From "The Way of the Master" Season 3
Here we see that Lord Jesus identifies Himself as God (Jehovah):
"'I and my Father are one.' Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, 'Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?' The Jews answered him, saying, 'For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and BECAUSE THAT THOU, being a man, MAKEST THYSELF GOD." (John 10:30-33)
The Jews were angered because Jesus called Himself God.
Here in the Old Testament, Jehovah doesn't yet give Moses His name, but calls Himself "I AM":
"And God [Jehovah] said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." (Exodus 3:14)
"Jesus said unto them, 'Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.' Then took they up stones to cast at him..." (John 8:58-59)
Once again, Jesus identifies Himself as God, angering the Jews.
The following is an Old Testament prophecy of Jesus [empasis added]:
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)
Here Jesus is called "The mighty God" and "The everlasting Father." Remember Jesus' words "I and my Father are one." (John 10:30)

Christ actually means 'The Chosen One.'
      The Name Jesus Christ means,
"He is come, the Chosen One.'
Now, how did Jesus forgive sins?
It is written, "Only God can forgive sins."
So either Jesus was telling lies and sinning himself or he was able to forgive sins which makes him God. Simple, really.

Jesus Christ is God in the flesh.
In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
14 And the Word (Jesus) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Thomas the disciple declared concerning Jesus, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. Titus 2:13 encourages us to wait for the coming of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ (see also 2 Peter 1:1). In Hebrews 1:8, the Father declares of Jesus, “But about the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The Father refers to Jesus as “O God,” indicating that Jesus is indeed God.
In Revelation, an angel instructed the apostle John to only worship God (Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9, 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation did. There are many other passages of Scripture that argue for Jesus’ deity.
The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death.
Jesus Christ is eternal. He created all things. John 1:1-3 and Col. 1:16
Jesus Christ did not create himself.

Once again JWs. Show me proof that Jesus is Michael the Archangel. I can show you proof where Jesus claimed to be God.
John 10:30-33, What made the Jews want to kill Jesus? Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God. In Isaiah 44:6 who is the First and the Last? How many First and Last can there be? In Isaiah 43:11 God says there is NO other Savior, but only Him. In Titus 2:13 Jesus is our God and Savior. I forgot that in the NWT they omit that Jesus is God. They could NOT remove that Jesus is our Savior. God says He is our only Savior in the Old Testament. One more thing relating to this topic in Jude 1:9 Michael the Arch Angel could NOT rebuke Satan. Michael said the Lord Rebuke you. Jesus rebukes the Devil in very simple terms Matthew 17:18. And who rebuked the devil??????? JESUS

The translators of the King James Version of 1611 (KJV) were scholars, and they All were very much aware that the Bible does not support a Trinity teaching. But despite this fact, they allowed their theological bias to support the Trinity doctrine a belief which the Jews never supported or taught hundreds of years after the death & resurrection of the Christ.

I'm not a Jehovah's witness and I can read and understand for myself.
1st of all, Jesus actually never proclaimed to be God, but always refered to himself as the son of God. When did Jesus ever say it is okay to worship him. He specifically told his deciples to worship God and not him. Why would God tell his servants to worship God?
Secondly, if I am the son of a king and a great ruler then I become royalty with governmental authority, I will be called your majesty because my father rules as king. I may also have authority over much of my father's kingdom and may be able to execute my judgement in the absence of my father,,, but I still will not have the supreme power of my father.
Third point, nowhere in the Bible is it ever said that Micheal is an angel, it says he is the arc angel, the head of all the angels. And his name means, "who is like God"
If Jehovah's witness really teach those things, which I think can be easily deciphered by reading the book, then maybe they aren't so shallow after all. Maybe I should have answered the door a little more often I guess

You need to re-read key texts. Yahweh said in the old Testament "I am what I am". In the gospels when asked Jesus said to the jews why they were going to stone him, the jews professed because he was a man claiming to be God. Jesus replied, "before Abraham was, I AM".
When Thomas saw the resurected Jesus he fell to his knees "My Lord and my God" , Jesus accepted his words without correction. And lastly,
Read Zachariah 12:10 for the smoking gun..

I'm not Jehovah witness but they're right. Jesus is the son of God, The Angel of YHWH (LORD) (in the old testament). Michael means "He who is like God" and it's a title/a name for the one we know as Jesus. The
Jesus is the chief of the armies and the great interceder, The protector of his people (not a mere angel), and Michael is also those things. There is only one Savior, judge and protector.
Michael is a name for the one we call Jesus. He's also the Word of God. Long before we knew him as Jesus he was known as The angel of YHWH, Michael, Emmanuel, etc.
You must unlearn what you have been taught. It's like Jewish who keep saying there is no mention of Jesus in the Hebrew Bible.

Christian church has become very familiar with anti-Trinitarian cults over the last 10-15 years. Jehovah's Witnesses who have over 8 million worldwide, Mormons who now have 10 million worldwide, Iglesia Ni christo, the Way International and numerous others are mostly enjoying growth. What has gone very much unnoticed by the church and is also enjoying growth is the Oneness Pentecostal / Apostolic church movement. Which now is the third largest anti-Trinitarian church in the world, having anywhere from 5-6 million or more adherents. Oneness Pentecostals are unique as far as being considered a cult. Much of what they say we could agree upon and they with us. Yet the very nature of God is at the center of this modern day controversy. Unlike other cults that deny the deity of Christ they affirm it, however they pour a new and unique way of defining it. Its not that this is something altogether new but actually something very ancient

Nobody have seen God but Jesus was seen by everybody. Jesus refer to God as father and God. He didn't speak by his own initiative but the fathers. Even atheist like Christopher Hitchens that dont care at all about any religion knows that Jesus was the son of God. The trinity idea was adopted in the council of Nicea and its a false. Not jesus and not his disciples taught the trinity. In fact you can find trinity of God in other religions like Egypt and Hinduism, polytheistic societies. God is just one God as you expect rationally to be, and he is forever. He create his son 1 col 1:15 I think descrive it. In fact he gets more authority when he fulfill his mission on earth. He himself said "that all authority was GIVEN TO HIM, again GIVEN. How was Jesus call before he was Jesus. Michael the archangel, the principal of God creation. He came to earth and was call Jesus, he has been call many names ro the scriptures, Emmanuel, silo, so on. This not discredite the divinity of Jesus as the king of kings, in fact Jehovah select him to sit on the throne until he destroy the devil and his world. He is the mediator between Jehovah God and men.

That is not right. Indeed Isaiah said that God Jehovah is the only creator but Colossians 1:15 talking about Jesus said "He is the first born of all creation". Note that he has a beginning. Verse 16 by means of him, through him all others things were created. John 20:17 "I am ascending to my father and your father and to my God and your God". How can God have a God? How can God adore himself?. When the devil was talking to Jesus he never recognize him as God himself, he said Luke 4:3 "If you are the son of God, tell this stone to become a loaf of bread". You think that the Devil will talk to Jehovah in that manner?. This not just happen once. There is other case in Luke 4:34 another demon said "I know who you are, the holy one of God". Demon know God, they were once in his presence, . He was never recognize, neither recognize himself ever as God. But he is the king that God has chosen to destroy the works of the devil. Once this is fulfil then 1 Corinthians 15:24 "Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power" verse 27 "For God "subjected all things under his feet" But when he says that all things have been subjected, it is evident that this DOES NOT INCLUDE THE ONE WHO SUBJECTED ALL THINGS TO HIM".
If you really want to know the history of the trinity check out the Council of Nicaea. That should explain to you why believing in the trinity is polytheism and that it has not biblical foundations.

