If you can't get the r600 air box yet reinstall the turbo elbow nothing wrong there the oil is just from the pcv valve its normal pipe just worn small amount of oil travels through it to the turbo then replace the inlet pipe with a silicon one or keep it standard buy the blanking plate for the front intake and open up the other side for more air. (Almost a r600 kit lol)

It's not unusual to get a little oil in the intake pipe.... does your car use much oil in general? Maybe consider a closed cold air intake system, found these are generally better all round

Hey man so i have the exact same issue as you , i got my oil light the other day, also i feel the car is more sluggish, i have a CTS turbo cold air intake. everytime i press gas sometimes the car goes and sometimes it just feels like its very sluggish, i changed the diverter valve it helped a bit but i still feel like something is wrong, did you ever find what was wrong with your car? any pointers in general would be appreciated, thanks!
I listened to your description of why you went back to a stock intake. Do you still feel that was something that was necessary? I've got an APR air intake on my TT and I've got about 2,000 miles on it. I don't really see any reason to change back. According to APR it's good for 8 to 12 horsepower gain. With my ECS and transmission upgrade I'm estimating I have 333 horsepower. That's considerably more than a TTS so it wouldn't be worth the money for me to upgrade my entire vehicle. I just love my red TT and it's really strong compared to when I first bought it used with everything stock. The only reason I think I would ever sell it would be to get a ttrs but we know the limitation on that. Money.
Hey James ,pls advice. I've gave my TT mk3 (2016) to do stage 1 and guy just told me ecu got corrupted. He will put new one since he can't recover mine.Will my car be the same like before ? I took care a lot,now disappointed 😞

I literally couldn't even guess what mine are. I just put fuel in when I need it haha. I'd say my average is around 25-28MPG around town, 35-40 on the motorway. I drive my car everyday and have never felt it's too thirsty.
I have a 2017 TT and I get about 26 mpg around town ( lots of quick bursts of speed) and on a recent 800 mile trip driving at normally 75 MPH I got just under 34 MPG. Yes-amazing. Better than I ever expected, although they said the installation of the APR ECU, APR TCU, and the APR air box Stage 1 upgrades would show me good improvement in my mileage. They were right.
I'm in the uk and I have a 2.0 tfsi, for some reason on the motorway I can get all the way up to 48mpg somehow. I had to do a double take but that's what it says or its lying to me 🤣

A little bit of oil is ok, just from the bypass recirculation. Oil catch can? And what are you going to do with the old intake?

Start with a remap, it will transform the car haha. But if you'd like to keep your warranty intact then spacers are always a cheap and easy mod 👌🏾👌🏾

Take it to an experienced tuner then dummy?

I did not mention that is all in the US. Texas is a great place to have a TT. APR is based in Alabama, US and very well thought of .
