Wood Mizer Resaw Attachment Resawing Kiln dried red oak lumber

5/4 Kiln dried Red Oak. The wood mizer resaw attachment. This is not exactly want the resaw was intended to do. I have a customer who wants me to cut some 3/8 inch kiln dried lumber that is at least 12 inches wide. I don't know if "cutting 3/8 inch green lumber and then putting it in a kiln to dry" would be a very good idea. So the only way i have to get 3/8 inch kiln dried lumber, is to resaw my 1" boards. As you can see i have trouble getting a consistent 3/8 board. Kiln dried oak has some waves in it, and there are some knots in this board, so it makes it hard to get the thin boards off the top.

Hard by yourself, but i am just getting started with it. Going to try some siding and some shingles soon.
