Be patient with yourself. Everything will improve with some time. ADHD is a black hole that pulls at every aspect of one's life. As you get your ADHD under control, the instability, humiliations and disappointments it leads to will dissipate. Life is much less depressing and anxiety inducing when you can predict what your brain is going to do. Your videos are very well done and thought provoking. I wonder if you would have continued making them without the benefit of medication and the insight it provides? I think your videos show a person well on her way to a better life.
Comments like this really mean a lot to me, so thank you for your kind words. I honestly don't think I would have been able to maintain focus and/or interest in making UA-cam content without Concerta - it's crazy really! I do really enjoy it though, and I'm proud to have a small but friendly following to share my experiences with :) Em x
heya i understand the wanting your own money and income that feeling of independancy is realy important especialy if u are working so hard too earn it.thing is u are working hard too get it i think u underestimate how much effort it cost u too do all these things with your partner being realy supportive, you do deserves support and love for being you. the other view i have of this is u go too job interviews u stay strong because that is what you are you are strong and u might be like but why do i get so emotional then?! too that i say your getting so emotional and u still mange to find your self and be strong enough for an other interview if that is not worth praise i dont know what is. u are a deserving and a wonderfull person dont ever forget that. (adhd= very diffuclt in turmoil and uncertainty people with a "normal brain" would have trouble with these situations i think the things you talk about are very relatable and would cast doubt on even the strongest of minds)
Love your videos, I watch them all. It won't be long before you land one of these roles! I've been taking Concerta XL a month or so myself, 18mg. Do you take your Concerta 7 days a week?
Aw Lauren, thank you so much for your kind words (and for buying me coffee!). You are a star. It's so great to know that my videos are helpful to people (and enjoyable too!). I am currently taking 36mg Concerta XL 7 days a week, yes. In the future I might take the weekends off, but right now I'm enjoying having productive weekends! I hope your journey goes well - come back to my channel soon :) Emily x
