The problem with inflation is that most people think of it as going up or down. Inflation is cumulative! You can think of it as a pile of cost and each month we measure it and it gets added to the pile. Inflation doesn’t get smaller, it just grows at a slower or faster rate but each month it gets added to the pile. That’s why people feel worse off because the cost of everything keeps getting bigger!
Spot on, it would actually require DEflation. It's like home prices in the late 60's to the 70's, despite a crash, the new low is never as low as the last low and likely not even as low as the last high. I see the solution is to increase supply way ahead of demand. For housing, change the laws. First time buyers are at an all time low. Boomers have had the voting power for the last 50 years but in 2028 it will be millennial's for the first time so we will see things favoring them soon just like it did for boomers. Not blaming boomers, it's just that the majority voters get what benefits them and the boomers are no longer going to be the majority. It will be interesting to watch.
wow I found Sherlock Holmes.
This is precisely why most wages are actually declining.

@@antpoo good traders (and investors) play probabilities and possibilities using money and risk managment. How many times have we not had a recession or depression when the yield curve reinverted? Thera are arguments for 9 out of the last 10 but some say 10 out of 10. Is it possible we get a soft landing. Of course it is the probabilty of that is almost zero. That like you knowing that 9 times out of 10 ten its going to a red card... but you still bet black. You could win but the odds are not in your favor. @@user-py7hg1eb5m You do realize that WWII had a lot to do with Germany's currency going almost worthless? That is because of money printing. It works until it doesn't and then the bottom falls out. A lot of folks say we are the world reserve currency we can print as much as we want with not consequences (MMT) wich of course is nonsense because if that were true we would not be dealing with inflation... and even Yellen has said we are losing more and more of the reserve currency status as time goes on. So we might very well print even more money but if we do there are consequences.

Hasn't for a very long time . The Gov't took power from the people in the aftermath of the 1929 Bank runs ..starting the socialism for security tax and payroll tax shortly after. The US became the World Order in 1945 (Bretton Woods agreement). They confiscated gold and made it illegal for Americans to own for 40 straight years..
Anymore?? When has it ever?? Did the people have a say when the Gov't confiscated gold and made it illegal to own for 40 straight years?? Then stripping silver from the coinage by 1964?? What about when our Gov't aligned with Saudi Arabia and fought many wars for the House of Saud?? Your vote don't matter ..just like your Bill of Rights don't really matter
It does if you vote for Trump.

What I remember was everybody having bumper stickers BUY AMERICAN . but as usual the establishment was not put there to Hear Us...
People dont even buy American cars now to put these stickers on. I'll never drive an import
Buy American on a Chinese EV LOL
funny thing was the car parts are most likely made oversea, and the sticker was made in China
LOL
And now very little is even made in America. It's sad we've been sold out to other countries. Personally I blame it on the unions. One of my jobs I had , the union took us out on a 6 month strike, because they were trying to get us pay raises that the company couldn't afford. Everyone I spoke with wanted to go back to work, but the union kept us out. We never recouped what we lost during that 6 months, even with the wage raise we ended up getting. Unions drove our companies out of our country by demanding too high of wages.
The US can't be the World Order and supply the world with goods. China is in this cycle now ...the more money it's people make from producing goods to the world the more their standard of life increases..they can afford more luxuries ..so they export labor to buy goods . Now imagine if the world handed the Chinese the World Order and gave the yuan or renmembi the reserve currency status... Voila..China is no longer producing goods but lending the world it's currency and using the profits to expand themselves military..just like the US has since the Bretton Woods agreement

Wow, Melissa, you are so patient!
You just have to research items. About 10 years ago I purchased a outside extension cord. It was a lot more expensive than what you can get at Walmart. Although, you do not have to be concerned about it ever going bad!! Four years ago I purchased a sturdy cat scratcher tower, It cost almost 80 dollars. It is many times more sturdy than the other ones sold at shops. The one I purchased was made in America.
Can I ask the brand of cat scratcher? I'm in need of a replacement. My 15lb boy shreds them.

