The "OUR" in "our wife" simply means you are married to the entire family and not just to your man. It also means you will be widely accepted by his immediate and extended families if he marries you. The African people keep sowing divisions among themselves. Out of a population of about 200 million people these people come across probably less than 100 and assume they know all. This is not an insult and I am sorry if this comes as an insult but the few Kenyans I have interacted with appear “weak” or not too street smart as people in Lagos will say “wake up, don’t sleep’. They seem not to “wake up” (English translation of the Yoruba slang “ Omo masun” ). A good Kenyan friend I met as a student decades ago outside Africa later confessed that he had thought that Naija people not very good at speaking English language because all he heard them speak in those days was Pidgin English until he spent more time with naija people and realized it was for bonding. Robert, if you happen to read this I don’t know where you are , whether in Nairobi, Kisumu, Nakuru or Mombasa read this and laugh! Hakuna Matata sisters.

Dated a Nigerian guy, never noticed anything strange. He was the best person I could met I that time. He was quiet and easy, exactly wat I needed at that time. He made me sweet Nigerian dishes.
