So around this time Jorge Rosado who was the lead vocalist for Merauder went to go on to sing for El Nino for a quick minute, so Eddie Sutton stepped up to the mic and granted not the style you would think but hey, you be the judge of that. Enjoy!
R.I.P. SOB!
Man, I remember going to Sob's house on 43rd and playing that sparkle green Ibanez many times. Miss my brother a ton. RIP Sob. When he passed, I received a call from someone on the other end who was crying, quickly realized it was Mike MacIvor. One of the saddest moments in my life. Mike and I were in Rampage together, in High School.
I love Eddie’s take on merauder. Doesn’t have to be a Jorge vs Eddie or who did it better. It’s just sick to have another version of merauder with a totally unique singer and i think it works. So glad this footage exists. Rip Eddie.
Well said, they both are great front men RIP EDDIE
it looks like you didnt hear about MINUS 1st merauder singer.
@@S-Theo minus was quoted saying marauder needed A harder image/ singer, I think George did alot for the band, master killer was epic
Eddie was the most charismatic singer in the whole scene and I'm not even from NYC i'm from Chicago but I remember leeway coming over to Chicago to perform and I love that band.
R.i.P eddie. 🙏
Holy shit. This is such an incredible document
Such a sick video. Always loved Eddie's vocals and hearing these classics with his voice is so badass.
5:40 is unreal RIP Eddie, RIP Sob
Eddie Sutton did the job so well ! Great video !
Jorge in the pit doing gang vocals. Funny part is Eddie sings in a similar register to Minus, so the Master Killer material sounds like Minus singing here.
Eddie leeway Sutton is a legend in the scene, will be missed forever
Love ya Eddie. Still grateful for you helping me turn my life around years ago ... you'll be missed buddy!
Awesome video
This version of five deadly venoms sounds perfect!
RIP Eddie, been a long strange trip, but thanx for the memories
Absolutely legendary shit.
Incredible musicians. Incredible video. STYLE.
R.I.P EDDIE!
WOW thanks for posting this footage man !
10:05 Sob almost sounds like Eddie when he dies the backing vocals !
SOB ,.... man that dude was f'n gnarly !! Respect! I remember him showing up with a face mask on at the Super Bowl of Hardcore # 3 .. few weeks before he was at a Sick Of It All, Murphys Law , Social Decay show at the Fastlane in NJ ,. he has some beef with one of the Underdog dudes,. a Riot broke out and SOB was running out the door past me and my buddy going " Get the guns?!?!?!?" we were out of there !!! LOL
This is the best ever
Mike from Candiria on bass
And Pokey on the drums.
@@Timothy2706 Nope. Still Vinny.

RIP Eddie. Love your vocals on all projects you did!

The Chorus is Strong With this Band!!!
Eddie we miss you
RIP SOB and EDDIE!!

Rip Eddie
Good old days
This was when Jorge was singing for IL Nino?
Rip Eddie rip sob
12:30 life is pain
❤
Wrong year. This is 1998, I think.
It was the summer before 5 Deadly Venom came out. And it came out in 1999.
More than that, Merauder toured in Europe in june 1996.
And Jorge was still in the band. 😉
Thank you for the correction, we all make an error here and there.
Everybody's severely dusted.
😂😂😂
Rip Eddie Leeway Sutton
Wow i didnt knew eddie sang for merauder, so cool
But even at that time he had back problem or?
This is NYHC GOLD.
No need for debate.

96 or 98 ?
crazy how melidic find my way was, with him on vocals ideal. But to much chorus on guitars to sound wide is completely over the top, to bad
You do realise this was recorded on a potato in the 90's?
Eddie Sutton is so fantastic! Voice, performance. He' s unique! So sad that he was not the singer of the second record! For my ears crap because of that screamer! The same with the first lp. They had Minus and I loved him. The record then? Disappointing because of the singer.
But thats my personal view. No offence
jorge was best singer they ever had. you have something personal with jorge or you would not talk smack. be honest everyone loved the band with jorge besides you and couple people that are obviously deaf. lol
@@billylyle1 I mean no offence. Everybody has a different opinion. I respect yours. I never met Jorge. He is possibly the nicest guy in the world. But I don't like his voice. I love Eddies vocals. So relax
Eddie has one of the best voices of HC vocalists.
I only saw Merauder live with Minus, so I'm biased towards him in the band. Minus also had an awesome stage presence.
Beastie boys 😅
Name of the song in 21 minute. What a fucking killer.
