- So we are continuing on with the E30, we have exactly 3 weeks to out first drift day, and time is running out.. so today we are finishing off some of the big jobs before the car is going for an exhaust and to get painted!
Firstly we need to remove the front struts so we can finally install our GAZ coilovers, but before we do so, we need to take them to the Wizards of Lock so we can get a custom hub made and some arms so we can run a lock kit on the front.
After this we can start installing the passenger side bucket seat, and start putting the car back together with the front bumper and the bonnet.

Loving this build i really think your doing a grate job. Your not hiding anything from us so makes ot easy for people to try and find fault as if they are all perfect. The car is going to be perfect for what you want to ise it for and once its done and your using it and there are bits your not happy woth im you will change it agen. So excited to see this car out and drifting.

Have a look at some photos online of other SWM seat mount plates mate. Some come with a holes drilled towards the back of the plate, under the holes that are used the mount to the side of the seat. You could put an eyelet on the side there and use a nut on the other side. That’s what I’ve done with mine anyways 👍🏻 Shame I can’t attach photos otherwise I would show you mine…

I think even if a fibre glass company had an exact copy it still wouldn’t fit correctly 😂I’ve never known one to fit perfectly without having to chop it

Keep pushing on mate. The E30 m 3 had so many changes from factory over the standard e30. Different front and rear screens rake angles. Higher rear boot due to change in rear screen. The e30 me is actually longer than the standard E30 ...that's why the front bumper did not fit properly. E30 m3 front end is longer in the metal. But you did well to get to where you are now.

Keep doing you lee. The majority of people that comment negative stuff wouldnt try a project so big. It may not be perfect but all done by ypur self. If in the future you hate the front bumper or run it over can always get another and cut it how you originally wanted it. Its not the end of the world. As for the bonnet couldnt ypu do somthing like you did with the mustang get a scope cut it out and fit it. Will add to the overall look. Good work keep going mate

Hi Lee could you go over the power steering setup looking at doing something similar in my car how did you go about doing the wiring just a switched live dose the power steering work okay with the astra pump?

cut a big hole in the bonnet and have the engine partially showing, and the e30 and the robin videos are the best ones

I dunno about anyone else but I just watch every video no matter what it's about lol
Make sure to use weldable primer as if not the rust will come back at the welded areas

cut the middle off the bonnet and put a scoop on it and you could make some bonnet raisers on rear

The cooling at high reves is going to be important. That bumper is blocking half the rad. The vents that close to it wont do much. If your running a electric fan fair play but we dont want you seeing over heating.

That front bumper was correct, the e30 m3 front bumper does stick out at the front. You fitted it wrong. I wish you would do your research first. Honestly, it's like watching del boys garage
You have no idea what you’re talking about, it’s the front wide arches creating a bigger wheel arch, there isn’t meant to be a 4 inch gap between the lights and start of the bumper, stick to your zafira Steve

Ngl I think I watches like 90% of your vids and I just love you finishing projects and enjoying them.
