If your going to look at a apartment make sure it’s later afternoon on a weekend and never morning on a work day. Specially if you have kids . And check the distance where your looking and methadone mile over your the south end it’s one block from Boston medical center.
Hi Kardana! We have clients happy in all of the neighborhoods throughout Boston. Many based their parameter around the schools (whether public or private).
Great video! I have lived on Durham street for nearly thirty years and I have to commend you for ending your video as a tribute to the southwest corridor park!
So, SouthEnd is a small but great place within Boston. But you did miss a lot of great parts to it and you did not showcase it’s diversity and cultures… This is just a friendly suggestion for future videos; you should try to get more in depth with the background of the cities you travel to. Maybe name more historical parts or more restaurants/places. Because for the majority of the video, you showed Sparrow Park. And no need to rush through the video as well, your true fans will appreciate it. 😊
Thank you very much for your comment and suggestion! We're always under a crunch to fit key elements in while keeping it reasonably timed. There are so many aspects we could go into depth on or that would justify their own segment.
Please stop referring to South End row-houses as “Brownstones”: Brownstone refers to the finish cladding of the building’s street facade, and examples can be found in Boston’s Back Bay. The street facade of a typical South End row-house is overwhelmingly brick.
Thank you for your input David! You’re correct that the South End is predominately bow front brick row-houses. Blackstone Square has true “brownstones” as well as buildings throughout the neighborhood. “Brownstone” has become the CleanX of property types….
In the future, please don’t show video of a South End brick row-house as the voiceover narration states the South End is home to various architectural styles such as these “petite brownstones”: knowledge of basic architectural terminology is important when professionally selling historic real estate. Thanks
@@davidjack9222 I understand your concern David. The "petite brownstones" I believe you're referring in the video to are actually done in the Federal style which are most prominent in Beacon Hill and Bay Village. We've limited time to explain and cover every aspect and given the videos are unscripted, I apologize in advance if we slip on the exact terminology. The reference was more to the nomenclature used to informally describe single-family/townhomes that are sub 2000 square feet and found throughout Boston... -Andrew

Thanks for your comment AHF!
Great video 💥
We live in Framingham but want to move into south end Boston by next year, so excited.
Hey Andrew and Josh! What neighborhood would you recommend for someone with kids?

Amazing! Durham is a bit of a sleeper, nestled between Back Bay and the South End. St Botolph in the spring with the cherry blossoms is AMAZING!
Love these Andrew!
Thanks Rick!
Andrew and Josh, amazing videos! ; )
Thank you!!
South End Originally Roxbury, before it got taken over, but cool video
This is true! The "South End" wasn't a neighborhood until the landfill project when that section was named. It's still essentially a part of Roxbury.

4 generations of my family displaced by gentrification from the South End. My grand-parents, my parents, my siblings, my children…
A lot has changed over the past few hundred years in Boston as the neighborhoods.