Jesus is one part of God
      Scripture proves it.
      God is sevenfold spirit.
Gen 1:2 The SPIRIT of God moved across the water. God did not move, his spirit did.
In the beginning God said let US make man in OUR image/genesis 1 26.. in the Hebrew the word used is" elohim" which is plural. He was not speaking to angels.

Michael Adejoro before you comment on something make sure you do research and know more about it. it's NOT a son of seed, where is the mom in heaven. NO SEX, NO MALE OR FEMALE but spirit.
      1. In genesis way in the beginning, ( At the beginning was the WORD(JESUS) was with GOD and the WORD was A GOD). Proof Jesus is God
      2. Jesus forgive SIN. Who can forgive sin other then GOD himself???? PROOF
      3. Isaiah 9:6 PROOF (read it yourself) God Father give glory to God Lamb. I though God say he doesn't share his glory.
      4. Jesus second coming he will judge us and give us a account for OUR sins. Who can do that other than GOD. (PROOF)
      5. JESUS is NOT the son of GOD. SON in the bible was used because Jesus took the form of a human and came out of a woman womb. However, Jesus was there way before the beginning he was called the WORD. ( the word became FLESH)
JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF GOD and THE WORD OF GOD. short word GOD ALMIGHTY.

Where in the Bible does it say that Michael is an archangel, the general of the army? Nowhere.
Jesus is the son of God, he is the general of the army of God, then one who will come on the day of the Lord with his army of angels. Michael is not a simple angel (in the modern sense of the word), Michael means "He who is like/similar to God". Michael is clearly just a title for the one we call Jesus. There is no "angel" Michael. Angel or Malak (in the old testament) means messenger and even humans can be called "angels" or "malaki", in some places prophets are called "angels" (malakim) aka messengers of God in the old testament.
Also Jesus is The Angel of YHWH (LORD) who is all over the old testament.

13 Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” 14 And they said, “Some say John the Baptist; and others, [h]Elijah; but still others, [i]Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.” 15 He *said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are [j]the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon [k]Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Hi again. Just another truth to share. Whether Jesus was Micheal and volunteered to be a ransom sacrifice for our sins or God put Jesus in Mary's womb through His Holy Spirit. Jesus was a created being. God cannot be a created being. 2 Timothy 4:3, 4 tells us, For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the wholesome teaching, but according to their own desires, they will surround themselves with teachers to have their ears tickled. 4 They will turn away from listening to the truth and give attention to false stories.

Jesus is Michael in the Bible although it is only a conclusion but there's a solid scriptural evidence that Jesus is Michael according to the Scriptures in Daniel 12:1 and Matthew 24 that both Michael and Jesus do the same actions and at Daniel 12:2 and in John 5:25 that Michael also have an authority like Jesus to raise the dead but clearly in the Bible that only Jesus was given that kind of power but Michael also can do that so we can conclude that Jesus is Michael ........even the trinitarian scholar's admitted that Jesus is Michael ..........................John A. Lees in The ISBE: states: *The earlier Protestant scholars usually identified Michael with the preincarnate Christ."
Reformer John Calvin said regarding "Michael" in its occurrence at Dan.12:1: " I embrace the opinion of those who refer this to the person of Christ." --Commentaries on Daniel
An Exposition of the Bible produced by 27 different scholars, says of Michael: "It is even itself probable that the Leader of the hosts of light (in Rev. 12:7-9) will be no other than...the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.... Above all, the prophecies of Daniel, in which the name Michael first occurs, may be said to decide the point."
So we can conclude that Michael is the heavenly of Jesus ....................................................................

JESUS is the only one worthy to open the book scrolls or even look on it (Reverlations 5 v2 to 5).If you compare John 5 v 27 and 28 to Daniel 12 v 1 and 2 the biggest dumbbell will be able to disearn that both accounts are speaking of the same event and the same person MICHAEL IS JESUS.

The title of Archangel is quite self-explanatory. The meaning of the Greek word "Arche" is "Chief". The meaning of the word "angel" is "messenger". Are any of you denying that Jesus is God's "Chief messenger" (Archangel)? Since Michael is called the Archangel, that allows only one conclusion.....Jesus is in fact the Chief Messenger (Archangel) Michael. So simple and so easy to understand that it allows no room for error or misunderstanding. The very meaning of the word "Archangel" tells us that Jesus and Michael are one and the same and the fact that the word "Archangel" (Chief Messenger) is not found anywhere in the bible in plural form also tells us that there is ONLY ONE CHIEF MESSENGER (Archangel). That Chief Messenger (Archangel) is Jesus Christ...A.K.A. Michael the Chief Messenger (Michael the Archangel).
There is only ONE Archangel (Chief Messenger). That Archangel is Jesus Christ....also known by his angelic warrior name, Michael. Another very strong point about the meaning of the word "Archangel" which means "Chief Messenger" is to ask yourself this....If Jesus is not Michael, then what message has Michael brought to us that would entitle him to the title of Chief Messenger (Archangel)??? If you would start asking yourselves those kinds of reasoning questions then you might all gain a better understanding of the bible's message.

      ***** yep ,.....
That's the fly in the ointment… I have seen a couple of broken theologies channel videos before, and I noted that he and Walter share some of the same views, when I saw Walter, I mean the Trinity delusion channel. One of the toughest things about guys that are X Trinitarian's that kind of come to the understanding that God is not a Trinity, you may notice they usually have a lot of library behind them. And if they've learned a lot on their own, they tend to want to go with their own personal opinions, sometimes, and are very reluctant to change them. And that's really too bad, just like some of the regular Unitarians, they get close to understanding the Bible, but usually at some point they veer off and miss the mark of getting accurate knowledge. It's like they hit a sticking point.
I started to chime in. When you are giving your illustration about the hammer and the now, and the building process. I grasped said, somehow I think he missed the point, though I thought your point was very direct.
I have thought about addressing this very topic myself, here's a thought, you mentioned that you were a framer. I always talk to their when they start talking about Jesus, not being a part of the creation. I use of the seek to overcome that, by use of the illustration of the architect, and the people who build the building. The architect gets credit for creating the building, but it's the workers the framers cement layers and all the trades people who actually build the building, but yet the architect gets the credit. As the creator of the building.
I look at Jehovah as the architect of all reality. After all, all reality stems from his thought process. He came up with the concept for all that is. As a matter fact, the fact that Jesus is referred to as the master worker, is more than aptly suited for just such an illustration.
Jehovah= architect of= creator of all reality.= Origin of concept of reality.=creator of blueprint and design details.

