Considering the amount of Good Dedede has done since his more evil age, I'd be willing to give him a lighter sentence, obviously some degree of punishment is warranted, but a lighter sentence regardless. Also the whole stealing food thing kinda started and ended pretty quickly I think, so I don't think anybody would've starved to death because of it I would assume.

I’m surprised Yin Yarn didn’t get Brainwashing since he used his magic to control Dedede and Meta Knight into fighting Kirby Marx’s story (since the video seems to be a bit confused) is that he forced the sun and moon to fight to force Kirby into summoning Nova which he snatched Kirby’s wish which made Nova start hurdling towards Popstar which the sun and moon held back while Kirby destroyed it. Kirby then fought Marx and launched him into Nova which actually makes it explode and Marx survives this. Years later in Star Allies he returns to assist Kirby as long as he is well fed. I’m not joking about that last part.
Let's explain why dark Meta Knight is in the game which proves that not all the DLC characters in Kirby star allies are Canon but the original characters are Canon by King Dedede bandana Waddle Dee and Meta Knight. marx and Dark Meta Knight are still bad guys cuz they never apologized for their crimes we don't know if the descriptions for Star allies are Canon some can be Canon put some cannot be Cannon like marx and dark Meta Knight
You could technically have “turning people into yarn” fall under a mutilation charge. Since it resulted in Kirby not being able to inhale enemies or food anymore, that would likely be seen in court as an irreversible change to a person that impacted their way of life, along with all the other inhabitants of dreamland he turned into yarn Edit: Drawcia would likely also get this charge, but just for turning Kirby into a ball, as she doesn’t seem to transform any other inhabitants.
Looking this up, he’d likely get stuck with a sizeable fine, and spend up to 5 years in prison for every mutilation charge he gets (likely a LOT since he yarned so many people)
Hyness wasn't corrupted he just went insane, his whole plot was him getting back at the people who banished his tribe to wherever he's been till now. If anything kirby cured his heart of all malice he had returning him to the kind being who save the mage sisters from death(or rezzed them after depending on how you look at things) but he was malicious and headed a genuine doomsday cult.
I think it would probably be only: Assault with a Deadly Weapon Attempted 2nd Degree Murder Attempted Regicide Attempted Hostile Takeover My approximation would say he would probably get the life sentence. Man’s was a villain for one game but did some very bad crimes.

Story went, his ship was coming to invade dreamland because in his opinion DDD was a sucky ruler and the citizens were too lazy. So he started a war for the rule of the country. Kirby was litterally the only citizen Metaknight respected and when Kirby took him down he accepted the outcome of the battle and never once tried to take over Dreamland again.
I feel as though Fecto Elf Ellis should be a special case. It’s implied he was basically treated like a lab rat, and beforehand was basically just roaming the stars, and what he tried to do was drastic measures just to escape. I would still say he deserves a long sentence, but we don’t really know if he’s immortal or not, so I’d give him life with parole since he could have a chance to redeem himself. Plus the butterfly judged him well enough already.
Fecto Elfilis was also in the Forgotten Land in the first place to wreak havoc and destroy so it’s not like he was a peaceful being. It’s well-established that he intended to kill everything on the planet before he was defeated and captured.

Nah, they have been established to assimilate some unlucky planets and almost did the same to the forgotten land, his experience as being stuck for some thousand years likely made their thirst for destruction stronger, but they were already pure evil to begin with

I still think it's funny Daroach got hit with a light fine that would probably not be too inconvenient, assuming a reasonable wage(which admittedly does seem to be a pretty brash assumption these days!). Simply _having_ a criminal record is probably worse.
That's pretty much the issue with getting Dedede for anything. Even if he never stopped being a villain, one couldn't use the law against him because he IS the law in Dream land. He iirc never committed any crimes in other territories besides when he stole stars one time, but I'm fairly sure space is a neutral zone were everyone can do whatever.

