Just wasted my time watching this.
My husband caught polio at six years old a month before the vaccine was approved. Had to stay in an iron lung for a while and multiple surgeries in one shoulder that had low range of motion.

The majority of current polio cases are manmade, and come from oral polio vaxxxines that are commonly used in third world countries. The very few cases of old-school, natural polio (WPV1) are all in Pakistan and Afghanistan today, and there are literally less than 10 cases per year. But oral vaxxx-derived polio (cVDPV) accounts for over 1000 cases of polio worldwide, including the one case that occurred in NY State in the past few weeks. Most cases of cVDPV occur in developing nations. Dude in NY got the vaxxx-derived polio, but he didn't get it from a vaxxxine (he was unvaxxxinated), and he likely wouldn't have contracted the disease had he been vaxxxinated.
As usual, it's a somewhat complicated issue but ppl are going to reduce it to very simple terms.

I was among the kids and parents lined up at our Mormon church in S. California to get the sugar cube that had the polio vaccine in the 50s. Don’t know why there instead of at the public schools. I assume my parents ate it too. My mom’s sister had a mild case of polio that affected her feet.
Until at least the 70s most kept shot record booklets. My mom kept ours and I took care of my kids. Every time a vaccination was done, the nurse wrote it in the booklet. That had to be shown when we started at a new school too. Do they not do that anymore?
Well, per a retired doctor who posts about communicable diseases around the globe, including stuff from the W.H.O., many have not been getting fairly standard vaccines since COVID. Especially in poorer countries. They have to choose between Covid vaccines and regular ones in their budgets. Bet a lot of kids here have not gotten all of their shots either. And have no record of the ones they have had. A government data base is not very useful for the common person. Considering how tech often decides it doesn’t know me, that isn’t dependable either. Moms used to be because they used to keep all that stuff. Wedding, birth, shots, diplomas, baptisms, etc.. Dads? Nope. They did take kids to the doctor, school, etc..
When women became equal to men and had to get full time jobs to keep a household going is when those jobs mothers used to do was outsourced to babysitters and the government.... And Day care and the government doesn't care as much about your kids as you do.
So those kids grow up unvaccinated and unloved and then go crazy when they have to work minimum wage at jobs they hate!

When I was a kid I didn't receive half of my inoculations. I'm allergic to egg protein and a lot of the inoculations have that protein. If you sick keep yourself at home. If I could get the shots I would have as a child. This sucks
Maybe you can ask an allergist for a vaccine challenge. They administer small doses over 4 hours while you are watched over incase of a reaction.
