Thank you David so very much. I have just fixed my machine. It hadn't been serviced in years as I hadn't used in however as many years, maybe once or twice in 7 or eight years. Well I had it going and sewed a bit and it was slow and then the needle stopped going although the motor was whirring away. I took it apart, cleaned it up and oiled it and got it running again but a new problem appeared. The needle was not picking up the bobbin thread. I adjusted the needle rod but that didn't help any and I had watched two other videos which were not as clear as yours in the issue of the the height of the needle in regard to the hook and even where the hook should be. It was at 2:40 on your video that I paused it and saw how it should look. My hook was over extended in the rocker and I figured how to adjust that thanks to you as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you again for this video.

the needle of my machine is hitting the needle plate after sewing a small amount. Sometimes when I manually turn the needle it goes down as usual and then when I start sewing it must move as it its the needle plate and breaks...I have literally used it for about a minute and it has been kept in its box from new for over a year so I can't send it back...please help

I have a sears kenmore, it is not sewing in zig zag, and the bobbin thread keeps pulling the top thread through with lots and lots of thread. It looks horrible.. but I am really concerned that there is no zig zag. It is supposed to have several zig zag patterns... but will not do one. Only straight and only terrible. Thanks.

Question Number One when you're making a video: Does what I'm considering putting in the video help me get toward the goal that I have in making this video?
Question Number Two: Is my video about repairing sewing machines, or is it about trying every effect offered by my video-editing software?
Question Number Three: Do I want the viewer to hear my informative words and see the parts and movement that they describe, or do I want to make the viewer also read words and watch sliding cubes, spacey clouds, sparkly water, and any other distractions I can dream up?
Question Number Four: Do my answers to the questions above have anything to do with getting only 386 Likes and 10 comments from 123,000 views?