Jesus= master worker= craftsman= first creation of architect= builder of rest of reality. The person following the instructions of the architect to produce the physical creation of the concept of the architect.= Creator

Jesus "IS" Michael the archangel... if you'd like to know the facts, please read all of this, and lean not on your own understanding. Let the scriptures explain and the Holy Spirit guide.
First let's define the name Michael. it means "one who is like God".
Second, the word angel comes from the Greek word angelos, which simply means messenger (doesn't always mean a being with wings). Archangel means the highest messenger. there is none higher than Jesus Christ. Jesus is the word (our message) that became flesh to continue His message here on earth.
when reading Daniel chapter 3 and the story of the 3 Hebrew boys that were thrown in the fiery furnace, there is a 4th image seen in the fire that we know to be Jesus Himself.
He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
    Daniel 3:25 KJV
and when we read further, to verse 28...
Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his ""ANGEL"", and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
    Daniel 3:28 KJV
as we see here, the bible also calls Jesus and Angel. now let's look at the story of Jacob, when he wrestled with the angel.
And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
    Genesis 32:26 KJV
And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
    Genesis 32:29 KJV
regular angels, as we know in the bible, are messengers and also servants of God as we are. but they have no power or authority to bless anyone, only Jesus can. For example, when John sees the angel in revelation...
And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
    Revelation 22:8-9 KJV
this was a regular angel and he even said not to worship him, worship God only, for the angel is also a servant of God. back to Jacob...
And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
    Genesis 32:30 KJV
Jacob only wrestled with one man and here Jacob tells us he saw God face to face there, so who do we think this man was ? we have to think a little deeper brothers and sisters.
    The Lord hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him. Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Beth-el, and there he spake with us;
    Hosea 12:2, 4 KJV
here the bible tells us that Jacob struggled with an angel that night and prevailed (he got the blessing he was fighting for)
    now consider this
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
    Daniel 12:1 KJV
here we must know first what it means to stand....
And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia. And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.
    Daniel 11:2-3 KJV
from these verses we can see to stand means to rule, in which no angel will have the power to do. only Jesus can rule. Satan tried to rule and look what happened to him. also no angel can be a prince, there is only one prince who can stand (and rule) for the children of God, which is the son of God, Jesus.
last point I will make is 1 Thessalonians 4...
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
    1 Thessalonians 4:16 KJV
i don't think it's hard to see here that this verse clearly says the Lord Himself well descend with a shout and the voice of the archangel... "THE LORD HIMSELF WILL"... because He "IS" Michael the archangel.
I hope this helps, remember, lean not on your own understanding. let the Spirit guide and open your hearts to scripture.

The ONLY TRUE GOD JEHOVAH'S VOICE WAS HEARD FROM HEAVEN 3 TIMES IN THE GOSPELS ACKNOWLEDGING JESUS AS HIS SON AND REPRESENTATIVE OF HIS NAME.
    (1) Matthew 3:17 Look! Also, a voice from the heavens said: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.”
(2)Matthew 17:5 While he was still speaking, look! a bright cloud overshadowed them, and look! a VOICE out of the cloud said: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved. Listen to him
    (3) John 12:
28 Father, glorify your name.” Then a VOICE came out of heaven: “I have glorified it and will glorify it again.”
Whose NAME IS JESUS GLORIFYING if he was equal to God?
Mark 12: 29 Jesus answered: “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel, Jehovah OUR GOD is ONE Jehovah,
JESUS DESCRIBES God as OUR GOD and he is ONE JEHOVAH. which makes Jesus NOT his equal.
he said he was sent by this ONE GOD JEHOVAH.
John 17:3 This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the ONLY TRUE God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
JESUS FURTHER EXPLAINED THAT EVERYTHING HE DOES IS ACCORDING TO HOW HE WAS INSTRUCTED BY HIS SUPERIOR. SO HOW DOES THAT MAKE HIM JEHOVAH GOD EQUAL.
    JOHN 5:30
I CANNOT do a single thing of my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous because I seek, NOT MY OWN WILL, but the WILL of HIM who SENT me.
SOME SAY CHRIST WAS A CREATOR OR CO-CREATOR OF THE EARTH using COLOSSIANS 1:15,16
Jesus said he was NEVER Creator or Co-Creator but HE HUMBLY said his Father JEHOVAH CREATED ALL THINGS from the Beginning.
    Matthew 19:4
4 In reply JESUS said: “Have you not read that THE ONE WHO CREATED THEM from the beginning made them male and female.
SOME TEACH JESUS IS GOD HIMSELF THAT DIED FOR ALL MANKIND. BUT the bible says he is NOT GOD but was SENT by God, OUT OF LOVE 2 DIE for us.
JOHN 3:16 “For GOD loved the world so much that HE GAVE his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.
JEHOVAH(YHWH) GOD WHO GAVE HIS SON FOR US IS THE ONE TRUE GOD.

+Rugo27 Did you mention John 5?
but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. 21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. 22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. +Rugo27 Why did the NWT "translation" add the word "other" 4 times in two verse (Col. 1:16-17)? Why did the NWT added the word "Son" in Acts 20:28, even the the Kingdom Interlinear does not contain the word "Son" (Greek: "uios") in that verse? Can't you see that the Watch Tower society changes the Bible to fit its own false teachings? How is it that all created things fall down to the ground and worship the Lamb (Jesus) in Rev. 5? Isn't that idolatry? How can all things be made *FOR* Michael the archangel, a created being? (Col 1:16) Shouldn't all things be made for God Himself, and not for a created being?

There's many comments regarding Jesus not being God because he was tempted, he was man, etc. People need to remember Christ was 100 human 100 God he laid it all aside and took the form of a servant. He is deity regardless, Jesus is one with The Father. One day we will see him coming from the clouds of Heaven seated at the right hand of God, a co-occupant with God on the throne. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit yet One. Amen

I am not a JWS, but I am amazed to see so much contempt towards a group that have their beliefs and are looking for God in a way that as far as the scriptures state, it's almost 100%. I wish I could say the same thing about these clowns on this video. I have spoken to some JWS and while I don't believe in ANY religion on this earth so far, I must be honest and say that they are the ones that come closest to be a match of Jesus teaching, while the rest of the (if they could be called christians, which they are NOT) so called "christians" are pathetically making fun of them instead of reading and learning scriptures... LIKE JWS! But oh no, these prefer to go on about it like the pharisees of Jesus times. Oh God all mighty, don't take these seriously in their lack of insight and little knowledge of your word.

