- SAN DIEGO--William Shatner returns to Comic-Con to introduce his new EPIX original documentary "Get A Life."
The documentary, based on Shatner's popular book, examines the cultural phenomena of the "Star Trek" television series and film. Shatner explores fans, aka, "Trekkers" who have attended conventions, revealing the obsession and secrets behind their passion of "Star Trek."
Shatner sat with the media Saturday at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel in San Diego to discuss his latest film, and the impact of his role as "Captain James T. Kirk."

William Shatner was becoming more introspective and evolving even then. I respect that he is and he's candid about it. Such reflection was always in him, however unconscious it was and cavalier he could be -- which was why he was attractive to many. ✨

The inconsideration of some people is incredible! A fan walks up to William Shatner as he is being interviewed and rudely interrupts his interview just so that the fan can take Shatner's picture! Common sense courtesy is that you wait until he finishes his interview,THEN you can ask him if you can take a photo of him! Some people are so idiotically stupid!
Saturday Nigh Live skit-He told people how it is. GET A LIFE!! I get into things but it doesn't rule my life. Wake up call.
Shatner's put-down of Star Trek and Comic Con fans on Sat. Nite Live is still a blast. "Get a life people" Losers dressing as Spiderman or Superman...get a life.
That's what I thought when I turned up dressed as a vulcan.
