, Centre Island and remained there until his death on 30 January 2011 at his Oyster Bay home, aged 77.
John never liked talking about his music & repiudiated the fame that came along with it. He attributed his success not to talent but being born into "good times".
His musical style is genre defiant as using synthesizers with Classical was deemed controversial back then. But his characteristic Poly-rhythmic metres, Strings shrills, flurries & sweeping soaring crescendos placated with low Brass 5ths & delicate harp placements made his music stand out.
His Bond Scores are some of the most disciplined pieces for Brass players & there are even moments where Barry himself couldn't prepare his players well enough to the operatic structure of some of his earlier works which required lots of short bursts of notes. One being in "Drop in the Ocean" from YOLT.
His legacy is still felt today by people who were touched by his art beyond Bond titles which he later distanced himself from - wanting more gentil sombre projects to work on. He will always be the sound of Bond, but as demonstrated here, he had a knack for dreamy pieces with no hard ends.

John Barry will always be remembered as our generations greatest film composer. This is giving John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Leonard Bernstein and others great recognition for their work.
All fantastic composers, but there just seems to be something about John Barry's work that sets it apart from even the greatest of his contemporaries. Perhaps it is his background - he grew up around film music in a family that owned cinemas, studied church music at York Minster as a schoolboy, fell in love with big band music as a young man, and was clearly blessed with the vision and talent to draw all these elements, and many more, together to become much more than the sum of their parts. Whichever way you look at it, he was a rare genius.

All of the tears I share with this piece still do not it justice. I was in Frankfurt Germany because an Army recruiter lied to me and told me I’d leave my country of panama behind the love of my life because her dad was getting stationed in Alabama. He told me he could get me close. Next thing I know I’m on a flight to the other side of the world and crying listening to this. My life and my love has never been the same. 26 years later.

I put this piece of music on when I need to think and relax. I find that it stimulates my thoughts and experiences and emotions which in itself gives me a clear understanding of the world and the people in my life past and present. John Barry in my mind was and will always be a pure genius. Music is the one thing that stirs a person's feelings and emotions something inside that they cannot hide from, and John captures those feelings so beautifully in his music.