Jorge Ortiz also the Iglesia Ni Cristo is much closer than JWs. Check out www.incmedia.org. They differ from mainstream also. BIG difference is they do not use a bible written specifically to fit their doctrine.
      About the JWs:
The New World Translation is written SPECIFICALLY to conform with Watchtower doctrine. It has been revised at least 7 times since 1950.
I've been doing a lot of examination of JW. One is they don't allow their members to go to college. The doctrine of blood transfusion is wrong because Lev 17:11-14 pertains to eating blood. They shun members who are expelled.
The other thing is they believe Michael the Archangel became Jesus. Their website "suggests" it.
They don't believe in the Lake of Fire and the 2nd death in Rev 20:10-15.
Their members are forbidden to disagree with their elders and cannot examine other doctrine.
They also have failed end of the world prophecies (1874, 1914, 1925, 1975).
Also, a couple multimillion dollar lawsuits have been won against Watchtower for sexual abuse cases (Candace Conti for $28M and one in San Diego for $13.5M).
      INC;
The INC shares the same belief as the JW about the Father being true God (John 17:1-3, Matt 27:46, John 20:17). Jesus is the Son of God (John 20:31), man in nature (John 8:40, 1 Tim 2:5, Luke 24:36-39) but still divine (John 1 Moffatt "the Word was divine"; the other say "the Word was God" but it must be used as an adjective).
INC believes one must be in Christ to be saved (John 10:9, John 14:6), part of the body (Eph 5:23). Salvation is in no other name (Acts 4:10-12). The name of the Church is contained in Acts 20:28 (Lamsa - to feed the Church of Christ which he has purchased with his blood; other versions call it "church of God").
INC doesn't celebrate Dec 25 as Jesus' birth (that date is Sol Invictus, Festival of the Sun God - even in Wikipedia) nor Halloween.
Iglesia Ni Cristo is Church of Christ in Tagalog. Lastly, they do not isolate themselves from society like JW do; members vote, join the military, go to college and participate in many activities outside Church. They are denounced as a cult by Mainstream (particularly Filipino Catholics) because they don't accept the Trinity doctrine. They lead what would be considered a more Christian lifestyle. They are very devout in attendance of worship service (Hebrews 10:25 backs it up).

Jorge Ortiz OurHumbleLife I saw a video of a Fundamentalist couple getting physically violent towards their grandson when he came out as gay. That is one reason I am so vehemently opposed to the JW doctrine of shunning by family members when one gets expelled. Both these examples are causes of suicides among GLB and former JW, respectively. I also point out that the reason my wife is alive is because a brother in faith donated blood. Most JWs are decent people, don't get me wrong. There have been quite a few former JW that are speaking out lately.

If Jesus is God, why did he die? God is invisible and immortal (cannot die)! Let us stick to what the Holy Scriptures (especially the OT) has clearly stated and be safe. Let's not give our own faulty human interpretation of what is clearly stated in the Scriptures! Even Christ himself did not claim to be God and equal to Yahuah, the Heavenly Father. What
he declared was that he is the Son of God and even PRAYED to Yahuah Elohim.
And mind you, the true name of the Messiah is not Jesus, but Yahusha! Let's do some honest to goodness research to really know the TRUTH.

Let us begin the RESTORATION of the true names of the heavenly Father, YAHUAH (YHWH), and his Son, YAHUSHA (Yahuah Saves through the Son).
My name is George and I will always be George and not Giorgio! So with your true name, it cannot just be changed to any other name!

+Tim Spangler Then tell me the name of your Abba. Daddy or Abba are just titles. these are not names. And in passage upon passages, the Elohim has always said: 'call my name, honor my name, glorify my name, praise my name.' It is very clear that he has made known his name and the name of his Son. The original Ancient Paleo Hebrew manuscripts plainly revealed their true names: YAHUAH is the Almighty Father's name and the Messiah's name is YAHUSHA (Yahuah Saves through his Son).
The true name of the Elohim was concealed by using 'LORD' in capital letters instead of the original YHWH/YHUH. The name YAHUSHA was transliterated in Greek as iesous (hail zeus) then transliterated in Latin, and finally translated in English as 'Jesus.' Note that the letter J came about only about 600 years ago! Therefore, the name of the Messiah cannot possibly be 'Jesus.'
My name is George and wherever I may be, it will remain as it is. If I travel to any place in the world, that name will always be the one written in my passport and visa.
Let's go back to the basics by following what is originally written in the Holy Scriptures (OT) and in the New Testament, particularly the direct teachings of Yahuah Elohim and his Son Yahusha Messiah. Let us begin the restoration and start using the true names of the Elohim and the Messiah that we may have true anointing and great blessings.
HalleluYAH! Praise YAHuah through his Son YAHusha Messiah!

    • The scriptures make very clear distinctions between Jehovah, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, showing that they are not all equal, or some kind of trinity.
"And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven." - Luke 12:10
    • Jehovah God can never be tempted, but Jesus was:
"When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone." - James 1:13
"When the devil had finished tempting Jesus, he left him until the next opportunity came." - Luke 4:13
"For because he himself (Jesus) has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. - Hebrews 2:18
    • Jehovah God had no beginning, but Jesus had a beginning:
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation." - Col 1:15
    • Jesus was not equal to his Father when he was a man on earth, or after he returned to Heaven in glory. All authority Christ has, was granted him by his Father, Jehovah:
"You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. - John 14:28
"So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise." - John 5:19
"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world." - John 17:24
"Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."
    - Luke 22:42
"And when everything is subject to Christ, then the Son Himself will also be subject to the One who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all." -1 Corinthians 15:28
Not to mention, how could Almighty God have died for mankind's sins, if he is from everlasting to everlasting? If Jesus was part of a trinity, and God, and the Holy Spirit were still alive up in Heaven, then Christ Jesus never actually died for mankind, but only gave a part of himself for man's sins. Wouldn't that make his sacrifice invalid if part of him was still living? The word trinity is not mentioned in the scriptures, and the trinity doctrine is in direct conflict with what the scriptures tell us about Jehovah, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

This happens a LOT. In the case of the "Should you believe in the Trinity" booklet, there were so many false citations they no longer want the booklets distributed.

