This video is standing-ovation worthy. 👏 Lots of great tips and hint, no BS, technic clearly shown with supporting recommendations (ie. spring clamp, smaller hose size, etc). As a seasoned aquarist there were a couple of “ah ha” moments when I thought, “why didn’t I think of that,”. Great video all around! Kudos. Wish we could get you to ship to your friends to the north 🇨🇦🇨🇦under an easier format.
great video! I like how this video in specific features a lot of new tips. Most videos have the same few repeat tips but this one offers lots of stuff I haven't thought about before. I especially liked the filter floss to clean corner algae
With the 1/2" tube, how were you getting the suction started? Is there a better way then just sucking on the end and trusting your skill no not get a mouthful of aquarium water? Great video by the way, subscribed!
Glad you liked it! Good question - to avoid taking a drink here, make sure the tube is totally clear first. Don't do a big inhale...it doesn't take much. Keep an eye on the water - the second it comes through the tube over the rim, stop and let gravity do the rest. With around 4-5ft of tubing, you should have enough time to get out of the way!

Much appreciated! (and I love Whistler ⛷️) 😁👊
I've never seen the tip about the angled siphon end, thats helpful.
Thanks! It’s hard to find things that some people haven’t thought of before. This is one that I have used so many times, I had to share it.

You can tell your betta was super curious about the cleaning. Mine does the same thing.
I love that about this guy - always comes up to say hi :)
