Love the Goodies and that episode "Radio Goodies'! The funny thing about that episode is I can totally relate the lack of music variety of their pirate station to the variety of commercial radio relative to the actual variety of music out there in this world, commercial radio play the same songs over and over and to me commercial radio in terms of variety is literally "A Walk In The Black Forest" part 1 and part 2 and that's it!!! Anyhow that aside "A Walk In The Black Forest" is actually a nice instrumental.
Awesome. I'd love to know who pissed in whoce coffee at the BBC to stop this show from being screened again. It got repeated in Australia many many times and was extremely popular.
All full episodes have been removed from UA-cam and yet the BBC refuses to release the entire series on DVD after all these years. Great tribute you've made, cheers.
Oh, it's actually quite a nice record - with this video, anyway! Some lovely 'Goodies together' moments on here. I love all the Goodies tribute videos on YT but this uses some less-commonly-seen clips, and a lot of such videos focus on one Goody (seemingly always Tim or Graeme - does anyone know of a Bill one?). MrMarchick, perhaps now the full dvd set is out you can manage to make a higher-quality remake?
The 70s and 80s were a heyday for British comedy. Now our institutions are too afraid. Just like Brexit, our institutions are too afraid! What has happened to the nation - just a bush of wimps trying to pander to everyone and doing worse than nothing.
'And now it's time for, another Walk in the Black Forest..'
RIP Tim Brooke-Taylor