    Jesus is not God..MICHAEL
    (Mi′cha·el) [Who Is Like God?].
    1. The only holy angel other than Gabriel named in the Bible, and the only one called “archangel.” (Jude 9) The first occurrence of the name is in the tenth chapter of Daniel, where Michael is described as “one of the foremost princes”; he came to the aid of a lesser angel who was opposed by “the prince of the royal realm of Persia.” Michael was called “the prince of [Daniel’s] people,” “the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of [Daniel’s] people.” (Da 10:13, 20, 21; 12:1) This points to Michael as the angel who led the Israelites through the wilderness. (Ex 23:20, 21, 23; 32:34; 33:2) Lending support to this conclusion is the fact that “Michael the archangel had a difference with the Devil and was disputing about Moses’ body.”-Jude 9.
Scriptural evidence indicates that the name Michael applied to God’s Son before he left heaven to become Jesus Christ and also after his return. Michael is the only one said to be “the archangel,” meaning “chief angel,” or “principal angel.” The term occurs in the Bible only in the singular. This seems to imply that there is but one whom God has designated chief, or head, of the angelic host. At 1 Thessalonians 4:16 the voice of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ is described as being that of an archangel, suggesting that he is, in fact, himself the archangel. This text depicts him as descending from heaven with “a commanding call.” It is only logical, therefore, that the voice expressing this commanding call be described by a word that would not diminish or detract from the great authority that Christ Jesus now has as King of kings and Lord of lords. (Mt 28:18; Re 17:14) If the designation “archangel” applied, not to Jesus Christ, but to other angels, then the reference to “an archangel’s voice” would not be appropriate. In that case it would be describing a voice of lesser authority than that of the Son of God.
There are also other correspondencies establishing that Michael is actually the Son of God. Daniel, after making the first reference to Michael (Da 10:13), recorded a prophecy reaching down to “the time of the end” (Da 11:40) and then stated: “And during that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of [Daniel’s] people.” (Da 12:1) Michael’s ‘standing up’ was to be associated with “a time of distress such as has not been made to occur since there came to be a nation until that time.” (Da 12:1) In Daniel’s prophecy, ‘standing up’ frequently refers to the action of a king, either taking up his royal power or acting effectively in his capacity as king. (Da 11:2-4, 7, 16b, 20, 21) This supports the conclusion that Michael is Jesus Christ, since Jesus is Jehovah’s appointed King, commissioned to destroy all the nations at Har-Magedon.-Re 11:15; 16:14-16.
The book of Revelation (12:7, 10, 12) specifically mentions Michael in connection with the establishment of God’s Kingdom and links this event with trouble for the earth: “And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled. And I heard a loud voice in heaven say: ‘Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down . . . On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea.’” Jesus Christ is later depicted as leading the heavenly armies in war against the nations of the earth. (Re 19:11-16) This would mean a period of distress for them, which would logically be included in the “time of distress” that is associated with Michael’s standing up. (Da 12:1) Since the Son of God is to fight the nations, it is only reasonable that he was the one who with his angels earlier battled against the superhuman dragon, Satan the Devil, and his angels.
In his prehuman existence Jesus was called “the Word.” (Joh 1:1) He also had the personal name Michael. By retaining the name Jesus after his resurrection (Ac 9:5), “the Word” shows that he is identical with the Son of God on earth. His resuming his heavenly name Michael and his title (or name) “The Word of God” (Re 19:13) ties him in with his prehuman existence. The very name Michael, asking as it does, “Who Is Like God?” points to the fact that Jehovah God is without like, or equal, and that Michael his archangel is his great Champion or Vindicator.

Additionally, a large problem for many is that they do not have the proper understanding of what the literal definition of "angel" in the Bible is. Both the Hebrew mal·´akh´ and the Greek ag´ge·los literally mean “messenger.” When spirit messengers are indicated, the words are translated “angels,” but if the reference definitely is to humans, the rendering is “messengers.” (Gen. 16:7; 32:3; Jas. 2:25; Rev. 22:8) Whether human or angelic messengers are meant can be determined by the context.
Considering this, when Jesus was on earth, he was God's foremost messenger. He was called the "Word" because he was God's Spokesman:
“I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak. . . . Therefore the things I speak, just as the Father has told me them, so I speak them.” (John 12:49, 50; 14:10; 7:16, 17)

We try to understand others as much as possible. But this verse implies that we each have a uniqueness understood only by ourself and our Creator.
The word spirit means many things. One meaning is our thoughts and motivations and actions.
Galatians 6:18 The undeserved kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ be with THE SPIRIT YOU SHOW, brothers.
We do say: 'He has a generous spirit."

Disregarding everything that the JW's teach.
"The earlier Protestant scholars usually identified Michael with the pre-incarnate Christ, finding support for their view, not only in the juxtaposition of the 'child' and the archangel in Rev 12, but also in the attributes ascribed to him in D[a]n[iel]l ." -- John A. Lees, The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, 1930, Vol. 3, page 2048.
Concerning Michael as recorded in Daniel 12:1 John Calvin states:
"The twelfth chapter commenced, as we stated in yesterday's Lecture, with the angel's prediction as to the future state of the Church after the manifestation of Christ It was to be subject to many miseries, and hence this passage would soothe the sorrow of Daniel, and of all the pious, as he still promises safety to the Church through the help of God. Daniel therefore represented Michael as the guardian of the Church, and God had enjoined this duty upon Christ, as we learn from the 10th chapter of John, (John 10:28, 29.) As we stated yesterday, Michael may mean an angel; but I embrace the opinion of those who refer this to the person of Christ, because it suits the subject best to represent him as standing forward for the defense of his elect people." -- J. Calvin, COMMENTARIES ON THE BOOK OF THE PROPHET DANIEL, trans. T. Myers (Grand Rapids: Baker Book House, 1979), vol. 2 p. 369.

Also, "Daniel therefore represented Michael as the guardian of the Church, and God had enjoined this duty upon Christ, as we learn from the 10th chapter of John, (John 10:28, 29.) As we stated yesterday, Michael may mean an angel; but I embrace the opinion of those who refer this to the person of Christ, because it suits the subject best to represent him as standing forward for the defense of his elect people."

Daniel 12:1 - The angel here notes two things: first that the Church will be in great affliction and trouble at Christ's coming, and next that God will send his angel to deliver it, whom he here calls Michael, meaning Christ, who is proclaimed by the preaching of the Gospel.

Daniel 10:13 Withstood me - God suffered the wicked counsels of Cambyses to take place awhile; but Daniel by his prayers, and the angel by his power, overcame him at last: and this very thing laid a foundation of the ruin of the Persian monarchies. Michael - Michael here is commonly supposed to mean Christ. I remained - To counter - work their designs against the people of God.
Daniel 10:21 - Michael - Christ alone is the protector of his church, when all the princes of the earth desert or oppose it.

    Jonathan Edwards:
When Lucifer rebelled and set up himself as a head in opposition to God and Christ, and set himself as a head in opposition to God and Christ, and drew away a great number of angels, the Son of God, manifested himself as an opposite head, and appeared graciously to dissuade and restrain by his grace the elect angels from hearkening to Lucifer’s temptation, so that they were upheld and preserved eternal destruction at this time of great danger by the free and sovereign distinguishing grace of Christ. Herein Christ was the Saviour of the elect angels, for thought he did not save them as he did elect men from the ruin they had already deserved, and were condemned to, and the miserable, state they were already in, yet he saved them from eternal destruction they were in great danger of, and otherwise would have fallen into with the other angels. The elect angels joined with him, the glorious Michael, as their captain, while the other angels hearkened to Lucifer and joined him, and then was that literally true that fulfilled afterwards figuratively. Rev xii.“When there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was there place found any more heaven. Another prophecy in Dan. xii. 1, 2, 3. represents the second and personal coming of Christ; for he is meant by Michael, who is as God, as his name signifies, equal to him; the great prince, the prince of the kings of the earth, and the head of all principalities and powers.(A Complete Body of Practical and Doctrinal Divinity, The Baptist Standard Bearer, 1987 reprint, p. 617.)

