Sweet grom that 190cc zongshin engine make it a grom killer 😉 there a lot of after market parts for the 190cc you can make it into a mini gp racing engine they also have a hydraulic clutch set up for them. Just to let you know you might want to do the shift star mod to the gear selecter it will prevent it from poping out of gear 😉 it's actually a common fix /upgrade on the 190cc engine. I also live in CA and I also have a 190cc theres two other people that I no of on UA-cam with clones with 190cc that also live in CA great stuff have a good one till the next one ✌️👍👌💯🔧🏍️🍻
Looks like 15 mph off. It is the same as mine, jumps in 5th once in a while. It's not the shift star problem. I bought the EBC H-D clutch springs and going to try them soon, motoman. GIVE EM THE HORN! LOL!
are you at sea level? it doesnt look like it. there is a big difference between living at sea level, as aposed to denver co. , i want to say it can be an 10-20% difference depending on sea level. these engines are so small, you can feellthe difference more. as aposed to a 600 hp car in florida , how it feels, vs a 500hp car in denver co. best analogy i have . its also my understanding the 2v heads are not ported well, and have alot of room for improvement . i read people are getting 20hp at sea level with the 212cc zs 2v motors . pretty impressive you can find them for around 800 bucks. i think the zs212/190 with the 4 valve head from the fe engine is the way to go, and i see them for sale already made,. the fe i believe is the 5 speed, with the zs bottom end, with the 212cc bbk and the 4 valve head. at sea level its said to be good for about 25hp . i love these little bikes, im working on a few projests my self, prepping a chassis to a 1960s clone of a honda s90 , cafe, on 12 inch spoke wheels, same rubber as a grom, with the 212 motor. 2 gallon gas tank, and weighs about 70 lb less than any of the grom clones. a 250 lb motorcycle with 26 hp on the tire would feel like a monster lol. i couldnt street legal a go cart that can do that. but you can one of these little bikes.

Yes, you need a motorcycle license to ride on the street and insurance. Insurance was $80 for a year.

Your spedo might be programmed on the wrong tire size
Stock tires. It’s just way off. About 10 mph. This bike isn’t fast enough to need an accurate one lol