If I remember correctly, Hyness wasn’t actually corrupted by the jamba heart in the base story. Instead his actions were taken in an act of revenge and malice towards the other faction of the ancients who cast them away, afraid of their magical power. When hyness *was* corrupted by the Jamba heart was in the heroes in another dimension mode, explaining why he takes that darker form and is healed by the friend heart at the end of it.

Technically it’s the opposite way round: Hyness was corrupted by the Jamba Heart. If you read the screens of some of the earlier bosses in Star Allies they talk about how characters “fall prey to its influence” and “become their worst self”.
Fecto elfilis DID murder several animals after Leos boss battle and unlike Leo, they never escape. In the final confrontation, you can see them struggling to escape, only for them to explode.

That was not animal abuse all he wanted was to get landia out of the way and take the master Crown to gain infinite power but the crown controlled magolor and almost killed him but luckily Kirby saved him but he lost all of his powers in magolor epilogue and also the game was about him redeeming himself even destroys the master crown by putting his own power into a sword to make his own version of the ultra sword
Hyness was actually never possessed by the Jamba heart, that openly happened after the events of the story mode. Hyness forsook his own heart in retaliation for what happened to his people and let himself get controlled by the negative emotions of revenge and hatred. It was these emotions that powered the Jamba heart when we sacrificed himself. So I’d argue that while somewhere down the line he did lose sight of reality, it was all due to his own choices to bring about revenge so i feel like he shouldn’t walk free

@@Puss_pog wow I understood almost none of that but being betrayed doesn’t excuse him from succumbing to his own negative emotions and almost completely destroying the universe. Yeah being betrayed is never fun but doesn’t warrant trying to end the world which is what he chose to do while completely in his right mind, not possessed by anything.
The fun part is that if criminal law actually existed in Kirby, then I'm fairy sure it would be decently hard to get Hyness for anything besides compensation for the accident of rogue jamba hearts causing damage. He was chilling in space and never directly interacted with any particular territory that isn't presumed neutral. The closest we get is the mage sisters parking the jambastion at Popstar and causing issues at his command. Potential issue with that being that there is reasonable doubt at the degree of his particular involvement in that incident. Iirc, the only confirmed orders were "look for and collect the hearts", not "drive one of our bastions around and cause damage."
From what I heard the one thing that gave soul marcs first appearance was meant to be a hint towards the DLC years before it came AKA hinting that he actually survived
Daroach's crime isn't even full-on theft. There's a separate charge for theft of low-value objects, it's called petty theft. And while theft is normally a felony, petty theft is a misdemeanor. Yin-Yarn, or more accurately his nitting needles, which are the actual entity (Yin-Yarn himself is a puppet), is technically also guilty of mutilation, which is a war crime. Normally this charge is reserved for grievous and permanent injuries but it's defined as inflicting any injury that results in disability. Turning someone into yarn would definitely qualify. Drawcia and Necrodeus would also be charged with mutilation for turning Kirby into a ball and murdering 9/10ths of Kirby respectively.
We had to put the souls of the former deceased villains into weaker bodies. We also had to force control so Star Dream couldn't escape. And don't even get me started on Zero and 0²! We also had to make the cells teleport-proof for Dark Mind and Nightmare!
Technically, Daroach didn't steal Kirby's cake. If you either look at the sprites for that cutscenes or slow down said cutscene, we can see it was indeed a Waddle Dee who committed the crime.

Magolor was controlled by the Master Crown. In the epilogue of Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Magolor actually is a good character. The doomers and the crown's spirit are the real villains of that game. Good thing Magolor became a shopkeeper of the Dream Kingdom. That's community service under his belt.

Void Termina is a baby. The actions that he took were a result of an outside corruptible force and a really bad tantrum. Hyness on the other hand, is completely insane. He is not mentally stable and a danger to himself, the people directly around him and by extension the universe.
Necrodeus should absolutely get attempted murder thrown onto his sentence. The only reason he left one kirby alive is because that one managed to escape while he killed the rest.

