Bloody cool you had it since forever. judging by the rubber stuck to the underside of those rear gourds you can drive the wheels off her too. my experience with rust bubbling thru like that is its probably little worse underneath than it looks however still very fixable and if not most of it doesn't look structural so just adds character in my book.
Kinda similar to my grandfather's '67. Same deal with the bumpers (at least the front) being junk, and the drip rail bubbling. Also has 4 wheel manual drums. And a ratcheting shifter (Hurst Pro-Matic 2 in it). Even got a bench seat in it.
I got a 69 chevelle for graduation. My family (built) it for me. It was a sedan also. 4 days after I got it the brakes went out and I ran in front of a truck and crashed the quarter panel. The problem with the brakes was the vacuum check valve thingy that goes in the brake booster. dang a 2.00 part and my ignorance crashed my car.
Was this bought in central PA and red in color when you bought it...? My old man's car was identical to this and was painted in the same silver/black stripes after he sold it.
nice. those bubbles will stop with the digital msd. Those heads with the markings... I run a 1996 vortec, never noticed them. Add a map sensor, digital ramp..I bet you get to 350hp using wideband as the guide.

Right up my alley! I had a 69 back in the early 90's had the comp 280 cam sounded nice .. I like the strips breaks it up a bit . The car is all there looks good What gear is in the rear? Love the quick silver shifter! A must have back in the day lol but hey I see they still sell them just for a lot more money haha
+Fuel Injection Sucks nice gear If you ever decide you WANa go to a solid cam I have a comp extreme 282s nice cam good power' I just pulled it out and marked the lifters so everything can go right back in . Going turbo so I had comp grind me one up . Only had about 50 miles on the 282 cam . Also have a crower 288 112 center lobe would be decent for a mild turbo build its hyd no lifters forgot to mark them the rest is history lol Also have a rpm intake just throwing that out there I'd make ya. A good deal . It's pretty much just Gona sit on my shelf

They considered the post cars 2 door sedans, and the open window cars coupes. Today terminology has changed. People thought there was a BIG difference if your car was a post car or not. Same reason people drag raced the cheap 210 sedans as opposed to the Belairs in the 50s. The post made them less desirable.

you think fuel injection suck well I got a 2000 blazer with a lq4 6.6 liter that makes 435hp and it runs no nos no supercharger all natural on pump fuel 1/4 11:32 you hate fuel injection because you don't understand it

I also used to believe that cars were supposed to be full of shiney billet shit like on TV. Now I got smart and know that doesn't matter, or make your car faster

It sounds really nice when you open the throttle. Why does it sound so rough on idle? Seems like it runs good other than idle.
