Camping in the wind and rain. Yep, a nice summer trip turned pretty ugly out on Old Winchester Hill. Which is an ancient hill fort. following the South Downs way from Winchester this hill fort sits about 15 miles into the 100 mile trip.
This was a recon trip to check out some of the route for the summer hike along the whole of the South Downs way with Warren from ‪@Linleys‬
I was also testing some of the gear I plan to use, including the Lanshan 1 tent. Which faced a proper test in the rain and wind on an exposed hill top.