I feel like I should correct a few inaccuracies: 1. King Dedede did not steal food in Kirby's Dream Land 2. That only happened in the first game and Star Allies (the latter due to corruption). In Dream Land 2, Dedede was simply possessed by Dark Matter and sent into a deep slumber. 2. Queen Sectonia did not mistakenly think Dedede was the hero of Dream Land, nor did she brainwash him. That was all Taranza. Sectonia even blasts him away for his failure at the orders she gave him. 3. Hyness was not corrupted by the Jamba Heart. He was corrupted by the darkness in his own heart after forsaking it and becoming obsessed with worship and revenge. However, he was further corrupted by another Jamba Heart in the epilogue. 4. Daroach actually didn't steal Kirby's cake. It was some random Waddle Dee lmao 5. Marx was never good. He was always plotting to take over Popstar for his mischievous deeds. 6. Star Dream did not corrupt Haltmann. It simply erased his memories of his daughter, which caused him to change his goal to eternal prosperity for his company. Star Dream didn't even do that intentionally; it only happened because it was incomplete at the time. 7. Fecto Forgo's attempts at reformation weren't "fake." What do you mean by that? Also, Soul Forgo is not a reformation, it's just Fecto Forgo's soul without a body. 8. Star Dream's hatred for all life does have a reason: in line with Haltmann's goal of eternal prosperity for his company, it determined that all forms of life would be a liability to that. 9. Void Termina did not travel the cosmos to terrorize and murder people who didn't worship him. In fact, I don't think he even existed before Star Allies lol. To put it simply, Void Termina is a reincarnation of Void using the Jamba Heart as a vessel. 10. Void Termina, nor Void himself, were sealed in the Jamba Heart. It was the Jamba Heart itself that was sealed away because it was producing darkness. The English localization screwed that up so I don't blame you for that. 11. The Dark Matter don't want to take over and rule planets. They simply want to plunge them in darkness.

Well... fecto elfilis did get killed. It became one with elfilin. Straight up became chaos elfilis. Died to kirby. Copied other soul bosses moves. Then died again and became peaceful as it allowed itself to be absorbed by elfilin.

Probably most or all of them can break out of prison with their powers. Like teleportation or breaking the walls. It would make sense if their powers were taken away from them.
To be fair to Void, it acts essentially as an echo to the emotions of those around it; and influencing those around it with those emotions: not possession. Basically, Hyness and Void were caught in a downward spiral of negative emotions. Also, many of your points on Void were speculative; we don’t know what was Void’s original rampage’s catalyst, just that it needed to be sealed away. Secondly, Void in present wanted to annihilate the world because that was the wishes of its followers: the Jambastion Cult(I guess). The wish to leave this world and start anew. Going back to my original point of Void morality being influenced by the emotions around it, I believe life with parole is a more fitting punishment; you just need some really positive thinking people for rehabilitation session with them.
Two things: Zero, Zero Two, Dark Matter, and Dark Nebula are all Canonically guilty of several cases of genocide Void Termina is heavily suggested to be a title, a general term for a being born of evil Void. So as Kirby is all goodness, Void Termina is pure wickedness.

Potentially Permanently changing someone’s physical appearance(Technically if changing someone’s race which we could consider becoming yarn as in the Kirby universe would be considered:) is Mutilation. With World domination not having accomplished a task does not eliminate that it’s a crime. Especially when intending to use a potentially devastating weapon like for example; A device that can make any desire come true and turn you into essentially a god or equate to enough power to conquer a planet. Also potentially even being in possession of that level of power could be illegal if it were possible. There’s also the idea of a pardon.