Your guest said the federal government has only two ways of ending its debt problem: (1) deflationary depression, or (2) Weimar Republic-style inflation. A third way also exists-raise taxes on those most able to pay. By coincidence, those people and corporations were the ones who benefited the most from QE and excessive Covid spending. In addition, the politicians will have to quit wasting so much of our money.
Federal government tax revenues are up 36%, since 2019.
The top 10% of income earners already pay the vast majority of income taxes. This is a grossly naive and uneducated statement straight out of a collectivist echo chamber.
Who's the debt owed to? Know one can ever answer that question! This whole debt issue is a farce. It's all numbers and numbers can be easily zeroed! If they wanted to they could roll prices back across the board to 1959 prices. People are "human chattel property" to the federal government and their wealthy owners/corporations this is why we were issued a social security number, we are the slaves and our work output is their commodities gain. For the last 100+ years the ultra wealthy who own us chattel they prospered through our knowledge and labor output and or knowledge input which always benefits the rich. Patents are stolen from the creators, ideas are stolen from the the chattel and the idea makers "chattel" pay taxes on their own labor output and on the items we purchase. It's legalized theft! our ideas/knowledge are stolen while they make all the money we're thrown crumbs. Now all that collective knowledge and ideas have made them billions the chattel which is us are no longer needed, thus they labeled us now as useless eaters. We're now not needed! This what I call a silent depression that is going on designed to eliminate the middle class and lower middle class. You won't see this comment as the shadow ban all my comments.
Correct. But the last time this happened in a substantive way in the US was because the Great Depression happened and unions put a lot of pressure on FDR to institute widespread social safety measures and increase tax rates on the wealthy.
Take all of the wealthy people income you still could not pay the debt
Damn this is depressing 😭

Putting food and necessary items on credit cards is so bad. At least your debit card you don’t have to pay it back.
I use both credit & debit and payoff credit before interest is due. But these cards are the foot in the door to bring in the CBDC'S. It's been their plan since 1913 when the federal reserve was illegally created. We had our fill of central banks at that time, but the bankers made it appear to be something other than a central bank, by putting the word "federal" in the name to make people think that our government was involved and the word "reserve" fooling us into thinking that it had plenty of money in reserve. We were Duped.
True if you can’t pay it at the end of the month. I have just started using one card to pay all bills and before my bill is due I set up payment for the entire balance. This way I don’t miss paying any bills on time. But those using CC for everything are in dire straights thanks to the great Covid scam and job losses. They’ve /Rosen so many.
Using a credit card for food and gas is actually better than using a debit card

I was on the podcast of another financial analyst and tried to press like, but youtube would not let me. Said "quota reached". I refreshed and that still happened. They don't want us to figure it out! And yes, Rumble does not do that; it is a better platform that way.
I remember when Walmart had two huge made in the USA signs on each side of the entryways when you would go in on the outside of the building, those were taken down and I think that's when America started going down.
I think Walmart has been part of the problem. When Walmart moved to town the local small business owners couldn’t compete. The stores closed down as customers no longer needed the mom and pop shops. The big boxes usually have lower prices because of the volume they sell. Main Street USA has never been the same since. Then Walmart moved to the outskirts of town to avoid taxes after the tax breaks for being in town expired. As I understand it Sam Walton at least wanted “Made in the USA” and that went away after his passing for the most part. Supporting local businesses keeps cities from turning into ghost towns.

The startups and venture firms that had uninsured balances in SVB should have lost it all - that would have been a good educational moment and would have cooled off the market, reduced wealth effect, and REALLY nipped inflation in the bud. The State of Illinois has a pension crisis much the same where it’s the government trying to raise and keep home values extremely high to collecting higher property taxes. That future crushes the younger generations but they ultimately will win the long game because cracks, pot holes and craters form in people finances and retirement plans beyond age 50. The Boomers may own the most homes by numbers have real problems coming past 2027 when they start running out of money an they must figure out what to do with high priced homes.
