With solid evidence I do not favor plea deals but the prosecutor has other fish to fry (Miller, Ferree, etc.) Perhaps that is why they offered the plea to speed things along. There is no guarantee the judge will go easy during sentencing so it's a dice roll for the defense.

That’s the “if you can keep it.” statement that Benjamin Franklin made when asked what kind of government we had been given.
It’s the citizens job to be the final checks and balances. The judiciary has just sharpened its teeth from the lack of house keeping done by citizens. Now they will throw you in jail for asking questions and let you lawyer up on your own dime.
Our restraining order that must be sworn oath to by appointed and elected officials has been ignored, directly after swearing oath to it since the day after the constitution was ratified.
So we have about 200 years worth of house keeping to do in order to call our selves free citizens. Other wise the arbitrary law the judiciary serves themselves by will continue to drive debt upon our posterity.

Also, in Indiana we have an athletic director who stole cash from the gate at numerous home games, blatantly cheated fuel reimbursement for trips he never took. Used public school funds to support and shower his family with gifts. It’s going to take a long time for forensic accountants to determine how much money was stolen. I believe those who oversee these funds are responsible too.

U are so right, this judge is putting on a TV reality show amd acting all mad for the camera, it's so fake. This 💩 ex Sheriff is gonna do a couple years and the judge will yell at him to make himself look like he's up holding the law, but in Indiana, the sheriff's, DAs, judges, Correctional staff, etc all stick together. After a couple years or less he will go in front of the judge again when there isn't the cameras and news, victims, and release him early to probation. I would bet every last dollar I have on that. All the theatrical crap this judge is doing is just a show amd it's infuriating. He should've denied the plea and told them come back when there's a deal with him doing 20 or more years in prison. But he didn't, it's just a circus show and the judge is ACTING tough, not BEING tough on police officers who steal everything from the people of the state of Indiana.

New station needs to come the Knox County Indiana and investigate the prosecuting attorney who’s been linked to the drug cartel that’s why they shut down Bicknell police station. His name is J Dirk Carnahan. I’ve lived in this community for five years and the stories I hear about this guy from X police officer at that it’s Indiana folks most of this stuff gets swept under the rug.

Every person arrested by this guy while as sheriff should be looked into. All the officers under him that made arrest while hecwas sheriff should be looked at also. He done wrong and i bet some cops under him has committed crimes also. I bet ol Scottie Maples thats sheriff there now isnt as clean as he seems. SCOTTIE was this mans right hand man. Scottie knew jamey was breaking the law and did nothing about it.