Marx’s story (since the video seems to be a bit confused) is that he forced the sun and moon to fight to force Kirby into summoning Nova which he snatched Kirby’s wish which made Nova start hurdling towards Popstar which the sun and moon held back while Kirby destroyed it. Kirby then fought Marx and launched him into Nova which actually makes it explode and Marx survives this. Years later in Star Allies he returns to assist Kirby as long as he is well fed. I’m not joking about that last part.
Let's explain why dark Meta Knight is in the game which proves that not all the DLC characters in Kirby star allies are Canon but the original characters are Canon by King Dedede bandana Waddle Dee and Meta Knight. marx and Dark Meta Knight are still bad guys cuz they never apologized for their crimes we don't know if the descriptions for Star allies are Canon some can be Canon put some cannot be Cannon like marx and dark Meta Knight
You could technically have “turning people into yarn” fall under a mutilation charge. Since it resulted in Kirby not being able to inhale enemies or food anymore, that would likely be seen in court as an irreversible change to a person that impacted their way of life, along with all the other inhabitants of dreamland he turned into yarn
Edit: Drawcia would likely also get this charge, but just for turning Kirby into a ball, as she doesn’t seem to transform any other inhabitants.
Looking this up, he’d likely get stuck with a sizeable fine, and spend up to 5 years in prison for every mutilation charge he gets (likely a LOT since he yarned so many people)
Hyness wasn't corrupted he just went insane, his whole plot was him getting back at the people who banished his tribe to wherever he's been till now. If anything kirby cured his heart of all malice he had returning him to the kind being who save the mage sisters from death(or rezzed them after depending on how you look at things) but he was malicious and headed a genuine doomsday cult.
If Dedede was one this list then Meta Knight should cause he was the main villain in at least one game

Story went, his ship was coming to invade dreamland because in his opinion DDD was a sucky ruler and the citizens were too lazy. So he started a war for the rule of the country. Kirby was litterally the only citizen Metaknight respected and when Kirby took him down he accepted the outcome of the battle and never once tried to take over Dreamland again.

I feel as though Fecto Elf Ellis should be a special case. It’s implied he was basically treated like a lab rat, and beforehand was basically just roaming the stars, and what he tried to do was drastic measures just to escape. I would still say he deserves a long sentence, but we don’t really know if he’s immortal or not, so I’d give him life with parole since he could have a chance to redeem himself. Plus the butterfly judged him well enough already.
Fecto Elfilis was also in the Forgotten Land in the first place to wreak havoc and destroy so it’s not like he was a peaceful being. It’s well-established that he intended to kill everything on the planet before he was defeated and captured.

That's pretty much the issue with getting Dedede for anything. Even if he never stopped being a villain, one couldn't use the law against him because he IS the law in Dream land. He iirc never committed any crimes in other territories besides when he stole stars one time, but I'm fairly sure space is a neutral zone were everyone can do whatever.

Technically it’s the opposite way round: Hyness was corrupted by the Jamba Heart. If you read the screens of some of the earlier bosses in Star Allies they talk about how characters “fall prey to its influence” and “become their worst self”.
Fecto elfilis DID murder several animals after Leos boss battle and unlike Leo, they never escape. In the final confrontation, you can see them struggling to escape, only for them to explode.

Hyness was actually never possessed by the Jamba heart, that openly happened after the events of the story mode. Hyness forsook his own heart in retaliation for what happened to his people and let himself get controlled by the negative emotions of revenge and hatred. It was these emotions that powered the Jamba heart when we sacrificed himself. So I’d argue that while somewhere down the line he did lose sight of reality, it was all due to his own choices to bring about revenge so i feel like he shouldn’t walk free
However he did all of that madness because of his clan get betrayed and all of his people perish
So he go into a rampage to revenge to his clan
Also his good side outcome his dark side because haterd is what make him like that
And again he is friendly and no one die so Kirby punch are more than enough to make him pay to his madness

The fun part is that if criminal law actually existed in Kirby, then I'm fairy sure it would be decently hard to get Hyness for anything besides compensation for the accident of rogue jamba hearts causing damage. He was chilling in space and never directly interacted with any particular territory that isn't presumed neutral.
The closest we get is the mage sisters parking the jambastion at Popstar and causing issues at his command. Potential issue with that being that there is reasonable doubt at the degree of his particular involvement in that incident. Iirc, the only confirmed orders were "look for and collect the hearts", not "drive one of our bastions around and cause damage."
Don't worry guys, Dedede ended up getting only 100 hours of community service by making a big cake for Kirby, also he's rich as hell.

