I am sorry that you lost your husband. But you can be sure there is someone who really cares about you. You can find the answer in the bible when Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30 " Come to me, all you who are toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh you. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am mild tempered and lowly in heart, and you will find refreshment for yourselves. For my yoke is kindly, and my load is light." The bible predicts a time in which there will be no more death or disease. John 5:28,29 says you shouldn't be surprised, because the time will come when all, who are in the graves will hear gods voice and will come out. The bible gives information about what god plans to do on the earth, namely a paradise and how this will affect people, so that persons like you and me will get the possibility to see our loved ones again. And you know, in the bible there is so much evidence about where resurrections took place. For example when Jesus raised Lazarus ( John 11:43,44) or think of jesus when he got resurrected from god after 3 days. (Matthew 28: 1-20 ) and this will happen also in the very near future. Revelation 21:4 ....and god will wipe out every tear from your eyes, and there will be no more death, what used to be is over. John Barry's music just seems to take you to that reflective place and although it may bring tears it will touch your heart and soul and bring you peace of mind. That is a rare and special gift.

Used to watch this movie with my Dad, he passede away 7 years ago when I was 22. He always cried when he listened to beautiful music, and after he died, I've inherited the trait. The last bit of this truly beautiful piece makes me cry like crazy 😭 ❤

I saw John Barry in London in the late 'fifties, when he had The John Barry Seven. He opened the show for pianist Winnifred Attwell. Who knew he would become one of the worlds' renowned composers? What glorious music. Like most beautiful things, it brings tears to my eyes.
It's strange for the past two years I keep coming back to this video. It has helped reduce stress from college tests and finals. There is just something about this music that makes feel relaxed and forget your worries. Glad I stumbled on this video by accident it truly has helped with stress.
Almost takes the pain of life away, and leaves you rested , calmed , almost in another place !! No-one could ask for more. The storyline of the film is heartbreaking, what more would you, could you want in life than to be truly loved?? NOTHING. We search our lives for love, and peace, to be content. A friend once said "I'm not going to let anyone spoil my day today", even in such moments ....John Barry can take us away from a difficult person unknown to us or a difficult situation. This just happened.. my heart is quietened and once again I carry on in my wonderful day. Strangers can be a nuisance sometimes. Absolutely. Until I became a fan of mr Barry’s work, i had no way to tap into my deepest emotions. I lost my mother when i was 4 and i pretty much blacked out my memories to spare myself the pain. Little did i know this man’s music touched my heart in such a way as to help me deal with the flood of emotions i go through. His music creates a story that plays over and over in my mind. Thank you Mr. Barry though i know you are gone but will never ever be forgotten.

All fantastic composers, but there just seems to be something about John Barry's work that sets it apart from even the greatest of his contemporaries. Perhaps it is his background - he grew up around film music in a family that owned cinemas, studied church music at York Minster as a schoolboy, fell in love with big band music as a young man, and was clearly blessed with the vision and talent to draw all these elements, and many more, together to become much more than the sum of their parts. Whichever way you look at it, he was a rare genius.

I put this piece of music on when I need to think and relax. I find that it stimulates my thoughts and experiences and emotions which in itself gives me a clear understanding of the world and the people in my life past and present. John Barry in my mind was and will always be a pure genius. Music is the one thing that stirs a person's feelings and emotions something inside that they cannot hide from, and John captures those feelings so beautifully in his music.

I saw John Barry in London in the late 'fifties, when he had The John Barry Seven. He opened the show for pianist Winnifred Attwell. Who knew he would become one of the worlds' renowned composers? What glorious music. Like most beautiful things, it brings tears to my eyes.
His music always gives me reassurance that humanity is still alive and well despite all that’s happening in the world.

I know it’s cheesy as hell but I still weep like a baby at the end of this film....incredibly beautiful music and a truly touching conclusion.
A friend once said "I'm not going to let anyone spoil my day today", even in such moments ....John Barry can take us away from a difficult person unknown to us or a difficult situation.
This just happened.. my heart is quietened and once again I carry on in my wonderful day.
Strangers can be a nuisance sometimes. But Barry reminds us all how precious and beautiful life is and life goes on as it should be for us all when we seek the light. Thank you for this music and ocean.

Absolutely. Until I became a fan of mr Barry’s work, i had no way to tap into my deepest emotions. I lost my mother when i was 4 and i pretty much blacked out my memories to spare myself the pain. Little did i know this man’s music touched my heart in such a way as to help me deal with the flood of emotions i go through. His music creates a story that plays over and over in my mind. Thank you Mr. Barry though i know you are gone but will never ever be forgotten.

I have just discovered this poet of the music. It makes me cry many times 'cos my mum died a few months ago and many memoties come to my mind, but he makes them be sweet and calm. When I looked at her photo I also smile and feel as if she were still here with me. Everything is because of this beatiful music.

All fantastic composers, but there just seems to be something about John Barry's work that sets it apart from even the greatest of his contemporaries. Perhaps it is his background - he grew up around film music in a family that owned cinemas, studied church music at York Minster as a schoolboy, fell in love with big band music as a young man, and was clearly blessed with the vision and talent to draw all these elements, and many more, together to become much more than the sum of their parts. Whichever way you look at it, he was a rare genius.

I put this piece of music on when I need to think and relax. I find that it stimulates my thoughts and experiences and emotions which in itself gives me a clear understanding of the world and the people in my life past and present. John Barry in my mind was and will always be a pure genius. Music is the one thing that stirs a person's feelings and emotions something inside that they cannot hide from, and John captures those feelings so beautifully in his music.