"There seems good reason for regarding Michael as the Messiah. Such was the opinion of the best among the ancient Jews.... With this all the Bible representations of Michael agree. He appears as the Great Prince who standeth for Israel (Dan. xii. I), and he is called "the Prince of Israel" (Dan. x. 21). -- William L. "This being 'a war in the heaven,' and waged by Michael, who is Christ (whose warfare is not like that of earthly kings), and by His messengers, is an intellectual and polemical warfare."-J. D. Glasgow, Commentary on the Apocalypse (1872). "We have shown elsewhere that the Archangel Michael is an image of Christ victoriously combatant. Christ is an Archangel in His quality of judge; and He appears as judge, not only at the end of the world, but also in the preservation of the purity of His Church."-Lange's Commentary (1874), on Rev. 12:1-12, Exegetical and Critical Synoptic View, p. 238.
"'Michael and his angels' on one side, and 'the dragon and his angels' on the other. Christ, the great angel of the covenant, and his faithful followers; and Satan and all his instruments. This latter party would be much superior in number and outward strength to the other; but the strength of the church lies in having the Lord Jesus for the Captain of their salvation."-Matthew Henry's Commentary.
"The idea of the heavenly being who thus comes to view as a feature in old apocalyptic tradition is the source of the conception of the heavenly Messiah-the Son of Man. . . . We have already seen that the heavenly being 'like unto a son of man' of Dan. 7 was probably identified by the author . . . with Israel's angel-prince Michael; this angelic being was later, it would seem, invested with Messianic attributes, and so became the pre-existent heavenly Messiah."-Abingdon Bible Commentary, p.846.

    1. Dr White, Jehovah's Witnesses NEVER compared Jesus to Moses and Isaiah. They were not sons of God in the way Jesus was.
    2. The Bible compares death to sleep. So Jesus ceased to exist for three days and three nights because the Bible says that. God cannot die (read Habakkuk, please).
    3. To prove that Jesus is God this video quotes a MISTRANSLATION of 1 Timothy 3:16. The Greek text does not say "Theos" (God) but "hos" (he that), so a correct rendering would sound as 'He that was made flesh' etc. etc. Dr White himself does not agree with this KJV rendering, considering it a wrong edition of the Textus Receptus. See his interview with Steven L. Anderson if you don't believe it.

In Daniel 10, Gabriel is telling Daniel why he was delayed (as Daniel spent 3 weeks fasting and praying). He says he was delayed by the prince of Persia (possibly a fallen angel). Dan. 10:13 "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. 20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. 21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince."
He clearly says that Michael is ONE OF THE CHIEF PRINCES. That means there are others, and he names the prince of Persia and the prince of Grecia; and calls Michael the prince of your people (Israel). These princes obviously have spiritual dominion of principalities or governments.
Michael is Not JESUS, who is God; and the WORD who was there in the beginning at creations, according to John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

Joshua 5:13 while Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and much to his amazement, he saw a man standing in front of him, holding a drawn sword in his hand! Joshua approached him and asked him, “Are you one of us, or are you with our enemies?”
14 “Neither,” he answered. “I have come as commander of the LORD’s Army.” (JESUS). WHO IS THAT YOGI BEAR? NO its Michael The Arch Angel. Who is the commander of God's Army? JESUS. As we continue Joshua immediately fell on his face to the earth and worshipped, saying to him, “Lord, what do you have for your servant by way of command?” 15 The commander of the LORD’s Army (JESUS) replied to Joshua, “Remove your sandals from your feet, because the place where you’re standing is holy.” So Joshua did so. Only God or Jesus could say that.
Also, we note that by the commander's presence, the ground was made holy -- something usually only associated with God. In John's vision in Revelation, Jesus is portrayed as leading a great army, starting in Revelation 19:11. Thus, most assume that the Commander was Jesus.

    Dear Dr.James
I am a very inquiring Christian who is struggling to understand how "trinity" really came about and my faith in it is really shaken. I can see that the father and Jesus are each "God", but when it comes to "Holy Spirit", I am really not sure and would like your assistance in clarifying how the Holy Spirit is really "God" in the same way or manner as Jesus or the Father is "God".
My main concern here is that the bible says much more about the Father and Jesus than it does of the Holy Spirit (beyond just stating that they are each "God"):
Take for example the fact that in addition to calling spiritual entities that we must honor and worship(Yahweh and Jesus) "God", not only does the bible explicitly command us to honor, glorify and worship them, but it also tells us that they each (distinctively / each in his own right) "created all things", hence worthy of worship from all intelligent beings that they are "each" said to have created (angels and humans). and i have three key questions that I would like answered:
    1. Both the father and the Son are each (in his own right) "explicitly" said to have "created all things": Father: Revelation 4:11; Job 38:4-41; Isaiah 45:18.....Jesus Christ: John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17. Where exactly does the bible explicitly state (as explicitly as it does of the father and of the Son) that the 3rd entity in our triune God, the "Holy Spirit" created something let alone "creating all things" to suggest that he too deserves any kind of worship (from his creatures)? if there is no such scripture, but such scriptures are easily found for the father and the son, is that not an indication that we should never, be praying to or worshiping the Holy Spirit, especially given that it is the Holy Spirit himself, who directly inspired the bible and should have included that statement in it to help us worship him, right?
    2. Throughout the bible, we are explicitly told/encouraged even commanded to honor, glorify and/or worship the Father and the Son ( more often for the father than for the son as the son himself prays to the father) and examples of God fearing people entreating or worshiping either the father or the Son are abundantly available in the scriptures ( for the father: Matthew 6:9-10; Matthew 4:10; John 17:1-5.......For Jesus: John 5:23; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:6; John 20:28.....); Where exactly does the bible encourage us to glorify, honor or worship the Holy Spirit? Can you help me find one single example in the bible where true Christian(s) in the first century prayed to or worshiped the Holy Spirit? If we can't, what should that say about trinity? Should we believe that early first century Christians prayed to the Holy Spirit and yet the Holy Spirit inspired them to only record examples of worship for the father and for the son? Or should we rather conclude that trinity was only introduced after the same Holy Spirit itself had completed the inspiration of the holy scriptures without requesting any Christians to worship him?
    3. Since the Holy Spirit is "God" or an entity in "God" (in the same way as Jesus or Yahweh i.e of no less equality to the father or the Son) that we must also worship as we do the father and Jesus, each in his own right ...would you mind explaining please why this 3rd entity in God is missing in key scriptures that convey the idea of divinity and worship?
    Please consider the following examples:
    A. Revelation 5:11-14: Please explain where the Holy Spirit had gone, when the father and the son were being worshiped together at Revelation 5:11-14: where was the 3rd entity in God to also receive worship?.... Revelation Chapter 4&5 in no uncertain terms shows the worship of the father and the son, each in his own right and also in Chapter 5 together, seating on the same throne... : where is the Holy Spirit (the 3rd entity in God) mentioned in that scripture? What good reasons could possibly explain his absence, if he is any kind of God in the same sense as the father and Jesus each are (i.e. an entity outside of the father and not to be viewed in the same way as our own spirit as indicated in 1 Corinthians 2:11)? We never praise or honor someone and then arrange separate honor or praise for his/her spirit, do we? Why does trinity compel us to do just that of God, when he said that the same way we relate to our spirits, is the same way that he too(Yahweh) relates to his Holy Spirit(1 Corinthians 2:11)? Could you help me here?
    B. According to Jesus himself at John 17:1-5; why must we know "the only true God", and Jesus Christ whom he sent (Isaiah 61:1-3) in order to gain eternal life, but not know the Holy Spirit? Why does Jesus leave out the knowledge of Holy Spirit (the 3rd entity in God) as being necessary for our salvation here? Did Jesus expect us to also know the Holy Spirit as we know him and his father in order to gain eternal life and yet he did not say so here in John 17:3? if yes, who then is to blame if some people do not see any need to worship the Holy Spirit or elevate the Holy Spirit in the same manner as is done of the Father or the Son? I.e. what condemnation could possibly come to those who accept the Holy Spirit only as a helper, teacher.....as introduced by Jesus and not any kind of God in the same manner as Jesus (for example), deserving of any worship? where exactly do we as Christians get the idea that failing to worship to Holy Spirit is the same as failing to worship God?
    C. Paul explained the order and line of authority and submission he wanted Christians in Corinth to abide by and follow from woman to God, the Almighty Yahweh(1 Corinthians 11:3); Please explain why the Holy Spirit is left out of this authority structure, while both God, the father and Jesus are clearly mentioned in this hierarchy.....????? I mean: did Paul want us to respect and worship the Holy Spirit as "God" in the same manner as Yahweh and Jesus, but left him out here? why then is the Holy Spirit therefore included in our triune God? what is the rationale for including him? Have early church father not gone out of what is written in the bible to include it?
    D. Daniel 7:13-14 and 1 Corinthians 15:27-28.....show that Jesus is "given" a kingdom until all things are subjected to him (Jesus). Then Jesus hands over the kingdom back to his God and father (1 Corinthians 15:27-28). Please tell me: why does it look like the father and the son are exchanging the kingdom, but the 3rd entity in our triune God, the Holy Spirit is left out in the dark? what is happening here? when will the turn of the Holy Spirit come? The 3 entities in God are equal, right?, and each worthy of worship and kingdom according to the concept of trinity, but only two are seen exchanging the kingdom between themselves in the bible, Yahweh having the Kingdom twice before the Holy Spirit had it even once? why?
    E. Perhaps the most compelling evidence against the inclusion of Holy Spirit as an entity in "God" or as being God in the same manner as Jesus or Yahweh is the book of Act 7:55-56 when Stephen, (notice was being stoned): "being full of Holy Spirit" gazed into "heaven" and saw "the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God".....Since Holy Spirit is omnipresent, he should have seen the Holy Spirit also on the left hand side of God, right? Please tell me: why did he not see the Holy Spirit in heaven (the dwelling place of our "triune God") standing at the left hand of "God" (don't know yet whether is this our triune God or the father)? what happened? Had the Holy Spirit descended to fill Stephen and blinded him to the extent that he could not see the 3rd entity in our triune God, but saw only the two other entities of the trinity? I am baffled here, because this event shows that Steven did not believe in any triune God at all!
    F. At 1 John 2:22-23, the King James Version (KJV) bible states: "
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also."
A "liar" is not one who denies "the Holy Spirit" (as he does the other 2 entities in Godhead), but he who denies the father and/or the Son. Please explain why denying the Holy Spirit as God, is not a lie and yet it is a lie when it is done of the Father or the Son?
If John believed that the Holy Spirit is a separate entity from the Father, or any kind of "God", equal to or in exactly "the same sense" as Jesus or the Father are each "God" or divine (entities independent of each other), he surely would also have included those who deny the Holy Spirit among liars, wouldn't he? Could you please explain these omissions for me?
After looking at this evidence I am convinced just based on these few considerations that the worship of our triune God may actually be a form of Idolatry...and that 95% of all nominal Christians who believe in trinity (including myself at this stage), have been led astray! I hope that I am wrong Dr. James.....Please help clarify where I am going wrong!
    Regards,
    Tooty