Daroach's crime isn't even full-on theft. There's a separate charge for theft of low-value objects, it's called petty theft. And while theft is normally a felony, petty theft is a misdemeanor.
Yin-Yarn, or more accurately his nitting needles, which are the actual entity (Yin-Yarn himself is a puppet), is technically also guilty of mutilation, which is a war crime. Normally this charge is reserved for grievous and permanent injuries but it's defined as inflicting any injury that results in disability. Turning someone into yarn would definitely qualify. Drawcia and Necrodeus would also be charged with mutilation for turning Kirby into a ball and murdering 9/10ths of Kirby respectively.
We had to put the souls of the former deceased villains into weaker bodies. We also had to force control so Star Dream couldn't escape. And don't even get me started on Zero and 0²! We also had to make the cells

And I don't know where you got the "fake reformation" from, their body was destroyed at the end of the main story and presumed dead until the post-game. Once free, they merely tried to finish what they started.

Magolor was controlled by the Master Crown. In the epilogue of Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Magolor actually is a good character. The doomers and the crown's spirit are the real villains of that game. Good thing Magolor became a shopkeeper of the Dream Kingdom. That's community service under his belt.

Nightmare: death (if we count the anime) or a life sentence in a remote location far away from anyone to avoid him corrupting anyone's dreams (if we don't count the anime)

I feel like I should correct a few inaccuracies:
1. King Dedede did not steal food in Kirby's Dream Land 2. That only happened in the first game and Star Allies (the latter due to corruption). In Dream Land 2, Dedede was simply possessed by Dark Matter and sent into a deep slumber.
2. Queen Sectonia did not mistakenly think Dedede was the hero of Dream Land, nor did she brainwash him. That was all Taranza. Sectonia even blasts him away for his failure at the orders she gave him.
3. Hyness was not corrupted by the Jamba Heart. He was corrupted by the darkness in his own heart after forsaking it and becoming obsessed with worship and revenge. However, he was further corrupted by another Jamba Heart in the epilogue.
4. Daroach actually didn't steal Kirby's cake. It was some random Waddle Dee lmao
5. Marx was never good. He was always plotting to take over Popstar for his mischievous deeds.
6. Star Dream did not corrupt Haltmann. It simply erased his memories of his daughter, which caused him to change his goal to eternal prosperity for his company. Star Dream didn't even do that intentionally; it only happened because it was incomplete at the time.
7. Fecto Forgo's attempts at reformation weren't "fake." What do you mean by that? Also, Soul Forgo is not a reformation, it's just Fecto Forgo's soul without a body.
8. Star Dream's hatred for all life does have a reason: in line with Haltmann's goal of eternal prosperity for his company, it determined that all forms of life would be a liability to that.
9. Void Termina did not travel the cosmos to terrorize and murder people who didn't worship him. In fact, I don't think he even existed before Star Allies lol. To put it simply, Void Termina is a reincarnation of Void using the Jamba Heart as a vessel.
10. Void Termina, nor Void himself, were sealed in the Jamba Heart. It was the Jamba Heart itself that was sealed away because it was producing darkness. The English localization screwed that up so I don't blame you for that.
11. The Dark Matter don't want to take over and rule planets. They simply want to plunge them in darkness.
I honestly never thought of Dedede as a villain.

Probably most or all of them can break out of prison with their powers. Like teleportation or breaking the walls. It would make sense if their powers were taken away from them.
To be fair to Void, it acts essentially as an echo to the emotions of those around it; and influencing those around it with those emotions: not possession. Basically, Hyness and Void were caught in a downward spiral of negative emotions. Also, many of your points on Void were speculative; we don’t know what was Void’s original rampage’s catalyst, just that it needed to be sealed away. Secondly, Void in present wanted to annihilate the world because that was the wishes of its followers: the Jambastion Cult(I guess). The wish to leave this world and start anew. Going back to my original point of Void morality being influenced by the emotions around it, I believe life with parole is a more fitting punishment; you just need some really positive thinking people for rehabilitation session with them.
