Memories
Light the corners of my mind
Misty watercolor memories
Of the way we were
Scattered pictures
Of the smiles we left behind
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were
Can it be that it was all so simple then
Or has time rewritten every line
If we had the chance to do it all again
Tell me, Would we? Could we?
Memories
May be beautiful and yet
What's too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget
So it's the laughter
We will remember
Whenever we remember
The way we were
So it's the laughter
We will remember
Whenever we remember
The way we were
I'm already crying for the future passing of my mother who's still alive and relatively well. When the day comes, big part of me will die as well.
Mura, I have been playing this kinda of songs too! And imagining if this will happen to one of my folks. However, it did happened last year. My father passed away first. After 3 months my mother followed which best described she had a " takotsubo's syndrome" which she already has pre existing condition. Both were on their ripe age. I am planning to come home at last to pay homage to my parents and will play some of this type of music that I am pretty sure both of them will like it.
The violin is just breathtaking.
I can't help stop crying :( so touching!!
Beautiful
I did this video over a year ago and I lost the mp3 track I used. I remember it was a live performance by the Korean violinist Chee Yun Kim. Thank you for watching.
Thank you for such a lovely song and video, much appreciated
Unforgettable music! Very special! BRAVO!
Your performance, especially the violin solo from 2:50 til 3:20, could so easily induce my tears out of my eyes. EVERYTIME, without exception. Excellent version!

@thedantespick Sorry, it took so long to reply. I don't know how I could have missed your comment. The performance was by Chee-Yun, the famous Korean lady violinist. Thanks.
@RudyLuis888 I took the music from a recording of a live performance by the famous Korean lady violinist Chee-Yun. I watched a couple of your performances. Very good. Thank you for sharing.

My love, if you are the ebullient Tango in the Buenos Aires, I wanna be the flourishing Delonix regia in front of the Boca Street - - dancing with you, in the serene, clear, and shiny afternoons. My love, if you are the aloof and proud Flamenco from the Madrid, I wanna be the gentle and tender guitar from the Cambodia - - comforting your nameless sorrow and uncomprehending solitude in those sleepless nights... But nowadays, in the foreign-land-moonlight night, with the silvery song by the autumn insects, our treasurable memories of the old days purling around like the limpid stream, and you, my love, who is so far away from me, how are you going? I wish that one day, my love, I wish you to be the harp of the Mesopotamia, and I, the silvery strings - - under the similar starry sky, under the everlasting moonlight, keep playing the ancient Acacia songs for you until the end of the world.
So beautiful...
nice instrumental music, by combining piano n violin,
Giving different touch of this song.

@ReadMeReadYou I had to do this video to calm down my Asian friends. Sony blocked the other video in Asia, including the Philippines. I Had to take BS out of the video.
I knew it would take a New Yorker to appreciate the change of seasons in Central Park that I tried to convey. Another New Yorker friend who now lives in CA noticed it too. Thanks !!
nice