Michael's inclusion as one of the chief princes does not exclude the possibility that he is the chief angel. For a comparison, during WW2 General Eisenhower was appointed supreme commander of Operation Overlord-the Allied invasion of northwestern Europe. His designation as supreme commander did not raise his rank above "General" but it did increase his authority. Similarly, Jesus, at 2 Thess. 1:7, comes "from heaven with his powerful angels" to do battle with "those who do not know God..." At Rev. 12:7, Michael leads the expulsion of the demons from heaven. At Rev.19:11-16, Jesus, the Word of God, leads the heavenly armies to victory.

Remember when Jesus was arrested and he was before the high priest and he spoke of his coming and return first in Mark 14 v. 62- "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the "Mighty" one and coming on the clouds of heaven." It's unbelievable to me that after one looks at the parallels between Michael and Jesus, he/she still refuses to acknowledge that they are one and the same.
    JESUS VS. MICHAEL
The Voice of Jesus raises the dead (John 5:26-29)
The Voice of the Archangel raises the dead (1 Thes 4:16)
Michael is called the Great Prince who watches over Israel (Daniel 12:1)
Jesus is called the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6)
Michael rescues those written in the Book of Life (Daniel 12:2)
Jesus rescues those written in the Book of Life (Rev. 20:12-20)
Michael fights and casts down the dragon/serpent of old (Rev. 12:7-9)
Jesus fights and casts dragon/serpent of old (Rev. 20:1-3)
Michael is called the archangel (Jude 9)
Jesus is called the archangel (1 Thes 4:16)
God Himself buried Moses (Deut 34:6-7)
Michael has the bones of Moses (Jude 9)
Michael (quoting YHWH) rebukes the Devil: “The Lord rebuke you!” (Jude 9)
"The LORD said to Satan, “The LORD rebuke you, Satan!" (Zechariah 3:2)
YHWH/JESUS/MICHAEL ARE ALL DESCRIBED AS "MALAK"(ANGELS/MESSENGERS)
    Archangel = LORD of Hosts
    "Archangel"means "Chief of the Angels/Messengers"
    LORD of Hosts - YHWH leads the Armies (Zec 1:3, 4:6, 7:12, 8:3-9, 14; Haggai 1:2, 2:9, 23; Isaiah 22:14; 1 Sam 1:3; Malachi 2:16)
Michael leads the armies (Rev 12)
Jesus leads the armies (Rev 20)
Jesus is called an apostle (messenger/envoy) (Hebrews 3:1)
Jesus is referred to as "another angel" (Revelation 8, Revelation 10)
Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger (Heb. "malak") of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the Lord Almighty. (Malachi 3:1b)
And He was saying to them, "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. (John 8:23)
The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all. (John 3:31)
They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. (John 17:16)
"I am the living bread that came down out of heaven (John 6:51)
"Captain of the LORD of Hosts" = Angel of the LORD
Joshua worships the "Captain of the LORD of Hosts" (Joshua 5:14)
The captain of the LORD’S host said to Joshua, “Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” (Joshua 5:15)
The Burning Bush: God said (to Moses) "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground." (Exodus 3:5)
    Angel of the LORD
Appears to Moses in the Burning Bush and speaks as YHWH (Exodus 3)
The "angel of God" says "I am the God of Bethel" (Gen 31:11)
And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. (Gen 22:11)
Hagar says to the angel of the LORD: “You are a God who sees”; for she said, “Have I even remained alive here after seeing Him?” (Gen 16:7-16)
Jacob wrestles with the angel of the LORD then says “For I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.” (Gen. 32)
    Charles Spurgeon said:
Let the Lord Jesus Christ be for ever endeared to us, for through Him we are made to sit in heavenly places far above principalities and powers. He it is whose camp is round about them that fear Him; He is the true Michael whose foot is upon the dragon. All hail, Jesus! thou Angel ofJehovah’s presence, to Thee this family offers its morning vows. (Morning and Evening Daily Readings 556)

I do not understand why it is so hard to comprehend the Trinity.
If you a mere man, living in the year 2000 had a time machine. You could take a one week vacation to the year 2020. Then in the year 2001 you take another vacation also to the year 2020. Then in the year 2002 you take one more vacation to the year 2020.
Tell me, what is the one thing that you would have found in the year 2020 every single time you we're there?
    You would find you.
The you from the year 2000, the you from the year 2001, and the you from the year 2002. All three of you standing there together yet all three of you are still the same person. Each one quite capable of doing something completely different at exactly the same time. Even able to have a conversation with each other.
If you a mortal man with something as simple as a time machine can be three individual people but yet one person at the same time. Then an omnipresent God not bound by space and time would have no problem doing exactly the same thing.
In fact there would be nothing to prevent that omnipresent God to be 20 billion people at the same time. Each one performing a completely different job at the same time. Jobs like maybe sitting on a throne in heaven as God, walking amongst the people of earth teaching them and sacrificing himself as Jesus, and comforting and guiding each and every one of his children as the Holy Spirit.
I understand it may be a bit difficult to wrap our little minds around something as complicated as living outside space and time. But that is precisely where God resides.
Please do not make the mistake of limiting God within the confines of the physical properties (time and space) that confines all of us.

Jesus referred to Himself as eternal in John 8:58-59 the same as Jehovah did in Exodus 3:14. This made the Jews so angry they tried to stone Him to death. In John 10:30-33, He again calls Himself God, and the Jews were so angry that He "being a man" would call Himself God that they again tried to stone Him. Then there is Isaiah 9:6, where Jesus is called the Prince of Peace, The Mighty God and The Everlasting Father.

Arianism misunderstands biblical references to Jesus’ being tired (John 4:6) and not knowing the date of His return (Matthew 24:36). It may be difficult to understand how God could be tired or not know something, but these verses speak of Jesus’ human nature. Jesus is fully God, but He is also fully human. The Son of God did not become a human being until a specific point of time we call the Incarnation. Therefore, Jesus’ limitations as a human being have no impact on His divine nature or His eternality.
A second major misinterpretation in Arianism concerns the meaning of firstborn as applied to Christ. Romans 8:29 speaks of Christ as “the firstborn among many brothers and sisters” (see also Colossians 1:15-20). Arians understand firstborn in these verses to mean that the Son of God was “created” as the first act of creation. This is not the case. Jesus Himself proclaimed His self-existence and eternality (John 8:58; 10:30). In Bible times, the firstborn son of a family was held in great honor (Genesis 49:3; Exodus 11:5; 34:19; Numbers 3:40; Psalm 89:27; Jeremiah 31:9). It is in this sense that Jesus is God’s “firstborn.” Jesus is the preeminent Person in God’s plan and the Heir of all things (Hebrews 1:2). Jesus is the “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).
After nearly a century of debate at various early church councils, the Christian church officially denounced Arianism as a false doctrine. Since that time, Arianism has never been accepted as a viable doctrine of the Christian faith. Arianism has not died out, however. Arianism has continued through the centuries in varying forms. The Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons of today hold a very Arian-like position on Christ’s nature. Following the example of the early church, we must denounce any and all attacks on the deity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jesus is worshipped by the angels (Heb. 1:6) and by man (Matt. 14:33), and yet only God is to be worshipped (Ex. 34:14). Christ Himself said that worship is due to God alone (Matt. 4:10), and yet He accepted worship. If Jesus in His pre-existent state were the archangel Michael, how could He have received worship, since angels are not allowed to receive worship (Rev. 19:10)? If Christ were not God, then worshipping Him would be idolatrous

    • @tdickensheets

Arianism developed around 320 in Alexandria Egypt and concerning the person of Christ and is named after Arius of Alexandar. For his doctrinal teaching, he was exiled to Illyria in 325 after the first ecumenical council at Nicaea condemned his teaching as heresy. It was the greatest of heresies within the early church that developed a significant following. Some say, it almost took over the church.
Arius taught that only God the Father was eternal and too pure and infinite to appear on the earth. Therefore, God produced Christ the Son out of nothing as the first and greatest creation. The Son is then the one who created the universe. Because the Son relationship of the Son to the Father is not one of nature, it is, therefore, adoptive. God adopted Christ as the Son. Though Christ was a creation and because of his great position and authority, he was to be worshiped and even looked upon as God. Some Arians even held that the Holy Spirit was the first and greatest creation of the Son.
At Jesus' incarnation, the Arians asserted that the divine quality of the Son, the Logos, took the place of the human and spiritual aspect of Jesus thereby denying the full and complete incarnation of God the Son, the second person of the Trinity.
In asserting that Christ the Son, as a created thing, was to be worshiped, the Arians were advocating idolatry.

    • @tdickensheets
      @tdickensheets 3 роки тому

The teaching that Jesus is Michael the Archangel is an old, tired Arian argument. The early Adventist pioneers taught the heresy called "Arianism" which teaches that Jesus is not God the Son, the second Person of the Trinity. Those who believe this false doctrine teach that Jesus is an exalted angel. Those, such as Jehovah's Witnesses, who promote this heresy today teach that Jesus is Michael the Archangel.
This early Adventist heresy appeared in several books and articles published by the church. It even manifested itself in the hymnology of the church. In the official Seventh-day Adventist hymnal, published from 1941 until its recent revision in 1985, the church had changed the words of the hymn "Holy, Holy, Holy" which says, "God in three Persons, blessed Trinity" to "God overall who rules eternity."

As for the manuscripts...I read a report (can't find it--working on it) that presented evidence that the verse was indeed in the majority of ancient source manuscripts, but there were maybe less than a handful that did not have it, which were considered to be altered by blasphemers. Some people say that since the verse is not in the manuscripts we have now, we should ignore it. The entire book of 1 John is mostly missing from current manuscripts, but we certainly don't ignore the whole book.

Thank you for this video. I was a JW until a few weeks ago. The NW translation of the Bible JWs use, has even taken out scriptures that call Jesus the Alpha and the Omega, and that shows that true followers of Jesus worshipped him. Any scripture that shows Jesus is God, they have taken out, or mistranslated it. JWs like me, who came into the "truth" of the JW religion when we were children, cannot know the real truth about who Jesus is, unless we read another translation. Thank you again.

      @user-bx3tl3yc2u Terrible interpretation.
Romans 10:13 is referring to Jesus.
That's what happens when the Governing Body decides to add "Jehovah" to the New Testament. When the Governing Body knows the name "Jehovah" is not in the New Testament.
Read the whole Chapter of Roman's 10:1-21 it's about Jesus.
      Jesus is the Gospel!
      Jesus is the Lord!
How beautiful are the feet are those who bring good news.
      (The good news is Jesus)
The Gospel means = Good news.
      The Good news is Jesus.

I am Jehovah, and I will lead you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will liberate you from their service; and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments; and I will take you to Me for a people, and I will be to you for God, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah your God, who leadeth you out from under the burdens of Egypt.
